We booked a removal from Germany to the UK and especially appreciated the extremely responsive way it was dealt with. For example, when it turned out that the original service of one van booked might be too small, MCR made it possible to switch to a two-van service almost at the last minute. When contacted via e-mail, we regularly received responses more or less within minutes, and navigating through the post-Brexit customs formalities became much less of a nightmare than we had expected. In particular, Sylwia's assistance at the office was impeccable. On the day when our goods were to be picked up one of the two vans unfortunately broke down on the way out to us, but Sylwia organised a replacement within two hours or so! (And having seen the other van, I should stress that the vans are not in a bad condition at all; so this problem was really unforeseeable.) All in all, we were very pleased to receive such excellent service for a most reasonable price!

Great team from booking services to unloading. Fast to answer any queries, helpful at every step. And last but not least, very reliable!

Sylwia was knowledgeable and communicative and made a stressful time much easier. Our driver Thomasz delivered our goods from Germany to the UK, and was courteous, polite and professional. We are very happy with MCR and would recommend!!

Amazing customer service and prompt pickup/drop off within the times given. Really came to our rescue to deliver our suitcases from the UK to Paris urgently but still at low cost! Just wish we found snd phoned this company first, we rang many before and no one could even help at short notice! Definitely will recommend and use again!!

We were a little daunted by out move from London to Rome. We didn't need to be! MyCheapRemovals helped us every step of the way and I was beyond impressed by their professionalism and their patience in replying to all our questions. (and there were many!) Sylwia was a star in taking us by the hand through everything that needed to be done. If you are considering using this company, you will find that their price is highly competitive. But don't let the 'cheap' influence you....they are one of the best companies, across my busy life, that I have worked with. Yes, they were that good!

MCR's support was stellar from day one. Sylwia guided us through the UK border procedure step-by-step and was very flexible when we asked to bring the move forward by a couple of days. The driver showed up on time and arrived on time at destination.

Faultless! I had to change my moving date with few days of notice due to changing COVID travel regulations, and MCR booked a slot for me with no issue. The driver was friendly and on time, flexible and helpful. Our things got here in one piece and within 24 hours. The driver emptied the van himself to prevent my mother from having to lift a finger! I couldn't recommend it more, and not only because you'll hardly find a removal service this cheap. Thank you MCR!

Absolutely amazing. Cannot praise this company enough, they could not do enough to help with move at short notice(due to original people booked pulling out at last minute) excellent price for 1.5ton load from Wales to Brittany, arrived at destination day after collection safe & sound. Use mycheapremovals (MCR) only if:
- you have no valuable, delicate or precious furniture or items that you cannot completely and safely cover or box - they won't do this for you;
- you have fully boxed everything and do not have too much to load;
- you need nothing more than a cheap A to B removal service.

Do NOT use MCR if:
- you have carefully arranged plans that are dependent on punctuality
- you care about customer service on the day of your move and during transit
- you are adversely affected by last minute changes to pre-agreed times and failures to arrive at pre-agreed times
- you need help with loading and unloading.

Without going into all the detail as Trustpilot won't give me the space, MCR turned up over four hours later than an agreed time (after also changing our original pre-agreed pick up time just 2 days before the move) and strung us along the whole time, for example telling me the driver was 30 minutes away when he wasn't even on his way. The late arrival meant we suffered all kinds of losses the company refused any compensation for. MCR, if you can't make the agreed time, don't agree it in the first place!

The discussion about changing times occurred because of MCR needing to make additional deliveries on a day when they had agreed weeks before to provide us with an exclusive van and pre-agreed the pick up time of 10am. They did not deliver this promise and instead sold use of our van to other customers and double booked it.

Learn how to manage your customer's requirements and deliver what you sell. Also, don't blame your customers for your own decisions and bad planning.

After the pick up experience I felt it a miracle that our things turned up at the destination (even though communication was virtually non-existent), but our sofa was filthy because of the dirty van and no attempt had been made by the driver to keep it off the dirty floor of the van. We had tried to wrap it and clearly it needed to be protected from the floor but the driver didn't realise this or care enough. So a much loved £700 sofa will never be the same again. Loading and unloading would have been impossible without the help we hired so calculate this into your costs when comparing to other providers. MCR won't be as "cheap" as you think!

The very fact that MCR attempted to blame us for their choices to use our van for other deliveries the same day as our house move, imposing new times on us and their inability to arrive on time just shows you that if anything goes wrong don't expect them to care or help you out. They also refused any kind of discount and denied any responsibility despite the losses we suffered and for them turning up more than 4 hours later than an agreed time. Think carefully before going with a company called mycheapremovals. In the end, they got our stuff to its destination for a reasonably low price, but they caused us huge amounts of stress and extra costs and we had to do all the hard work and they clearly didn't care about this. I particularly felt the need to write this review because of their defensive and totally unapologetic attitude towards us.

We moved from London to Austria in the summer last year.
We were happy about the price and decided to book the Service after comparing it with a lot of other moving companies.

Our schedule was fairly tight so we told them that they need to pick our stuff up before 12pm on the moving date as we had to catch a flight in the afternoon.
The lady on the telephone was super helpful and arranged to send a different transporter when our original driver got stuck in traffic and couldn't make it in time. At that point we were very happy.
We loaded our stuff onto the truck, secured everything nicely and sent the driver off.

When our things arrived in Austria we saw that ALL ITEMS WERE DAMAGED!!! It turned out that the driver unloaded our stuff in a car park and loaded it onto another transporter as they had different routes planned. They didn't seem to care about our furniture at all and put heavy furniture onto delicate items.

When it arrived in Austria all our furniture had scratches, our matresses were dirty and stained, the guitar was broken and our toolbox (which was very much needed in the new flat) went missing (maybe someone thought it would be good to keep it...) .

The insurance only paid us 250€ for it all - which is nowhere near the value we lost! Even after explaining that we are not happy with the compensation they turned us down.

Would advise to chose a different moving company to avoid the bad service!

We moved from London, UK, to Berlin, Germany in January 2021 (yes, during a global pandemic).
After another company cancelled on us 10 days prior to the moving date, we were super desperate. When we found Mycheapremovals we were put off by some bad reviews talking about drivers being late, items being broken, etc. and thought to ourselves: this is too cheap to be good.
However, I can happily say that everything went incredibly well and we were extremely happy with the service!
The prices are competitive, yes. But don't let that fool you! The customer service was friendly on the phone and answered all of our questions; their website is informative too. With certain volume & weight booked come certain things to keep in mind - with 15m3 we got to pick the pickup and the delivery date and didn't need to share the empty space with anyone else.
The van was in fantastic condition and the driver knew what he was doing. They had everything you'd want for a move and he packed everything securely for us. Both pickup and delivery was right on time, everything arrived in a fantastic condition.
I can highly recommend MyCheapRemovals, and we're very grateful to them for being reliable even with such short notice.

I am very happy to have used My Cheap Removals for my move from Scotland to France. It was very affordable, everything arrived (which has not been my experience with previous moves between countries) and Andrzej was very helpful, friendly and punctual on both ends of the trip.

I booked this company as I was relocating to France. They quoted me a very good price with a £50 discount included. There was a slight delay in collecting my boxes and also a delay in when I was receiving them in France. However the company informed me of everything as it happened and were very apologetic for this. I received my boxes a day later than planned however, the delivery driver was very kind and unloaded all the boxes swiftly and efficiently. Despite these delays I would recommend this company as my boxes arrived in the same condition I left them in and with no damage. They offer very competitive prices and I would use them again.
