Canopia Herald 1.4 x 4.5 metre canopy.

This is an attractive and effective canopy, supplied with good, quite easy to follow installation instructions and is quite straightforward to build with a couple of fiddly jobs, installation took about 1 working day. My experience was that almost all the build was a 1 person task, another helper was needed, briefly, for positioning the beam against the wall and installing the glazing.
Almost all packaging is recycle able but on opening there was some damage to a few components, scuffs, bends and dents - improved packaging may solve.
It would be better if the information that buying sealant for assembly is needed is available before the boxes are opened. I’d rather collect all I need to assemble before I start, rather than open boxes, read instructions go to Toolstation then start again. I think that the recommended silicone lubricant is essential when installing the rubber seal to the extension, it’s a fiddly task and tucking the end under the metalwork 1.4 metres away is tricky, a long flat screwdriver helped. Not sure about the permanence of the black plastic nut caps, I’m sure I’ll be waking up to many of those on the drive in the summer, maybe a spot of silicone sealant when fitting is a good idea.

I’d recommend the canopy, it’s a good price, easily installed and nicely finished (if not damaged).

Nice greenhouse. The only problem is the noise the windowpanels make in the wind.

6' x4' Palram Capopla Harmony Greenhouse, Delivery was on time, however Things then went down hill. There were missing parts, Damaged components ( dents and bent items, edges of the flimsy steel parts and cut allumium extrusions had not been deburred, this resulted in thee deep cuts to both my thumbs and one finger when assembling these items, incorrect door hinges supplied, poor assembly instructions overall a lot of the section detail was not clear. The label attached to the instruction manuel was titled "Quatity Control" What quality control???.Customer service was for the present Good, but because we are waiting for the door hinge issue to be sorted and for missing items to be supplied the jury is out regarding a final evaluation at present. My rating at this time is 2 stars only. W D Heath

Cost effective way to have a sunroom, build your own, great I thought, they look good in the pictures, nightmare to build, silly plastic pins to hold the structure together, not all window trims fitted in tight, up about 9 weeks when we had winds, the roof panels starting popping out and yes it was built properly as per their manual, then the roof supports popped out, snapping plastic pins, eventually took rest of roof panels off so they didn't blow away, finally put back together now but have no faith in the structure and how long it will last, still paying for it, customer services we really helpful , supplied me with a free metal trim that was lost in the wind but clear panels that were smashed when they came out I had to pay for, resorted to using gorilla tape to hopefully hold the panels in place for a bit, hopefully get a bit of use out of it before the next wind gets it, wish I had just bought a metal greenhouse structure, wouldn't look as good but at least it might still be in one piece, definitely would not recommend these

Die Qualität des Palram Canopia Harmony 1,9 x1,9 ist minderwertig. Es hält den Winden der Norddeutschen Tiefebene nicht stand. Es stand gerade mal 1,5 Jahre!!! Das dazugehörige Befestigungsmaterial ist billige China-Ware!!!
Palram kann ich nicht empfehlen.

I purchased a Palram Green house in 2000, it was built to a price, but acceptable. In windy conditions the opening window latch was poor so I resorted to using a bungy cord as a more secure locking mechanism. Recently in a storm I forgot to fix the bungy cord and the openening window assembly was lost. I contacted Palram was offered a replacemen, a bit expensive but replacement parts often are. I paid by bank transfer and whilst waiting for delivery the window was found on top of a 2.5m high hedge. As I hadn't received the replacement I asked if I could cancel or return and get a partial refund. The refund was offered but now over 4 weeks have elapsed and I haven't received the part or the refund.
On 27/12 I received the refund!

Unfortunately I lost the curtain clips that the four curtains that the gazebo has, I contacted their customer service and they have promised to replace these clips FOC! You can’t get a better after sale service than that.

Absolute flimsy rubbish. The Perspex is so thin. It disintegrated on its first windy outing ( and yes it was put together properly and anchored down) so we dismantled the remains and it went to the recycling centre. A waste of good money.

Absolutely superb customer satisfaction was achieved. Palram Applications dealt with an issue whereby their product was purchased through a third party merchant who provided awful customer service. They were professional and went above and beyond regarding my issue.

Just finished putting up palram 8 by 6 shed. Oh dear, I've never seen such a flimsy mess. The floor is lifting along the joins, it rattles like crazy and I would not put anything I valued in it. I dread it being windy as the thing shakes even though its anchored. I've never seen such a crap shed. How can these firms get away with selling stuff like this. Daylight robbery

I really like the idea of a maintenance free shed, which is why I bought two of these - a 6'x10' and a 6'x12'. If you decide to get a shed like this, there are a couple of things that you have to be prepared for. The first is that these sheds rattle. Oh, how they rattle. If you watch any of the assembly videos you will see that the wall and roof panels slot quite freely into aluminium channels. As a result, the sheds are noisy on all but very still days.

The other thing with my sheds, has been leaks. A couple of days after the second one went up, there was heavy rain and wind. When it stopped, I went out to check on the sheds, and was disappointed to find multiple leaks, mainly at the corners. The open vents (without louvers) near the apex of the roof doesn't help either. Be prepared to buy several cans of "JENOLITE Stop Leak Sealer Spray", or similar.

Many sheds have sliding doors, but these ones are hinged, so they flap in the wind. You will need something very heavy to hold them back.

Overall, they don't feel like a quality product, and given the price, I thing they are a bit of a letdown.

Structure is sound but I’m afraid that living in MIssissippi with the wind issues will the walls hold up? So far it proves to be pretty good about keeping the rain out, still remains to be seen.

