Once again Ollie Quinn has been superb! I emailed them having broken my beloved previous frames. They got back to me so quickly to let me know that those particular frames were no longer available but went above and beyond with a list of the most similar frames. All were great suggestions but I opted for one of them based purely on the advice and the picture of the frames. I no longer live near any of their branches but I went ahead and ordered. My new glasses arrived in a week and I am delighted with them! I really don't think I would have trusted any other company to buy glasses without trying them on but I did and they smashed it!

Really helpful and efficient member of staff sorted out my query and an easy exchange of products took place.

I placed an order for prescription sunglasses on April 5th, with an assurance that they would be ready within 7 days. However, I recently received an email stating that there will be a further delay of another week. Considering that my prescription is standard and the sunglasses are priced at around £225, this level of service is highly disappointing. Overall, my experience has been far from satisfactory.

Brilliant product and easy to buy with confidence online. Very acceptable build time and delivery with prescription lenses. Excellent customer service desk via email.

Purchased a lovely pair of Ollie Quinn prescription sunglasses last June. The sunglasses originally cost £125 plus another extra £70 for the prescription lenses.

However, as my prescription changed I found myself having to reglaze the sunglasses. I was surprised to find the reglazing service was priced at £145! The Ollie Quinn website states that replacement lenses costs £95.

The sunglasses are lovely (although, sadly, i can no longer wear them). The hidden costs and lack of transparency and clear information quite frustrating really.

Bad quality frames. It snapped at the bridge randomly whilst I was wearing them after about a year of wear. All the frames I’ve had previously have lasted a few years

Give up wasting my money. I have am now on my third pair of Dominic frames that have just broken - yet again! The hinges are not fit for purpose. In the 30yrs of wearing glasses I have never once broken the arm off a pair of glasses, except when it comes to this pair! Refuse to spend another £75 replacing frames when they refuse to acknowledge their product is poor quality. Save your money and buy a more established eye brand!

Great frames, however I was encouraged to buy two different glasses (as I have a long sighted AND short sighted prescription)… having tried to switch between glasses, when I finally called back to ask to switch to varifocals, I was told that the frames I had chosen were unsuitable, so I should buy a 3rd pair! Had I been told at the time that if wearing the long view glasses for driving, I wouldn’t be able to see the dashboard, I would have reconsidered, but this was not made clear. Shame, as otherwise lovely choice of frames.

I don’t really know where to start with this one. I first used Ollie Quinn back in 2016(?) I think. I’ve had several pairs of glasses since. I was a happy repeat customer. Now I find myself in the position of questioning if I’ll ever return. My recent experience has been so terrible undermining all the trust I once had in this brand. In a nutshell (there was so much wrong with the whole customer journey) eye test with a completely wrong prescription such that I could not see out of them when they arrived, wrong frames delivered etc. All the corrections have been at my expense in time and cost. I had to pay for a second eye test with another optician to get the right prescription to be then fulfilled. Only Rory on the end of the email had a great manner (thank you Rory). The lack of empathy from the further contact was astonishing. Hoping I actually get the correct glasses at some point - as of now they have not arrived.

I initially tried to visit the Canary Wharf store for an eye test just before Christmas. Slightly late, I was stressed and concerned about missing the test. The staff did little to help and was at the point where it felt sarcastic.

I then had to re-arrange, this time at the Spitalfields store. The staff there were a lot friendlier and it was a much more enjoyable experience. However, I then had to wait over 2 weeks to have my results simply e-mailed to me, having chased them.

Now you may look at these glasses and think hm they’re plastic so maybe not be great quality. Let me tell you, I’ve had my Miller frame for about 5 years now and last week someone took them off my face at a gig & threw them into a mosh pit. I waited til everyone had cleared to find them and i still can’t believe it but … they were intact. Naturally the lens is scratched & the wing had to be bent back in place, but i’m still able to wear them. Unbelievable. Anything less than 5 stars would be unjust.

Of course buying my next pair from OQ ahead of the next mosh pit.

Great optician with gorgeous frames.
Really helpful in store and very simple to use website- I uploaded my prescription, they told me about 1-2 weeks- delivered in wonderful condition and perfect.
