AVOID AT ALL COSTS – A DISHONEST AND AGGRESSIVE CHOP SHOP
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with London Motor Sports Ltd has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish, and I strongly believe they are running a dishonest operation.
I purchased a BMW 1 Series for £5,000. Upon arrival, they told me the water pump needed changing – so I waited 2.5 hours while they did it. Not ideal, but fine. I then drove to visit my mum in Uxbridge (40 mins away). Barely 10 minutes from her house, a loud, violent clattering noise erupted from the engine. I barely made it to her driveway. I had owned the car for just 40 minutes.
I immediately messaged them with videos of the noise – it sounded like the engine was about to blow up. They collected the car a few days later, but then went silent. No updates despite me calling three times, each time being promised a callback that never came.
So my wife and I drove 1.5 hours down there. When we arrived, no one knew what we were talking about. Then Adam appeared – the same person who collected the car – and tried to charge me £150 for collecting the broken car they sold me. He then admitted the auxiliary belt needed replacing, plus other work, and that there was an oil leak they hadn't even noticed.
I requested a full refund under my 14-day consumer rights and the warranty. While waiting outside, another couple approached us – they had overheard and were having the exact same issues. Three separate customers, all on the same bank holiday Monday, all feeling scammed.
Staff were rude and unhelpful. They accused us of being threatening (we were not) and claimed we were losing them customers – the customers were already there complaining about their own cars. They called the police.
When the owner arrived, he got out of his car raging – shouting, screaming, and even tried threatening me. Thankfully the police were present. He then bizarrely claimed we cost him £3,000 in damages and 3 hours of staff wages, and offered just £2,000 of our £5,000 back. We refused.
A note on Trustpilot reviews: I strongly suggest you also check their reviews on Google. I do not believe the 5-star ratings on here are genuine. They look like they've been left by friends, family, and friends of friends to hide the truth. Real customer experiences tell a very different story.
I have now reported this company to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice. We have a legal team ready. A formal letter has been sent.
To anyone reading this: DO NOT BUY FROM OR WORK WITH LONDON MOTOR SPORTS LTD. You will be scammed, overcharged, or sold a dangerously faulty car. This place needs shutting down. If you've been wronged by them, please report them to Trading Standards immediately.

They don’t do MOT test, they outsource it to another garage. They wasted me two mornings with their miscommunications as they could not complete the job. Not professional, not honest.
