A good and responsive company
I've been a customer of this company for over 5 years, they are a good efficient company with a human touch. I'm not good with admin or responding to emails in a timely manner, however the staff at More Than Accountants have lived up to their name and supported me through good and bad times. I'd particularly like to mention Mohtashim and Fatir who have walked me through submission of my accounts and given me the best advice. I'd recommend this company to all business owners particularly those that sometimes need a helping hand with their admin!!

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with this accountancy. I deeply regret dealing with them. Stay clear. You will regret it. I had to close one of my companies due to there harassment, stress and demanding payments daily via email phone. Whenever i asked for something to do with accounting they will say we will let you know. I have had to paid fines and another demand from Companies house yet they still wont do my accounts the worst thing is my company is dormant. Terrible organisation.

Got my corporation tax over 6000GBP wrong
This law form got my corporation tax 6000GBP wrong despite me providing them with a summary of the figures and final calculations.
I was given a so-called accountant that could not speak English to the point I could not understand him, whom I suspected was not even in the UK.
I thus considered them in breach of contract so informed them that I would not be using them again. That was well over two years ago.
They continued to assume they were still working for me despite me booting them off the government site as my agent. They have amassed a very large debt ever since on the premise that I was still using them which I clearly wasn't, insofar as once you have reclaimed all your direct debits, that should be enough to tell a firm that they are sacked!
I hope this review will get a reply so someone can finally make this firm behave and stop harrasing me.

Genuine helpful support
Working with More Than Accountants has been a genuinely reassuring experience, especially for someone like me who has long felt overwhelmed—even fearful—when it comes to anything related to Accounts and Tax. From the very beginning, their approach was calm, patient, and deeply understanding. There was never a sense of judgment or pressure, only a steady willingness to meet me where I was and guide me forward at a pace I could manage.
What stood out most was their ability to explain things clearly and simply, without making me feel inadequate for not already knowing. They took the time to break down concepts, answer every question (no matter how small), and check in to make sure I was comfortable and following along. That kind of patience is rare, and it made a real difference in helping me build confidence.
More Than Accountants don’t just provide a service—they offer genuine support. They understand that for many people, accounts can feel intimidating, and they actively work to remove that fear. Thanks to them, something that once felt stressful and confusing now feels manageable and far less daunting. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, especially those who feel unsure or anxious about financial matters.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. It genuinely means a great deal to us.
We completely understand how overwhelming accounts and tax can feel, so it is incredibly rewarding to hear that you have felt supported, reassured, and never under pressure. Creating a calm, judgment free environment where you can ask questions and build confidence at your own pace is exactly what we strive for.
It is especially lovely to hear that the way things have been explained has helped make everything feel clearer and more manageable. That shift from feeling unsure to feeling in control is exactly the journey we aim to take our clients on.
Thank you again for your kind words and for trusting us to support you.
