Initial quote was extremely high compared to previous year but after phoning I was able to get insurance with another company with a more acceptable, competitive premium

Lucky escape
The company provided a home insurance quote on the compare the market app of £299, Which the company would not accept payment for online. The company then failed to honour the quote when I contacted them to make payment over the phone or on their own website, despite checking that the details supplied on both sites were identical.
Not a very professional or trustworthy company. Cannot imagine what they would have done if I had successfully made payment and needed to make a claim.
All in all I feel the company has done me a very big favour by showing me how bad their systems are before I paid them any money.
