Appalled by the attitude of this company towards collecting the medical equipment from my dad’s house after he passed away. I was given a 4 hour timeslot, I advised I couldn’t wait in that long plus I didn’t want to stay waiting in the house my dad died in, they would not give me a call when the driver was near and when I got to my dads I was told by someone who was there that the van had turned up decided they couldn’t park and just left.
The lack of empathy and communication is shocking.
I would say that medequip connect were good, they did call me when they were nearby and the driver was very helpful with telling me how to disconnect the care line. So I don’t understand how one company can call and one cannot.

First of all they never gave me any notice bar 12 minutes to tell me about the delivery which was useless as we live over 45 minutes away from my mum's house.
We were told that we could have a pm delivery and to phone back at 930 this morning to give me more details i did this only to be told the delivery was between 9 and 11 this morning and I couldn't get there in time.
Brandon delivered hospital bed
Brandon delivered hospital style bed, set it all up & showed us how to safely and correctly use the remote control. He was very cheerful, polite & friendly. Definitely a credit to the medequip company, and that's why I gave the 5 stars, if you could give more I would have done.
Toxic culture
Toxic culture, poor management, and lack of support for employees.
The company’s internal communication is poor, grievances are ignored, and the culture feels punitive rather than supportive. Staff wellbeing does not appear to be a priority, and there is little respect for established employment law protections.
I cannot recommend Medequip as an employer. If you value a respectful, supportive, and law-abiding workplace, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Driver dropped of my over bed table never corrected the wright hight for me i am 74years old when i checked it had food crumbs on table i am waiting for them to give me a day to pick it up.
I will buy a new table and will not have anything from them they are cowboy outfit why is NHS waisting tax payers money back street traders.

Received a text earlier today to say that the bed my Mum had, would be collected between 09:30 and 13:30 today.
Sat around my Mum's from 09:15. No updates received throughout the morning.
Called the Customer Service team around 13:15 asking for an update, to be told, the technician must be stuck in traffic and the driver has another 2 x appointments before me. I said it would have been appreciated if someone from Medequip had given me an update, rather than me chase them.
I asked to speak to the Manager, who returned my call @ 14:00 to say that I was next on the list.
Providing good customer service is paramount for any respectable business to be successful, surely.

Avoid at all costs if possible.
Must surely be the worst company going, they never meet there delivery deadlines if they come at all when they arranged to. They have no regard for the vulnerable people they are supposed to help. Been let down by them on numerous occasions I am shocked as to why local NHS healthcare trusts use them. If possible try and find a company that wants and values the welfare of the people they are supposed to serve, in my case a 87 year old bedridden mother.

Waiting three weeks for bed to be collected. Five weeks total.
Bed never used. Woman said to me no pick ups for at least 2 weeks. I told her Im dumping the bed & her reply was to go ahead & dump it as they have no record of who has what!
NHS seriously want this business dealing with this? Crazy.
Pathetic service
Booking for collection of bed and numerous items, waited 2 weeks time slot cancelled, this company must get a grip on collecting items in a timely manner, my 89 year old mother is sat staring at this lot after losing her husband very distressing, the only thing they got right was delivery was on time, you cannot run a business in this manner and causing undo stress to members of the public who are already at there lowest PBK
Horrible experience
Leaving a bed in a bereaved persons lounge for 9 days is totally unacceptable. Then they turn up with no contact at all from office. Lucky I was in. Ladies on phone most unhelpful and unsympathetic.
Delivery and collection drivers it would appear are just as frustrated as us public, although were very pleasant.
Overall, awful company!
Appalling Customer Care
I needed my late fathers bed & other equipment collecting. My 4 hour time slot came and went. Many calls to Medequip - fobbed off, lied to, no empathy- told next on list etc. 10 hours spent waiting with no communication. Had to leave at 8.30pm as I do not live in the same county. Told to call in morning by the out of hours staff as managers would be available- no joy. Their system said no room on van the next day- which I was not told! No text, call etc. Warwickshire Council need to rethink this contact - previous providers far superior.
Caused problems don't deal withnit
This company recently sent me 2 invoices fir a total of 6 months for monitoring and response that's a laugh never contact me ince a month as they say if they don't hear from you never since they took over
I email them to say I can't afford to pay to invoices because they sent an adjoining letter saying they have had problems with there invoicing system
So last Friday get a call saying actually owe for 3 invoice going back 9 months which they haven't chased up
Had equipment taken away as not stuck to there said off things but was told would be charged until theh get equipment bsck
Found anbemail for there ceo 4 emails no response no call thrn find emails for 2 other people that are ceo don't make sense emailed no response
I find out that it should only be £60 a quarter there have Bern chaging me £80.73 a quarter for around a year
Tried 3 different numbers for head office just disconnects you or say try this number
Then yesterday rang barnet medequip got the managers emsil address so email him as of 3.27 pm today Thursday 24th July 2025 no response
How many others have they done this to with fall alarms
Made me severely ill flared up my ibs no sleep stressed anxiety snd worried
Most if there customers veils be on benefits where do they think they will get the money from saying you can pay in installments complete insult
When whoever rang last Friday said we have had problems with our invoices system and when I Brough up about contacting people once a month said we are short on staff
They don't answer phone calls ir respond to emails
Now got stres and worry about debt collectors calling from a problem thry have caused

Dog sh1t service! 2 young lads delivered a mattress system to my elderly mother who's bed bound due to sepsis... not only did they damage the paint but the mattress had broken valve and cells!

No show delivery - rude and unhelpful customer service
We are waiting for a delivery of a bed for my Nan who is on palliative care and cannot be discharged from hospital to be with us until the bed is delivered. This was supposed to come today and did not turn up within the delivery window. I contacted them shortly after the time window and spoke to the most abrupt and unhelpful person I have ever come across in a customer service role (Essex branch).
I was simply told they would not help as their systems were down and offered nothing else to help. Two hours later when delivery had still not taken place, I called again and unfortunately spoke to the same individual. They refused to help in any way, shape or form. I asked if they could not even contact a driver (as I’ve been given their name) and was told no they can’t help without the computer system. I asked if there was an eta for this to be fixed, and was just met with blunt answers such as “no” “I can’t help you”. To not even offer to take contact details to contact customers back when their system were back up and running is just outrageous. I fail to believe they don’t have any way of contacting their drivers without a computer system.
The lack of empathy or care from the customer service representative was appalling to say the least, especially working for a company that will clearly be dealing with families going through really upsetting times.
The fact they describe their customer service team on their website as “friendly” is wholly inaccurate.

Didn’t turn up. I had to chase, like other reviews say, no phone call forthcoming.
Informing on the supposed day of collection is a farce.

4 hour window dispute
My only dispute is 4 hour window for delivery & they text at 8.15 for a delivery between 9.15am & 13.15 & they can't phone when your their next call to alert you they're on their way so when you're looking after elderly parents in a different house & you're working yourself it's not practical to go & sit & wait for a possible 4 hours!
The actual delivery last time went smoothly & thankfully we had another member of the family that was happy to go & sit at the house & wait but not everyone is that lucky.
