Stay as far away from this product as…
Stay as far away from this product as possible! An absolute nightmare to assemble, flimsy as all hell and an overall piece of crap! I've assembled many sheds over the years and never have I've come across such an abortion case as this! Unmarked components, less than informative instructions and it's like trying to build a house of cards when assembling! I can't believe that they even put something like this out on the market! An absolute piece of garbage!!! Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this at all costs!!!
***DO NOT BUY THIS SHED, NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE***
***DO NOT BUY THIS SHED***
Me and my partner have been putting up this shed for my mum and it is the flimsiest piece of rubbish we have ever seen. The walls have the strength of a margarine tub lid, you won’t be able to lean anything against the walls as they bend out. It will not withstand high winds and it is not secure as you could cut through the plastic walls. It is not fit for purpose and am going to contact trading standards to see where my mum stands with this purchase! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Don’t buy from this company!
Don’t buy from this company!
So they will have their products labelled as ‘in stock’ so you will think they are in stock. But they aren’t in stock. They are warehoused in Israel. You will have made your purchase and been told “it will be delivered within the stated timeframe” but it won’t be. In fact you may not even get the shed you ordered. And when you do get a shed arrive, you may want to check there’s actually something inside the box because they have a habit of forgetting to put everything you need in the box. The shed I had delivered had over 70 missing pieces!!! When you try to contact Palram to inform them of the issue they will not help you and do their best to ensure that you get a resolution, they will redirect you to their website where they expect you to sort it out yourself. Once you’ve ordered your missing parts you’ll be lucky to actually receive them because they think there’s something amusing about sending empty packages out to you instead of the pieces you require. This company are a disgrace. And in case anyone was wondering the quality of the shed is rubbish as well.
Ordered greenhouse from Amazon
Ordered greenhouse from Amazon, never got product and had to write numerous inquires to figure out the issue. Was told its Covid's fault and I still dont have product or money back after a month from purchase. This company does not make it right. STAY AWAY FROM PALRAM IF YOU CAN!
FLIMSY DO NOT BUY
I would have given zero stars if I could! The most FLIMSY shed you’ll ever buy, very poor construction, the frame is so weak it can hardly hold the panels together just a normal rainy windy day will destroy this shed! DO NOT BUY very expensive as well.
overpriced and not fit for use
The plastic this sheds panels are made from is so thin, I can only liken to margarine tub quality.
Upon opening the box I was shocked at how flimsy they were so I read a reviews page on a shed website which said it was solid when erected and all the aluminium channels fixed.
I therefore decided not to send it back which was a mistake.
Terrible to build, impossible on your own as so flimsy it takes almost a day for two people.
Even built up it is terribly flimsy, as said you cannot possibly lean anything against its walls.
I wonder how it fares in the heat I can imagine it might melt.
Disgusted at paying £480 for such garbage !
I will now line it with plywood just to give it some strength.
Looks smart.... until you touch it.

Bought a greenhouse last year never used it as it has collapsed in high winds and broke. Cannot get into their website to complain. I would not recommend them
Poor After-sale Customer Service
Purchased an 8 x 12 Glory as it was supposed to be a higher quality greenhouse. It comes with a side louvered window, but the slats are 1/2 inch too short to engage in both the right and left window sides, and there isn't any adjustability designed in (e.g. slotted holes). Either the design is incorrect or I received slats that were the result of a manufacturing defect. I have tried unsuccessfully for over a month to get correctly sized replacement slats sent from Palram, but the US customer service folks for Palram are unresponsive to my repeated requests. So, I'm stuck with an expensive greenhouse that has a hole in the side where a working louvered window should be - very frustrating to say the least. This is not at all what I expected when choosing to purchase a Palram product, and based on their horrendous after-sale service I can only warn other that if you have any issues with yoyr Palram product good luck getting assistance in resolving it! BUYER BEWARE.
If you want a larger shed give this a miss!
If you want a larger shed, give this a miss! A 6 x 10 took four of us 5 hours on one day, then two of us 4 hours to finish off on day 2. We followed all the instructions which were fairly easy to understand and follow, but everything took a long time and lots of the assembly towards the later bit was very fiddly. We had to do lots of tweaking/adjusting to get things lined up right as it all came together, which took longer than actually getting the pieces put together. Especially challenging to then get it all aligned so the floor panels would lie as flat as possible, but no matter what there’s still some buckling. The worst thing through - the doors are terribly flimsy! It doesn't matter how tough the poly sheets are, the door construction lets it down and would be a breeze to break into! They should have some aluminium bracing, which might also help square off the corners. Speaking of breezes, any rain that has any wind accompanying it will get in very easily; we'll have to seal all the joins, especially on the roof and the floor, and get something to cover the end vents to keep out insects and most of the rain (while trying to let some air through). Not well thought out! The reviews saying this was quick and easy must have been on tiny sheds. The only saving grace is that it looks nice. I would strongly urge people to get a wooden shed. Unless I hated that person, then I'd tell them to go for it!
CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICES
Customer services are ignorant and useless after 1 reply which did not help they do not bother to help you out also phone number on the website is wrong
Great quality and very sturdy
Purchased the Arcadia car port and went for the extension to 5 metres. Just from the weight and size of the delivery parcels we knew that we had purchased something substantial.
5 meters was slightly too long for what we wanted but with a little care and taking our time we were able to reduce the length to 4.7 metres. Just requires a little hacksaw work and a few holes drilling.
It really is a three person assembly. My wife and I did it on our own as we were in lockdown and only managed because we had walls on two sides which allowed us to lean the uprights against and then pull in.
The roof supports are very heavy so two strong folks needed but their weight does give confidence in the quality and durability of the structure.

