Stökig process men bra priser. Hade ett eSIM som strulade. Först i kontakt med en medarbetare på kundtjänst som rörde till det ytterligare. Ringde tillbaka efter en stund och pratade med en Madeleine (osäker på stavningen), som satt en dryg timme och redde ut problemet. Kunnig, trevlig och lösningsorienterad. Nu funkar det igen! Nöjd kund igen, stort tack till Madde som lyssnade på och hjälpte mig som kund. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don't usually take the time to leave a review but I had a really nice experience this morning getting help from Lycamobile with my eSim. Madeleine helped me get things sorted and I'm glad to say it's all working now. The waiting time was a bit long and I would suggest adding a queue number, but at least the wait was worth it. Tack så mycket! :)

Bought an eSIM from Lyca. Their activation code for the eSIM came 2 hours late before theur downloading QR code. While deleting the eSIM to try a redownload was completely on my end of the fault, I bought the damn thing over 2 weeks ago. Before my old SIM (comviq) expired, I spent nearly a whole week trying to call their hotline every hour or so, with "all agents are busy" BS.
Switched to email and it's just as horrible.
The whole company is a god damn scam at this point

Jag har ett eSIM-kort som behöver flyttas till en ny telefon. eSIM brukade göra livet enklare. Andra operatörer än Lycamobile låter dig göra det själv. Men hos Lycamobile måste du köpa ett nytt eSIM-paket och göra en ny registrering. Sedan måste du ringa kundtjänst och vänta minst en timme för att be dem flytta det gamla numret till det nya. Samtidigt förlorar du avgiften du betalade för det nya paketet.
Kan Lycamobile förbättra detta och låta sina kunder själva byta eSIM? Det skulle inte bara göra livet enklare för kunderna och undvika onödiga kostnader i tid och pengar, utan också minska belastningen på er redan överbelastade kundtjänst.
20251027: Jag fick ett mejl där de bad om mina kontaktuppgifter, men sedan hörde jag aldrig något från Lycamobile. Kundservicen är dessutom väldigt dålig.

Terrible customer service, I ordered an esim, When I installed it, it said error contact customer service. I contacted them and they told me to purchase another plan and then ask for a refund. 4 months later no refund. Plus the billed me twice for the original sim which they told me " was corrupted) as the reasoning behind me purchasing a new plan. The service has been terrible in the London, some days i have no service at all, in the city. The app is faulty as well. I had auto renewal on with my debet card, with way more then enough funds. Well that didn't draft the payment, so now I have no service and between 90 minutes on the chat and 2 hours on phone calls, they tried to blame me and say I didn't have funds (without even asking for my account details) Then the foreign person answering the phone got upset when I asked for a supervisor, When I asked for her name she hung up me. DO NOT CHOOSE LYCA. Choose anyone but LYCAMOBILE.
In response to your email, the auto renewal was never deactivated. I checked the app the day before the renewal to unsure it would be processed. I've emailed that email account twice regarding my issue and still have gotten no refund. I included invoices and emails sent.

I subscribed to a Lycamobile offer that was supposed to cost 99 SEK per month with a lifetime 70% discount, but it turned out to be a scam. Even though I had auto-renewal activated, they somehow stopped my renewal, claiming there was a “payment issue,” which was completely false.
Their customer service is terrible, you can never reach a real person, and they always refer you to their useless AI support, which doesn’t solve anything.
Don’t be fooled by their “special offers”,they’ll find a way to cancel your deal or charge you more later. Stay away from this operator!

I am extremely disappointed with the way my refund request has been handled. On September 20th, I received an email from your team confirming that I would be refunded, and I promptly sent my bank details as requested. However, until today, I have not received any refund or any further updates from your side.
I have tried contacting your support line several times, but it does not work, and I have sent multiple messages without receiving any response. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from a company of your size.
I am simply asking for my rightful refund, and the long delay without communication is causing me great frustration. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life.
I expect an immediate response and confirmation of when my refund will be processed. If I do not hear back, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further.

Warning: Lycamobile is a fraudulent company. They sell an "Unlimited" plan for up to $100 but hide secret limitations like a 5-10 GB hotspot cap, and they throttle your internet speed already at 10 gb usage. Furthermore, their app is completely broken - I can't even log in because the SMS verification never arrives. To add insult to injury, their customer service is useless. Avoid this scam at all costs!!
Ps. Regarding Lyca's response, I just sent an email. I'm hoping to see prompt improvements as according to our 'unlimited' plan.

