Sometimes the property is worth putting up with the estate agents/property management.
We put up with Kurtis Property for 5 years. Emphasis on “Put up with.”
The bullet points are;
- Bunch of misogynists
When I moved into our property in 2020 with my then fiancé (we’re now married) I was the highest earner and could afford the property on my own. I was also the one dealing with all the paperwork etc. Yet my partner was made lead tenant and me second. Why? Because I’m a woman?
When we were leaving the property recently and dealing with all the check out stuff ALL of my emails were ignored and only my husband was addressed and when I did get a response to an email I got told “we are speaking with your husband” Why because I’m a woman who isn’t capable of dealing with things and asking questions?
- Maintenance issues were not dealt with quickly, efficiently or sometimes at all.
- communication is Poor
- Our property manager (Paris) for the property we lived in had one of the worst communication skills I have experienced.
She was blunt, rude, empathy of a rock and didn’t show any care or compassion at all through multiple circumstances throughout the 5 years we dealt with her.

If you can find the perfect house through a different estate agent, do it. If the house is worth putting up with people like this then good luck.

Umar was excellent from start to finish. He cares about his Client and is a professional. Umar worked very diligently and conscientiously & delivers first-class customer service and is a problem solver, should the need arise. His communication with me was on point as well. In short, Umar was reliable, organized and professional in all aspects of his work. Fantastic - thank you.

Helpful and reassuring through a smooth process of buying our first home.

Charlie Hill is an amazing estate agent. I have encountered many agents before & none of have matched the level of service that was provided to me by Kurtis Property, Charlie in particular.

Jerome sorted everything out for me, made it as smooth process as possible he kept in contact with progress, regularly understood my needs he literally went beyond expectations working out of his hours just to help.
Thank you to Charlie also in team he also helped as much as possible. Even made contact with me after to check all was ok. Both very knowledgeable with data protection which was reassuring Thank you both your a credit to this company merry Christmas and thank you again really mean it :)

We had one do the craziest experiences selling our house, however despite the CONSTANT legal road blocks we faced Jerome Palmer went above and beyond to help us get through it and successfully sold our house despite the extra milestones we had to achieve. He worked tirelessly every day even on his days off for 7 months to get us what we needed. Don’t hesitate to use Jerome and the Kurtis team.

I found Kurtis has the right amount of inventory in their bags & their agents are professional. I dealt with Kurtis Ilford's office & Mr. Moon is the guy who helped us in buying our first-ever property. He supported us throughout the entire process and was extremely helpful. I would like to give a special shout-out to Kurtis Ilford, with a particular mention of Mr. Moon.

Don't bother contacting this agency for renting a property. I contacted before the end of april (when the property would be available for end of april) and then after april: I have phoned them twice and the colleague picked up the phone saying he is in a meeting or he has left at 5pm. I have left my details for a call back TWICE but they don't bother ringing you back. The person who is doing the lettings just doesn't care. They want YOU to chase them, which isn't fair if you're a busy mum and have a lot of things to do in the day. Now, I phoned again and the property has gone. I wouldn't recommend this company. They advertise the properties through a third party company and don't bother replying back to emails either.

Just spoke with Moon. Both very helpful and professional.

I had the opportunity to work with Moon, who was lovely and very kind and trustworthy. He was extremely responsive and on the ball. A genuinely down to earth individual who made the experience of finding a house much warmer than it could have been and shared information whilst giving me space to view the house during the viewing. I am really grateful.
