I wanted to change, the date, that my direct debit went out of my bank account, to Moorcroft Recovery, and bring it forward. So, I rang them up, and after going through some checks, on the automated system, I was put on hold, for a short while. Then, I was connected to an advisor. He checked my identity details, and asked me, why I was calling. I explained, and it was okay with him, to do the change, so he took me through the process, of getting the direct debit date, changed. He was professional, efficient, and polite, and explained everything to me. He also checked my outgoings, and my budget, which was thoughtful, and patient, of him, to help make sure, that I could still afford to pay, the direct debit amount, I was paying. He explained to me, that I could get a free budget check, done, if I was struggling, to cope, with all my outgoings, which was also good, of him. The whole experience was smooth, and thorough. Thank you very much, for your excellent service.

The adviser I spoke to was very knowledgeable, helpful and wanted to help solve my problem. She listened to me and advised me the best way to solve my problem. A very pleasant and professional telephone call which solved my problem

This company is absolutely shocking. They failed to take a direct debit payment. I called them up to correct this. I was assured everything was sorted and my payments would go out. They never took the payments, slapped my credit score with a defaults. When contacting about this, the customer service team attempted to gas light me by saying I never contacted them and got this sorted. I assured them I had (I used the phone number from a letter I received from them). Disgusting, you have seriously affected me, even though I tried in good faith to sort this out prior.
*Edit* according to their response they really did try to reach out. This is false. The phone rang once so they could log it as an attempt to contact and immediately hung up.

From the initial contact Moorcroft have been very supportive. I have spoken to several Members of the team, each and every time they have all been very professional, curtious and respectful
They have all been very helpful and have proactively listened effectively. No hard sell whatsoever.
Throughout the initial contact we were able to set up a workable repayment schedule and Moorcroft set up the Direct Debit at the agreed amount and the payments commenced on the date has agreed.
When I requested a copy of the administration or balance of the amount outstanding Moorcroft Staff responded positively and processed what I requested. I received these through the post within a reasonably satisfactory timeframe.
Moorcroft have always treated me like a Human Being and secured my dignity at all times.
As I am now coming to the final payment of which there has never been a break from the schedule, I would like to thank all of the Moorcroft staff for an excellent job well done...
Respect Moorcroft...
The whole team need to be proud of their traditional values and for the highest Customer Service at all times.. God bless you all..

I Would like to say ,a big thank you to all moorcroft staff I have spoke to over the phone.
They have all been very understanding towards my situations.
Very polite,caring .
They talked me through how they could help me,and we arranged a plan for me.
So again thank you Moorcroft for a 5 star 🌟 service.

Phone call out of the blue about a "Private Matter". Wanted to confirm some personal details to pass "security" yet when challenged who they were they couldnt discuss anything with me. Do these companies honestly believe that members of the public are going to give them personal details over the phone to pass their security? They couldn't even tell me who they were or what their company is about and yet expect me to give out my home address etc
Now that i have done a goolge search on them it turns out to be a debt recovery company but what debt do i have? Couldnt even tell me that. terrible company

I received an e-mail from Moorcroft asking me to contact them regarding some money I owe. It was a pleasant e-mail telling me that, working with them, I could get the debt paid. I contacted them and spoke to Lily. Lily was understanding and did not make me feel embarrassed but explained what we could do going forward to clear my debt. After filling an incoming and outgoing income form we decided how much I can pay monthly till the debt is clear. A repayment plan was set up via direct debit(there is other ways you can get your money to them so just ask). It’s such a relief ,please don’t be embarrassed just talk to Moorcroft they are very understanding and very approachable.
