Good company to let your property with. Been with them for around 8 months now, no issues. Tenants are properly vetted and would definitely go with this Kurtis again if I have another property to let.

Just STAY AWAY if you don't want to live in misery, while being ROBBED!
This is the most ridiculous "service" we have ever received! They give everything to take your money and move you into the property. After the collection of the deposit, rent and everything, they only contact you to raise your rent. If you have any problems with the property - water from the top floor and peeling off bathroom ceiling, all they do is to revert you to their app, to report the problem. Then, you receive a message that the Landlord has been advised and that's all... If you dare to make any improvements on the property, it is on your bill, and ASAP they send you a message or call that the rent must be raised. When you finally lose patience and move out, you realise that your deposit is in a scheme, that only if they want and are favourable enough, you may receive back. We moved out a month ago, there is NO dispute against us or any complaints. Chasing them weekly, asking "what is going on with our deposit?" but only mocking laughter on the phone from their Property Manager-Jacky Cartmell, that "will tell me later, to wait" Well, we are waiting a month already... Just raised a dispute and informed the Property Ombudsman and the Agency regulator.

I am sorry to read your review especially after we had such a nice relationship during your 2 year occupation.
As an agent, we always try to get deposits returned as swiftly as possible but in some circumstances, delays are put in our way that can’t be helped and we had apologised for this.
The deposit has now been settled and returned to you in full.
We do not agree with all of your comments but as a tenant, you have a right to comment how you feel fit and we take all criticism on board as we feel this helps us grow stronger.
I would like to also comment on your statement about ‘mocking laughter’. After working with Kurtis for over 11 years, I have always had a friendly approach and if this offended you, then of course, I apologise.
As I had emailed you, we were happy to discuss your upset and we still are should you wish.
We would like to wish you good luck in your new home.

No communication whatsoever
No communication whatsoever. Have asked multiple times about viewing a property i am very interested in and been told no less than several times that I would be called back on a specific day. Not once has this happened. I raised this the last time I called and he said that he would ring me back himself and didn't.
If this is their level of customer service when they presumably want my money, what are they going to be like once they have it?0

Do not recommend
I dealt with the Ilford branch which is closed down. After he took our £350 deposit, you could not reach him. The landlord himself pulled out of the offer because the house was not ready. I was chasing him for my money for 7 days everyday.
Update: we have gotten our money back after this review was posted but nothing before that. That was 2 weeks of waiting. They need to work on their communication towards renters. I still do not recommend it.

We have recently moved from a Kurtis property which was, at first, in a disgraceful, nasty position. When we moved out the lady taking the keys and photos said we would get our deposit after she writes a review about how we have kept the house. She even wrote a review about many false claims which had not been there or had been there but from before. They have the proof of what state the house was in when we moved in and how it was when we moved out. They are not giving a deposit which is meant to be given to us. They even have very rude agents.
i am from 29 dronfield gardens. More reviews are coming.

We are very sorry that you have placed such a review and would like to clarify.
All tenancies have a full inventory check-in report and check-out report undertaken to show a true reflection of the property condition.
When you gave notice, you were informed of the process and that the property was to be returned professionally clean with minimal damage excluding fair wear and tear.
Throughout your tenancy the property had several works completed including plastering and painting. However, upon departure, it was clear that drawings and scribbles on walls are not wear and tear.
As you were unhappy with a request for any deductions which we tried to negotiate with you on and could not settle any conclusion, this was sent to the tenancy deposit scheme and a dispute raised.
You are aware that the TDS settled this matter in the landlords favour and all of your deposit was awarded to the landlord due to the condition the property was returned.
I hope this clarifies your comments.

I’ve never dealt with Kurtis property but if it’s anything like how staff drive in a sign written van I’d avoid. Weaving in and out of lanes and tailgating on the A12. Disgusting!