Bought a Canopia Feria back in November 2021, installed perfectly. Encountered a 30mph wind storm with heavy rain two weeks ago. Next day found fiberglass pieces everywhere and panels had shown signs of flaking. I thought that was odd seeing how they claim the panels are polycarbonate. Company tried to tell me that I had not removed the protective coverings. I've been a building contractor for 30 years.

Got a 6x10 greenhouse wasn't the easiest to build on my own but in time was ok. Ive had this for over a year in the box when building I was missing a few parts few emails and a phone call my parts will be sent out tomorrow free of charge. Excellent customer service 👏

Ok…we bought a Palram Shed. And surely it could be no harder than furniture from IKEA ?. WRONG !!!. 6 hours into unboxing the Palram Skylight 6 X 8, my husband, and his friend were desperate. The manual may as well be ancient Sumerian, the video is a lie. The video takes between 2 and 10 minutes to guide you through the allegedly easy and straightforward assembly of the shed, but best ignore that - our Palram has so far taken 11 hours to build, and it still has no roof. My husband is far removed from stupid- he regularly carries out DIY jobs, and has a science degree, but the Palram Shed nearly floored him- only the fact that we desperately needed a shed meant he persevered. In the video and manual, the shed construction is meant to be carried out by 2 people. Ours needed 3 people - 2 to build the shed, 1 to watch the video, decipher the manual, and supply drinks, food , and moral support. The shed was missing some bolts and screws, and the so far 11 hour build doesn’t include the detour to town to buy stand in bolts and screws. The shed is actually moderately robust once erected, but it’s getting to that stage which is challenging. Perhaps if you regularly build matchstick models, or Airfix with a blindfold on, you might be ok ? I’m not saying don’t buy a Palram Shed, I’m saying prepare yourself for more than Palram promise you. Put aside a whole weekend- if it takes less time, you can chill with a takeaway and some celebratory beers/wine. Avail yourself of help from a regular DIY doing friend, count all the screws in the kit before you start, and go get more if needed. Send your children away for the weekend, as you might find yourselves swearing a lot. Also ask yourself why most Palram sheds on the internet are discounted…. In fact If you can, get Palram to come erect the Shed for you -They seem to find it so easy, it shouldn’t take them more than an hour or so. Everyone else, prepare for the best, expect the worse. Ok, so now we are allbut finished except for the Shed door. Our Palram has now taken 15 hours to build Barr putting the door on, and that is 15 hours we are never going to get back…. Good luck all who sign up for a Palram Shed, and aim to construct her……….watch this post for information on when we get the door on and complete the Palram Challenge!!!!

I’m back 24 hours later. For 2.5 hours, two of us have been trying to put the doors together. We’ve put the doors together, with their metal edging frames, but even that wasn’t simple. The manual is no easier to follow 24 hours on….ok, i started this addendum at 4.37 GMT, we still cannot put the doors on, as two of the metal frame pieces are misaligned. This has meant finding some non standard wider screws, which were not supplied, but were within the Screw assortment kit I bought yesterday ( Brackit kit Amazon, 3 sizes of screw from Wilko, organiser Pro kit , Amazon, total cost, £74.85). 40 mins later, The doors still won’t fit…we’ve come to the conclusion it’s a manufacturer error ( it can’t be anything else, as one door fits perfectly the other WILL NOT !. We are going to widen the drill hole…it’s 9.19 now. We’ve just hung the doors, but we had to make a few modifications. My advice ????. Buy a wooden shed, or pay someone to erect your Palram. Or do the Palram challenge…you’ll either be 1 of the 50 odd percent who get a kit that came out perfectly or like us, you won’t. You were warned !!!!

Recently bought my Dad a shed after the one he lovingly built himself from wood started to rot. This is the biggest waste of £800 I have ever experienced. Terrible quality, flimsy materials and not what you would expect for that amount of money. Buy wood!! Don't bother with this.

Brought A Palram 6x4 greenhouse £399 its a load of sh:t the instructions for Assembly might as well be written in Latin well the pictures for assembly are so confusing you are better off not bothering with them as each page just contradict there self. Mostly the product is not worth the money poor quality very flimsy a crisp bag is stronger

I ordered a greenhouse from Palgam through a large store. Unfortunately it came damaged and I sent the images to them as requested. I informed them that I had someone coming to assemble the greenhouse and I couldn't cancel that without paying them. The store advised me that if I could still use the damaged parts, they would issue me a partial refund. As this was possible, I went ahead and the guys built the greenhouse and I awaited the partial refund.
After a couple of emails I was told that it was now in the hands of Palram.
A week later they contacted me to say that the store shouldn't have given me the option of a partial refund and I could either return the greenhouse or order the new parts.
By this time I had a greenhouse full of plants and the parts that were damaged meant that it would have to be totally dismantled to replace them.
I argued that I would then have the costs to get it dismantled and reassembled! Palram were not prepared to fund this and said the product was a DIY assembly and they wouldn't expect that anyone buying it would employ someone to assemble it!
What a ridiculous statement! It happens I have issues with my back and I couldn't do it myself.
The person in customer services was so rude and said as I had chose to get it assembled it was down to me! I argued I didn't choose to receive a damaged product!
Palram then blamed the courier for the damage, when two of the damaged parts were packed in the middle of a box and clearly damaged at the manufacturer.
I was also told that there was a backlog of complaint emails and a delay in answering them of five days! That doesn't inspire me to buy Palram products with any amount of confidence!
It is the first time I've dealt with Palram and unfortunately the last.
Really disappointed that a company of this size has such an awful customer service and a total disregard for customers after they have purchased a faulty product!
I won't be back! Buy at your peril folks!!!
