Great service throughout my shopping experience. Part exchange was really straightforward and good price given for my old camera.
Picked up my 'new to me' camera and fantastic service and knowledge from Lauren when going through it with me.
So refreshing to see some real customer focus at the Colchester store.

Today I bought a lovely Zeiss Apia scope. In the shop the customer service, knowledge and advice was faultless. Alex and Lauren were brilliant and made the whole experience such a pleasure. You cannot beat shopping locally in a shop where product knowledge is such a strong feature. Thank you Alex and Lauren.

The telescope which I wanted was not available at the Oxford showroom, but staff promptly ensured that Colchester, which had one, could be contacted. Colchester in turn were very efficient with the processing and delivery. Top marks to Lauren. I have docked a star only because Oxford do not seem to cater primarily to birders; the choice here is somewhat limited, but overall an excellent service and a reasonably straightforward and fair exchange process.

Prompt service, decent price. Slightly disconcerting that I had several messages from them saying my order had been passed to another store, Oxford then Winchester then Colchester making me think - is this a scam?

I bought a Canon EF 40mm f2.8 lens for £109. The lens arrived speedily & in excellent condition. LCE always offer competitive prices, a 2 week return window, & a 6 month warranty, so I know that if I am dissatisfied with anything (for any reason), I can always return it for a refund within that returns window. What's NOT to like?

Actual ordering of equipment fast and efficient as always however seems to have some delays with actual delivery and not getting much info as to what is happening, appreciate this is probably more to do with delivery company and Easter break than LCE.