I purchased a Lyca SIM card on September 22, 2025. During the purchasing process, the screen indicated that I would receive a confirmation email with the shipping information. However, no email was sent. After considerable effort, I managed to contact customer service, and they informed me that it would take 5 to 7 days to receive the SIM card.
Let me share my experience with their customer service. It felt as though the representatives were simply reading solutions from a script, without genuinely addressing the issue. They seemed aware of these recurring problems, which was frustrating. Additionally, they blamed Postnord for the delayed delivery, but when I asked them to confirm whether the SIM card had been posted, they refused to check.
I also came across several reviews stating that transferring a number to Lyca can take more than 30 days. This means that obtaining a number could take over 7 days, and transferring your previous number to Lyca could add another 30 days. Essentially, you could be stuck in a communication gap for up to 37 days just to get a subscription.
Frankly, this makes Lyca Mobile an impractical choice. As of now, I am still waiting for the SIM card and have decided to switch to another provider. I also planned to request a refund.
For anyone reading this review, I strongly advise against purchasing from them. They are the worst operator in Sweden. There are far better and more affordable options available, with excellent customer service.

Normally I don't have an urge to write reviews but this one deserved to be published.
It took the whole month to transfer the number from my old operator so I basically couldn't receive messages. I had to write three emails and call there twice - always with a long wait time.

Jag köpte deras erbjudande om 120 gb och fria samtal för 99 kr. Till att börja med hoppades det inte igång förrän jag lyckades räkna ut att jag behövde registrera mitt "kontantkort". Dvs en felöversättning av simkort eftersom jag hade ett abonnemang. Jag valde att det skulle betalas via autogiro eller om det var efaktura. I appen stod det att förnyelse skulle ske den 23. Den 18 kom ett meddelande om att förnyelse misslyckats. Jag tänkte att det är väl någon förbokning. Den 23 lade abonnemanget data av. Ringde supporten och fick prata med en indier som nästan pratade svenska. Supporten förklarade sedan att jag inte skulle använda appen utan hemsidan. Jag påpekade att det kunde inte jag veta. Vidare skulle jag valt kortbetalning för abonnemanget. Det kunde jag inte heller veta. Pengarna behövde finnas 3 dagar innan fick jag också veta. Jag förklarade tydligt att jag inte var intresserad av orsaken utan ville ha en lösning. Han skrev då ett mail till IT på engelska som han sedan läste upp för mig. Vår konversation var på svenska. Han kunde inte lova någonting och tog exakt 0 ansvar som leverantör. Det var jag som gjort fel (utan att veta vad som är rätt). IT kopplade uppenbarligen bort mig från abonnemangets plan och dealen var borta. Jag tog kontakt med en annan operatör och lämnade dem.

If you buy an esim with only data, you will have a tough time logging in to manage your account.
I accidentally bought an auto-renew bundle and wanted to cancel. But since I don't have a phone number I cannot log into my account on their website, which you can only log into using a Lyca phone number.
I bought it for a week long travel in the UK. And I have to call the UK support to get in touch, they are apparently different from the support I can reach in Sweden.
Instead I sent email to support to cancel renewal and delete my account. It takes them 7+ days to reply and a month in I am still trying to cancel my renewal and delete my account.
Do not use Lycamobile. Absolute trash

Please avoid to all cost, you will really regret joining this operator.
First, it was absurdly complicated to get my e-SIM to work and there was no other way than calling them with my non-Swedish number and so paying insane communication tolls. When my e-SIM finally started working, after a few months it stopped working. I called again (paying 60 euros the communication with my non-Swedish number), to hear an employee tells me that I had no other choice than to rebuy an e-SIM (there is no possiblity to order an e-SIM for free to replace mine so they told me I should buy a new one). I lost so much money because of them. My Swedish e-SIM has been broken for a month now, I missed 3 important healthcare calls and I lost so much money because of them. I wrote them an email so that I can pursue them to ARN (the national board for consumers dispute). I beg you stay away from this company.