Amazing after sales service
Amazing customer service. I completed the 'contact us' form on the website, as a roof window had blown off the greenhouse during a storm, and was contacted by Lisa at Palram that morning. She asked me what parts I'd lost and then arranged for them to be delivered, free of charge, 2 days later. Absolutely first rate.

contacted the company via their website as I needed some replacement sheets for the roof of a donated greenhouse. Came back to me within 5 minutes of submitting the request and the order had already gone to the warehouse for despatch....free of charge. Fantastic service from Lisa Sudlow-lane. Thanking you very much
Took ages to put together
Took ages to put together, 6 hours.
Instructions at times unclear.
Would have been better if panels came with metal frame Already on where possible.
Feels flimsy and as others said can’t really lean anything against it or walls bow out.
Only bought to store a few things in so security was not a priority.
I did read lots of reviews before purchasing and most said how easy to put together etc.
Should have left it and waited until I could get my first Choice of shed, But with the coronavirus about it wouldn’t have been until 2021.
Do not buy if you want any security!
This shed is the most flimsy, insecure shed you could possibly buy. The panels are wafer thin and can be cut open with a Stanley knife with no effort whatsoever. You would have as much security with a plastic sheet. It will keep the rain off but not much more. If you put anything of value in it you will need to chain it to something simple as!
Shocked when delivery driver carried it…
Shocked when delivery driver carried it in on his shoulders. Plastic very thin, I expected it to clip together, looked like a Mechano set when unpacked. Would not recommend doesn’t seem very strong,
Budget quality and poor after sales support
I bought a Palram 10x6 hybrid greenhouse. The price looked excellent value and the reviews seemed good. Erection was straight forward in the main, the only tricky bits were the skylight window and some of the plastic finishings. It took me about 8 hours on my own over two days to put up including leveling an area, laying some old flags and setting out the base on day 1 and completing construction on day 2. The result looked flimsy due to the thin and light polycarbonate glazing but felt rigid enough. So far so good, I used the greenhouse through the summer and have been pleased with that aspect, however I am becoming concerned as autumn gets closer and also have several gripes.
Firstly, on the positive side, I bought the greenhouse on line from Robert Dyas in March just before the Covid19 lock down. Delivery was direct from manufacturer so I was worried that it may not arrive. I contacted Palram by email and was pleased to get a quick reply reassuring me and my greenhouse arrived just 2 weeks late which I thought was excellent given the circumstances.
From thereon however customer service bombed.
The packaging advertised a choice of free accessories if I left a review. I posted a review and applied for the free staging offered. From this point on responses to emails dried up, not even courtesy acknowledgements of my application or to my numerous emails over the next 3 months and complaints registered through the Palram website. Although I was unaware of the free staging offer when I bought the greenhouse I felt angry that they had not honored the offer and that their after sales service was so unresponsive.
In terms of the product itself the first problem I had was that the lightweight glazing is easily knocked out of the frame so in the confined space it’s important to be careful when moving large objects around. The glazing does push back in easily though.
Secondly there are a number of plastic fittings that attach to ends of the framework. Mostly aesthetic and non functional but it was disappointing that not all of them fitted easily/well and some kept falling off.
The worst issue is the skylight. It attaches to the apex with a fiddly hooking action and is only held in place by the plastic elbow/hinge that also holds the window open. The elbow is not robust and after a few gusty days lifting the window out of its lodging the hinge and its attachments became so loose that it is no longer strong enough to hold the frame in place. I am looking at ways to attach the frame using a metal hinge and have for the time being tied the window down but am dreading the autumn with any serious winds.
I have contacted Palram on numerous occasions now about all of the above issues without getting any acknowledgement or response.
The greenhouse is proving to be of budget quality. It has done what I needed through the summer but I am not confident that it will do well through the winter or provide me with many years use in the future. Palram after sales service is non existent so I will not be buying any more of their products.
Palram - Skylight Pent Shed 4x6…
Palram - Skylight Pent Shed 4x6
I wish I had done more research and read more reviews of this product - it is poor quality, flimsy and a waste of money. Assembly can be time consuming and requires at some stages more than two to assist construction and maintain stability. I can only deduce those who have written favourable product reviews of this product in particular have low expectations and are easily pleased.
The shed has limited wind resistance with very light flimsy panels which do nothing for stability. Despite fully anchoring the base I have had to reinforce the walls and upper door frame with thick plywood to make the shed robust and achieve good stability. The screws fixing the door hinges are self-tappers and can be seen within the supports of that side of the door frame. The upper hinge bears most weight and is likely in time to bend and distort its supporting frame. Nuts and bolts would have been better here. I intend to replace the self- tappers with small bolts and use wood packers in the door frame to improve support.
The paint covering the fastening bolts and hinges is poor and will degenerate and flake off with the elements.
Galvanised products would have been better here. I intent to repaint existing fittings with Black Hammerite paint. The vents at the top of the shed will need to be netted to prevent insects or other parasites invading the shed interior.
In summary an awful product - don’t buy unless you are prepared to spend more money to modify the shed to be more robust and tolerate the elements. (High winds in particular - it is only rated for winds up to 56mph.)
One star in my review is being exceptionally generous - it’s a **** product, Profit seems more important than quality here to the manufacturer and resellers.
I have invalidated the guarantee - but who cares - all my modifications give me a small utility garden shed that I expect if used sensibly will outlive any guarantee offered by this company. This is not a product as sold to install in environments where inclement weather and high winds can be expected - Scotland, for example. Global warming with climate change needs more consideration in the design of this particular shed to make it more robust. It’s certainly not worth c£320.
I repeat DONT BUY.
What a fantastic shed
What a fantastic shed. Took two of us 6hrs but worth it. Never bought/built one of these sheds before but found it quite simple, really good instructions and had plenty of fixings, everything was in the boxes. Really happy with it and would recommend. 5 ⭐.
