Great service
Great service from Jen Napier at Aberdeen. She made at least 5 phone calls for me when I was waiting at the branch. I couldn't get insurance for a replacement but I was booked in the next day and had my van sorted and back on the road by 12 the following day. I thought I would be off road for a week.

Return Damage scammers. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Northgate operate a terrible scam where they overcharge for damage repair after the vehicle has been returned and then try and bully you to pay with threats of winding up your company. Fair wear and tear goes out the window, and the damages no matter how small are charged at ridiculous amounts. Northgate is charging £22000 on two vans! Without full details and without seeking authorization as per their contract clauses.
Not having this and will take it as far as possible in court. Building up a case to make sure they don’t try this to anyone ever again. If you have been hit by this Northgate scam, please send us a message.

I appreciate that you feel that we have overcharged for our damage, however please note that in most cases, Northgate use the Audatex system, which is a repairing process used by most Insurance and vehicle rental companies in the UK. Audatex uses manufacture-based times for removal and refitting of parts as well as automatically generating the paint time and labour for panels. This means this is a standard repair estimating system across the UK.
I would still welcome the chance to look into the concerns raised and to ensure that what we have charged you is accurate, but with the information supplied I am unable to find any details for your hire. I would ask that you please get in touch so I can investigate.

Pointless rental opportunities hundreds of miles away
Emails from Northgate- Inverness who are keen to rent us cars but we are 250 miles away, so unlikely to visit or use. Suspect they think we are someone else.

I am really sorry to hear that we were unable to supply the vehicle that you required. At present we are working hard to source many customers vehicles which are all in such high demand and find it very disappointing when we are unable to fulfil a request.

Great Service
I have a long-term rental agreement on a van with Northgate. Unfortunately, at only a few weeks old, the vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision which resulted in total loss. Being an integral part of my business, I needed a replacement ASAP. My contract manager, Paul Phillips, was straight on the case and within a few days had me back in the road with a "loan vehicle". Given the current national shortage of vans, both new and second hand, we were not sure when a replacement would be sourced. Give Paul his due, he provided me with a replacement today, against all odds. Very happy customer.
Great service from Paul and his team at Northgate, professional, supportive and totally committed to customer requirements.