Worst onboarding experience so far with a mobile carrier.
Ordered a new number from Lyca on a sunday with a Lyca Fast Pris 85 SEK bundle. Paid and then got a confirmation email. Scanned the QR code for the esim and installed it as per instructions... Since then nothing has worked. First of all I had to go through hoops to se my number. I cannot call out, cannot use data. If I try to call anyone it diverts to Lyca customer care, which after one hour still didnt answer my call.
Tried going to the webpage to see if any additional activation was needed. Didnt receive any email or SMS on anything else that was needed to complete the process. On the sunday I managed to login with a one time SMS sent to my number. I could see my number in there but strangely enough no active subscriptions.
Tried calling costumer care again today no answer after ages.
Tried logging in again today, But the SMS comes after the login timer times out so I am essentially kept out of the webpage.
Tried with the AI bot and it of course could not help me with even the simplest tasks.
Will keep calling everyday but with the time I have already spent activating my number I have no hopes on getting it through to them.
So dear fellow reviewer. Read this and other reviews on Trustpilot and make your own descision if this company is really worth your money and more importantly time.

Got an email yesterday from the SoME team with activation instructions. If someone else is reading this and missing this you need to "Dial *116*45414783# after activating the bundle"
I activated the bundle and now I see my subscription in the app... However I still cannot call, text or use data despite the number being activated.

Got through to CC and they told I needed to go to a webpage to register myself with BankID.
I found the page after some googling but they told my to do it through my phone instead of scanning the QR code on my laptop as I tried earlier and didnt work.
Upgraded the rating to two stars because it works now. But the conclusion still stands

- No info on received per mail/SMS on the number
- No info on received per mail/SMS regarding activation

Billigt men inte värt det. Extremt långsamma hastigheter. Automatiska betalningar "hoppar ur" så man ska få dyrare pris. Support 24/7 sägs det, visst men uppe i 1 månad svarstid idag på mail support och då fick jag bara att ärendet skickas vidare så om problem uppstår räkna med ett par månader att lösa det. Återkommer med total tid.
Man får även en fransk ip adress vilket gör att många tjänster ej fungerar i Sverige vilket är bra att tänka på om man inte använder en VPN. Men med tanke på hastigheterna man får ut, runt från 0,1 - 0,2 Mbit ända upp till 2 - 3 Mbit så rekommenderar jag inte att köra genom en VPN på det. Telenor får jag ut ca 300mbit på samma plats och lyca kör i samma nät men otroligt låg prioritet!
Väldigt krångligt att installera esim kontra andra operatörer och tänk på att det tar npn månad att få svar om man inte löser det själv.
Edit. Som svar på lycas svar, varför kan ni svara här på mindre än 1 dag men vanliga supporten är 1 månad. jag avvaktar och låter er vanliga support sköta de. Ger en ärlig bild på hur er support man faktiskt får tag i sköter ärenden. Tillägg också att detta problem är på 2 olika abonnemang, 1 på samsung 1 på iPhone. Samma problem, samma hastigheter testat från Danmark, södra Sverige ända upp till mellersta Sverige.

This mobile operator is a complete scam. The SIM card was paid for 5 days ago, and I even made a prepayment for 3 months in advance. It is impossible to activate the SIM card because the website just freezes after the BankID notification arrives, which you’re supposed to sign. I contacted customer support, but they simply don’t respond to emails—there is no communication at all. Be careful: they will take your money, and you won’t get it back.

I bought an eSim plan and everything worked. When I stopped needing the eSIM I wanted to delete my account and my plan, but that is just impossible. It's been weeks that I am trying to call the custumer service but they don't answer. Plus all the things explained on the website do not work, and the download of the app is unavailable. I don't really know how I can stop the monthly payments and deactivate my plan offer.

Fick otydliga instruktioner om hur man aktiverar en prisplan på ett esim så jag förlorade ett av prisplanerna jag hade köpt och kunde inte aktivera det någonstans. Var tvungen att köpa en ny och fick ingen hjälp med återbetalning på prisplanen jag inte har kunnat aktivera.
Blev debiterad innan tiden hade utgått på nya prisplanen jag köpte så jag hann inte säga upp den. Kontakta kundtjänst är omöjligt då det konstigt nog alltid är kö på telefon och ingen svarar på mejl. Har väntat på mejlsvar i snart en månad.
