RIP off
RIP off! They work at a snails space , disappear for breaks , take twice as long to reach the destination for unloading. If you complain they lie and say there were issues with parking! In my case there was no need to park on yellow lines at drop off or removal as I had saved them parking spaces!! But they used this excuse to justify the double length of time charged . Spend your money on a professional removal firm or be prepared to do most of the actual moving yourself in order not to be charged double.

Absolute legends
Absolute legends. Super quick on packing everything, none of my stuff got damaged in transit, super quick to unpack as well. Drive over was smooth and they were a good time to chat to on the way!
Can't recommend them enough. Next time I need to move I'll definitely be using them.

Very friendly movers, extremely efficient and quick to move my large furnitures and boxes, while also being careful with fragile items and plants. They definitely made the moving process less stressful for us!

Have not refunded parking fine deposit. Have not replied to any communications about this. Have waited 2 months. Still ignoring me. Unacceptable service and clearly a deliberate scam to get a few extra £.

I’ve used LMV before and Recommend Them Again
I’ve used LMV before and picked them out again when the dreaded need to move arose again as that was a good experience.
Booking and arranging the new move through the website and using the forms was without issue. Paying a deposit and then the remaining balance later during the move just felt less ‘risky’.
My movers this time were Wojtek and Mat - they were great - good communication on their arrival time, they were eager to get the job done promptly, were sociable and respectful with me and the property. They got the job done and without issue.
Really recommend LMV and especially Wojtek and Mat who were good guys, dzięki guys!

Wojtek and Mat were excellent
Wojtek and Mat were excellent, arriving very punctually and getting straight to work. They worked with an awkwardly shaped flat in a converted building and handled everything with care.
Both very polite and friendly, excellent service would one hundred percent recommend LMV 😊

Beware vans that are not big enough for a house move!
We booked a move through a company called Peterborough Removals but the receipt was from London Man Van. We booked the largest van on their website and paid £1,136. The van was not large enough for our possessions which are not excessive by any means. At least 1/4 of our belongings were left in our garage! The company offered us 15% off a 2nd van hire to complete the job! So stressful & we have had to hire a self drive van to go back, over 100 miles, to collect the rest. What a disaster.

Parking fine deposit not returned
I used LMV’s services in July when I was moving out of my flat in London. I was satisfied with the service on the day. However, I had paid an upfront parking fine deposit because I lived on a main road, and since then my multiple attempts to get my deposit back have been ignored (I have received no indication, let alone evidence, that they were fined). I have called LMV numerous times and on all but one occasion nobody has picked up the phone. On Monday someone eventually did answer but told me they could only pass on a message as this wasn’t their remit. I explained the problem and passed on my contact information but had to ask to leave my order number so that my case could be identified, which didn’t give me much faith that I was being taken seriously. As expected, nobody has come back to me. I have also emailed countless times; not a single one of my emails has been responded too. Out of desperation I contacted the driver who undertook my move (who was a very nice, professional man), and he kindly responded to reassure me that he was sure I’d get my money back; however, that was on 6th October and I’ve still not received any form of response to my enquiries. At this point, four months on from my move, I can only assume I am being intentionally ignored in the hope that I will go away and LMV can keep hold of my money - I am not willing to let that happen.
Update 30/11/23 - after sending many emails and ringing multiple times, I have now received my refund for the parking fine deposit. It’s a shame because the service was really good on the day, but the amount of time and effort taken to get it back marred my experience.

Everything went smoothly
Easy booking! Fast, efficient and polite movers. Used this company for the first time on the 2023-10-24 for our office move in Central London.
Movers were running a bit late (30 mins) but they gave a ring in the morning and politely explained the situation. No drama!
I recommend their services and will use them again - 5 stars service.
