But while our designs are a huge part of who we are, ‘the why’ and ‘the how’ almost matter more than ‘the what’. It’s easy to tell you what we do, it’s harder to explain why. Quality of furniture is excellent, staff are great but you do have to wait a long time for curtains / curtain poles.

Lovely evening last night for Emma…
Lovely evening last night for Emma Sims-hilditch book launch. It was fabulous. A really interesting talk by Emma alongside Giles (from Country Life) and great photos to accompany the talk (although the TV was set a bit low so it difficult for those at the back to see the pictures clearly) The book The evolution of home is beautiful with amazing photos. I can’t wait to find time to sit and go through it. It’s got pride of place on my coffee table.
It was great to chat to Emma and have the opportunity to ask questions too. The staff were all lovely and friendly and the canapés absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be eating at Neptune next time we’re in Bath.
And to top it all a lovely goodie bag to go home with

Interior Design delivery was superb
Interior Design delivery was superb. Annabel came and dressed my room and the two delivery drivers carefully unpacked the furniture and placed it according to the floor plan that Annabel has designed.
Lovely furniture, excellent build quality and we're delighted with the result. Would definitely use again. We'd already decided which furniture we wanted but used the design service to give us a different, professional viewpoint. The money for that consultation came off the order so it was a free service in essence. And Annabel made some changes to our original thoughts and she was absolutely right. Plus she was gorgeous! Absolutely fantastic
I have just finished a 4 week (every weds night) Art course with a very talented, lovely local artist Miranda Carter. Neptune @Bath hosted this course which was a stunning, warm and ideal venue for the class. Neptune were fantastic hosts supplying drinks and snacks and always being friendly and welcoming. I cannot rate this course, venue and teacher highly enough and look forward to participating in anymore they should do!

Art class with Miranda Carter at Neptune. Absolutely fantastic, so creative, easy to follow, great results! Really enjoyed the relaxation of creating art in such a lovely setting. Miranda was on hand to help but also allowed us to explore our own ideas. Thankyou!

Bar stools 5*, Delivery 3*
The bar stools we bought were expensive but fantastic quality and very comfortable (5*). The length of time from purchase (early June) to delivery (November) was terrible (3*). They originally said September and then delay, delay, delay. The first day they didn’t tell us about until we called up. To take over £2k knowing they wouldn’t deliver isn’t good. Better to take a deposit and rest due on delivery.

Thank you for your review, I have had a look into the order to see what happened and why your items were delayed in reaching you. I can see the order was placed on 8th July, and as the items were tailored took several weeks to make to your exacting specifications. Our tailored items do normally take around 12 weeks to process. We do ask for the full amount at time of purchase on non-standard items as they are tailored specifically for you and cannot then be resold should you no longer want them.
Unfortunately, we did experience some unexpected container delays when China went back into lockdown in September, so I apologise that you have experienced a longer than normal delay. I do hope you are enjoying your new bar stools, and we look forward to seeing you in store again soon.

the kitchen cabinet is absolutely beautiful and excellent quality. the designer and staff, kitchen fitter and delivery are very caring and helpful. they shared useful ideas to enhance my kitchen. I would like to say something for delivery, the packaging is not easy fir delivery team to move but they are very careful and professional. thanks a lot.

Buying Fabrics
Although friendly, staff were not confident in proving information I needed when ordering fabrics. Perhaps they were new and needed more training. I hope this is helpful.

Very happy, the service everyone was wonderfully attentive. It took a long time before the furniture was delivered however.

This is good paint that applies well .
This is good paint that applies well . Very good range of colours and swatches and trial pots available . It is expensive however .
Bath shop was very obliging in person and on the phone .
I do think that a delivery period of 7 to 10 days is far too long . Most people want paint quickly once a decision is made .
