Great experience with LMV. I booked only a few days in advance, got very nice help over the phone with my reservation, and had a fantastic experience with Casper and Kahn with the move.

Used London Man Van just over a week…
Used London Man Van just over a week ago for the first time. I'll start with the positives:
1) The movers were kind and helpful in packing.
2) For the items they unloaded into my house, they were helpful to carry heavier items including the top floor of my house. But, of course, that's part of the service you pay for - so I'd expect no less.
Negatives:
1) Left several items unpacked and not loaded at pickup address.
2) Did not have proper parking arrangement during the loading at the pickup address. They were concerned with the unlocked van's security as they carried items from the property into their van. They had to ask my brother to go sit with the van while they carried items to the van - leaving my mother alone helping the 2 men at the property.
3) Insurance add-on a scam - one of my items (an electric scooter that costs £600) was packed by the men and loaded into the van. This was not unloaded at the drop-off property. However, after unpacking all the contents at the drop-off property, we realised the scooter was not unloaded. Upon raising this with the LMV company, they responded the following:
"We’ve spoken with the driver, and according to his report, the electric scooter was unloaded at the delivery address and placed by the wall in front of the property. It was already dark at the time of unloading, so it’s possible the item was not taken inside immediately.
Please note that any missing or damaged items must be reported on the same day of the service. In this case, more than four days have passed since the move was completed, which unfortunately makes it very difficult for us to investigate further or take responsibility for the item.
As the scooter appears to have gone missing after being unloaded, we kindly recommend that you report this matter to the local police for further investigation."
- Firstly, I don't have a wall in front of my house. I have a fence in front of it.
- Secondly, it's hard to believe that the men would not have brought the scooter beyond the fence into my home - the fence is less than 2 meters from my front door!
- Thirdly, I watched the men unload the van and checked that nothing was left outside the front right up until they left.
- Fourth, their excuse also conveys that they did not do their job that I paid for which was to unload all contents into my property. If they believe they left the scooter out in front of a wall in front of my property, it means they technically left on the sidewalk. That means it was NOT unloaded into my property and left it out on the street.
- I tried to explain all of this to the customer service lady Paulina over the phone and over email, but the company continued to side with the moving men. And despite me pointing out that I paid for insurance, they used their terrible t&c's to rid them of any responsibility.
This was a very upsetting experience and it wasn't cheap. I could've just done it with AnyVan and paid several 100s less. And at least their terms are a bit more reasonable and supportive for the customer as opposed to the scam-like policies that LMV used to protect themselves against any issue raised about them.

Your move took place on 24/10/2025, and as part of our standard procedure, our office contacted you the next day to complete a service report and ensure everything had gone well. During this call, you confirmed that you were fully satisfied with the service provided and no missing items were reported, including the electric scooter.
The first time we were informed about the missing scooter was on 5 November. According to our terms and conditions, any missing or damaged items must be reported on the same day of the service, as this allows us to investigate effectively while the team is still on-site or nearby. Reporting the issue 12 days later unfortunately falls outside the time frame in which we can take responsibility or carry out a meaningful investigation.
After speaking with the moving team, the driver confirmed that the electric scooter was unloaded at your address and left leaning against a post at the front of the property during handover. The unloading was completed after dark, and the team recall saying goodbye while the scooter was still in that position.
We fully understand your frustration, and losing an item is always upsetting, but based on the timing of the report and the information available from both the team and our follow-up call, we were unable to conclude that the item went missing while in our care.
Our customer service team, including Paulina, did their best to explain this to you based on the documentation and the contractual terms agreed prior to the move.
We sincerely regret that this situation has caused disappointment, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our communication and service processes.

Fantastic timely service
Fantastic timely service; removed a heavy three-seater sofa downstairs from the second floor, plus large TV, heavy rug, and various other items. They checked with us for everything. No complaints from either of the two-man team when waiting time was prolonged outside our control. Even when we went beyond the two-hour booked slot, they were transparent that we were going over time and we advised of the extra charge. Despite having another removals booked after us, they didn't push us: just worked at a steady pace and got the job done. A big thank you to the team! Top of our list for next removals.

