J'ai acheté il y a quelques mois un Canapé-lit Karup en pin massif, le bois dégage une odeur assez forte, ce qui laisse dans la pièce une odeur en permanence. Je vais devoir le vernir pour tenter d'éliminer l'odeur. Bref c'est gênant tout de même. En dehors de ce détail important il est assez confortable pour quelques nuits et j'aime son design. Il aurait peut-être mérité d'être vernis au prix qu'il coûte.

Sofa bed Roots 140
I purchased sofa bed Roots 140.
I am a back patient (3 hernias, screws in spine) with long covid (fast pulse rate, out of breath) and i was thinking of assembling the sofa over a couple of days.
But the work was done in 1,5 hours though.
Every hole, every screw was up to the milimeter correct!
The mattress is rather heavy but sooo comfy.
Thank you for this excellent design!

Meubles bas de gamme vendus bien trop cher
Karup se donne une image haut de gamme, mais la qualité n'est pas meilleure qu'Ikea.
Je me suis fait avoir et ai acheté un canapé Bebop (modèle qu'on peut trouver ailleurs moins cher, mais je pensais naïvement acheter la meilleure qualité possible).
Plusieurs pièces de bois de la structure présentaient des défauts : traces de peinture (!), trous mal percés... A un point le montage est devenu impossible à cause d'un défaut majeur. Il a fallu l'aide d'un menuisier pour corriger la pièce.
J'ai bien sûr contacté leur service clients qui m'a gentiment envoyée balader...
Une fois la structure montée, j'ai réalisé que le futon est peu rembourré, ce qui rend l'assise très inconfortable puisqu'on sent les lattes, même après ajout de coussins. J'ai mal au dos depuis que je l'ai, et je regrette amèrement mon ancien canapé qui certes était vieux mais était confortable. Et pour ce budget, j'aurais pu avoir tellement mieux !
Je crois que c'est le pire achat de ma vie.
La seule chose positive est que j'ai été raisonnable de n'acheter qu'un seul meuble pour découvrir la marque.

Ai acheté un canapé Karup modèle Beat en juin 2024.
Le design est parfait, le matelas confortable, le bois est de très bonne qualité. Le gain de place n’est pas négligeable dans une chambre. J’aime
Beaucoup ce produit.
Le montage quant à lui est accrobatique. Les designers devraient d’ailleurs aller faire un stage chez IKEA afin d’apporter plus de précisions au guide de montage mais aussi concernant l’assemblage pour lequel il est nécessaire d’être deux personnes, sans compter des embouts en bois qui se cassent et nécessite de l’ingéniosité pour retirer les parties cassées.
Aussi concernant la couleur annoncée comme beige grisé s’avère plus gris pigeon.

Never ordering here again
I normally do not care to post reviews with companies. However my experience is so poor that I have no choice but to write this. Be warned they do not deliver to your door when you do not live on ground level. Even when you have a disability and you inform them about it. I got ignored by email when I complained that this is giving me a lot of issues. The delivery was cancelled and moved four times and in the end they still managed to arrive 2 hours late from the promised time slot. I had to take off from work multiple times which cost me a lot of money. The bed itself looks alright but the quality of the materials is low. Also no numbering on the wooden pieces as indicated in the manual. So you can puzzle out yourself which piece goes where. By far the worst experience I have had with a furniture company. Never again.

Buckle up sofa
The bed that we purchased lays so comfortable, and is easily rolled up into a couch, we had our eyes for a while on karup and wanted to choose for quality which karup has delivered! :) We didn't have to contact the customer service once and the delivery came on time! :) Definitely a recommendation!

Ziggy bed
Ziggy bed. The Price was quite high so we expected good quality. It was worse than any Ikea or such we've ever built. Some screws were missing. Two of the holes were drilled crooked so they couldn't be used. Only half of the weird "miny-screws" could be used cause the parts were not fitting well with each other. One hole was drilled so close to the edge of the board that it had broken the wood. They sold it anyways.. Simply terrible, trash. It's been 4 hours and we're still trying to get it to stick together somehow. Took a break to write this. 😂 Worst thing I've ever bought.

Average quality of wood and fit of…
Average quality of wood and fit of elements that bend. The mattress is hard and if you expect a comfortable sleep, you need to buy a mattress topper separately. In my opinion, the product is not worth attention from the point of view of the materials or technologies used in relation to the price. A typical case where, unfortunately, I paid for the brand and "interesting" appearance, but the quality did not match.

Produkterne er gode, når de endelig når frem. Jeg fik dog leveret et bord uden skruer, og det tog næsten 14 dage for skruerne at blive eftersendt. Og kundeservicen stoppede med at besvare henvendelser undervejs.

Smukke borde af høj kvalitet
Jeg er vild med hele designuniverset hos Krarup Design. At modtage produkter af så høj kvalitet til prisen er virkelig en overraskelse. Jeg købte to borde, som jeg er sikker på vil holde i mange år, takket være deres tidløse design og gode materialer. Det lille touch med filt til bordbenene viser virkelig opmærksomhed på detaljer. Købte futon + seng, men futonmadrassen passede desværre ikke i bredden. Fik fat i Line fra service, som sikrede at jeg fik en ny madras leveret allerede 1,5 uge efter. Den passer perfekt og vi er meget glade for den.

We recently purchased the 'Karup Base' futon, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. This futon is truly one-of-a-kind. Its natural, raw wood aspect adds a unique charm to our home decor, making it feel both cozy and stylish.

I have a Karup Roots sofa and it's one of the worst fabrics ever: stains extremely easily, the covers cannot be washed and otherwise very awful
Please do not buy.