Not recommended
We hired London Man Van for moving, unfortunately things were less than ideal. First they damaged brand new large painting canvas, they took a photo of it inside the van and claimed that it was already damaged which is ridiculous. Of course at that point in time, they had all of our items loaded in the van so we couldn't really get into an argument with them while they have our stuff and still need to do the unloading.
Additionally, workers asked to use the toilet, we said yes - big mistake. Bathroom was left horrible dirty and water was all over the place - clearly some kind of ritual washing took place in the sink and they just left a mess with dirt and water all over the place.
Would never hire them again but I'll give them this - majority of items were moved correctly without damage and also work was charged honestly - hourly rate was provided upfront and workers were working hard and didn't dawdle around, hence 2 stars.

Efficient Service
The driver and assistant arrived promptly and effectively and worked out how to proceed with a bulky heavy chair through a narrow hallway. Staff were polite and friendly with good customer care. We would definitely use again.

Great service from our removal guys
Great service from our removal guys. They worked hard and efficiently and were very helpful and accommodating. Even were happy to move 13 large potted plants and lots of paving slabs! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

The perfect move
We moved house yesterday and Wojtek arrived with his partner and provided 10/10 service. We were nervous about the amount of stuff we had but they packed everything nicely and found a way to collect all of our stuff including quite heavy items. They carefully unloaded our stuff at the new property and really took care of priceless family heirlooms. We would 100% recommend them if you need movers to help you.

Excellent removal company
We recently used LMV Transport to move the contents of our flat within Enfield. (We had used them 18 months ago and had been very happy with the service we received). Movers turned up 2hrs 30mins late
Movers turned up 2hrs 30mins late - I had to call twice before I got any answers. I was told two different stories which made me feel I was being mis-lead. I understand things happen and I would have been more sympathetic if I hadn't had to do all the chasing. That being said when the guys finally showed up they were pleasant and did the job politely and swiftly. This was by no means a difficult job, I paid in advance, which I wouldn't do again. I feel they were less attentive as the money was already in the bank!

Consistently reliable top class service
This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve used LMV and once again the service was 5* Sebastian and his team turned up right on time and quickly got to work. They always go the extra mile and are careful and considerate when moving treasured items. Finding solutions to getting tricky pieces of furniture in and out of tight spaces. Friendly service all round, from the booking office to the movers on the day.
I did have to pay for an extra hour, which was £90 but this was stipulated at point of booking.
I highly recommend this company.

Amazing service from Maciej and Ali
Maciej & Ali did a superb job! The quote/booking was easy with loads of timeslot to choose even with only a few days in advance. The company will call after the quote to follow up and answer any questions. The driver and porter arrived sharp on time, came in to inspect the things to move before starting the loading, explained the process very thoroughly. The loading was super efficient and done professionally to the truck. Photos taken before driving to the destination. The ride was smooth though with lots of traffic but its no fault of the driver and the company. The driver drove the truck with one of the best manner I have seen - giving ways when he can without delaying the ride. Once arrived at the destination, both the driver and porter came up to the apartment for inspection and started off loading the things from the truck. I asked for a quote for 2.5 hrs and they finished that spot on time. We cannot thank them enough for their hard and professional work. If I ever need removal service again, I sincerely hope I can use the service from Maciej and Ali again.

Fantastic move from quote, booking and move.
We moved this weekend so we can renovate and Wojtek and his parter were fantastic! A dream move. Couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be using LMV when we move back and I’ll even see if Wojtek could help us again. We had to make a few changes the day before and it was a breeze dealing with LMV over what’s app. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service, couldn’t ask for better!
The service was top quality. Wojtek and his colleague not only moved all my furniture down a tricky flight of stairs without any damage to them but also offered to fix my desk that hadn’t originally been assembled properly and came slightly loose when being carried. Now the desk is properly assembled and won’t get damaged if being moved again. Highly recommend LMV!

Top quality service!
Despite our move being quite last minute LMV were really helpful and accommodating. Wojtek and Ali were both really fantastic, on the day they were calm, collected and quick.
They managed to fit complete our move really quickly with minimal fuss and even managed to help us get our sofa out that we thought we were going to have to leave behind.
They were kind and friendly during a time of high stress and we couldn’t have asked for better service!
