Jeg havde bestilt en Social bed. Leveringstid 6 dage fra bestilling, hvilket passede med de lovede 5-10 dage. OK nemt at samle, solid seng. Ser flot ud på værelset. Til pengene er det vanskeligt at finde et bedre produkt og jeg er meget tilfreds. Ordre 20728

Ein einfaches Bett
Die meinsten Betten die ich mir angeschaut hatte waren mir alle zu hoch oder mit zu viel schnick schnack mit dran. Da bin ich auf das Japan Bett gestoßen, bisher macht es einen guten Eindruck was die Verarbeitung angeht. Der Aufbau war auch einfach und unkompliziert.

Karup japanese style bed
Bed came easely and fast but some legs were missing and it was a long a tiring process to recieve the missing parts, beside that the instructions could have been more detailed and it doesn’t look as a very strong product if, for example, someone would jump on it but in general I think it’s a good quality for the price.

Futonsofa
Habe ein Futonsofa bestellt. Hatte länger überlegt und als ich nach einigen Tagen wieder auf der Webseite nachgesehen hatte, gab es einen Preisnachlass. Das hat meine Kaufentscheidung natürlich beschleunigt. Ich hätte es sowieso gekauft, aber wahrscheinlich erst später. Die Lieferung kam pünktlich per Spedition, der Fahrer hat die zwei Pakete sogar in meine Wohnung im ersten Stock hochgetragen. Für den Aufbau brauchte ich ungefähr zwei Stunden. Das ist vielleicht sehr lange, aber ich bin absoluter Laie. Und mit der beigefügten Anleitung ging es ohne Probleme. Alle Bohrungen sitzen an der richtigen Stelle, alle Schrauben usw. sind vorhanden. Es ist gut verarbeitet, die Kanten sind sauber, keine Splitter oder ähnliches. Jetzt steht es ganz selbstverständlich in meinem Wohnzimmer als hätte es schon immer dahin gehört. Spontane Übernachtungen sind jetzt ohne Aufwand möglich, ich klappe einfach die Seitenteile nach unten und schon wird aus dem Sofa ein Bett. Wobei ich für meine Gäste noch ein Schaummatratze drauflege, ein Futon ist für die meisten zu hart. Und mit einem zusätzlichen Sitzkissen sitzt man sehr bequem. Kann Karup nur empfehlen.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie sich für unser Futonsofa entschieden haben – und dass sowohl Lieferung als auch Aufbau gut funktioniert haben. Es bedeutet uns viel zu hören, dass unser Produkt seinen Platz in Ihrem Zuhause gefunden hat und sich ganz selbstverständlich eingefügt hat.
Besonders schön ist zu lesen, wie einfach Sie das Sofa bei Bedarf in ein Bett verwandeln können – genau dafür wurde es entworfen. Und natürlich ist es ganz in Ordnung, mit einer zusätzlichen Matratze oder einem Kissen noch mehr Komfort zu schaffen. Jeder wohnt und lebt anders – unser Ziel ist es, dafür die passenden Möbel zu gestalten.
Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihre Empfehlung. Wir wünschen Ihnen viele gemütliche Stunden mit Ihrem neuen Möbelstück.

Faulty bed frame, really bad customer service
I bought a Karup bed, 160x200m.
The bed frame is very weak so the four legs in corners are not enough and I used the provided centre leg as well.
The centre leg is slim and constantly moves with slightest movement (like turning around in bed).
Within 2 weeks the centre had completely scratched floor under it and a the screw was unusable.
I contacted Karup, not even asking for any refund, but kindly asking if I could separately buy (!) one of the corner legs, to use in centre.
After back and forth, this was their response:
“At this time, we aren’t able to sell individual legs or other spare parts directly through our website. The best next step is to reach out to the retailer or online shop where you originally purchased your bed, as they might be able to provide the specific replacement part you need.“
For real?!
I highly don’t recommend. The bed frames they sell are super weak, and while it looks good, they haven’t really figured out how to make it work. And customer service is super unresponsive!

At Karup Design, we don’t sell spare parts directly to end customers – instead, our retail partners have the option to order them through us. That’s why we referred you back to the retailer or webshop where you purchased the bed, as they’re the ones who can assist with pricing and availability of specific parts.
We understand it might feel frustrating – especially when you’re just trying to purchase a single leg. Your feedback is valid, and we’ve already shared it internally so we can improve how we communicate in situations like this going forward.

Très déçue par la livraison du lit…
Très déçue par la livraison du lit Karup commandé sur Veepee
J’ai commandé un lit Karup via Veepee, mais c’est Karup qui assure la livraison. Et là, c’est le cauchemar. Cela fait trois semaines que le transporteur passe, sans jamais réussir à livrer. Pourquoi ? Parce qu’il a un mauvais numéro de téléphone et malgré mes multiples appels à la centrale pour corriger cela, rien ne change.
Résultat : je ne suis jamais informée des créneaux de passage, donc impossible de m’organiser. Pire encore : le livreur passe à des heures improbables sans prévenir, prend une photo du restaurant (où j’attends la livraison !) en disant qu’il n’y a personne. Petit détail qu’il aurait pu remarquer : le numéro de téléphone est affiché sur la porte… Il suffisait de sonner !
C’est inadmissible. Trois mercredis de suite ratés, aucune amélioration, aucune solution apportée. Je suis à bout. Service client inexistant, communication désastreuse. Je déconseille vivement.

Nous comprenons parfaitement votre frustration face à une livraison échouée malgré plusieurs tentatives, apparemment en raison d’informations incorrectes et d’un manque de communication de la part du transporteur.
Nous souhaitons toutefois préciser que la livraison finale au client n’est pas gérée directement par Karup Design, mais par Veepee et leurs partenaires logistiques. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas la possibilité de modifier les informations ou de superviser le processus de livraison, et nous vous recommandons donc de contacter à nouveau le service client de Veepee afin de mettre à jour vos coordonnées et clarifier la suite de la livraison.
Étant donné que la livraison ne dépend pas directement de nous, nous sommes naturellement déçus que cela ait conduit à une évaluation d’une étoile sur notre page Trustpilot – néanmoins, nous comprenons votre mécontentement et avons transmis votre retour à Veepee afin qu’ils puissent en discuter avec leur transporteur.

Ekstraordinær service !
Igår modtog jeg en helt ny erstatningspuf fra Karup Design. Jeg havde faktisk ikke havde købt deres produktet direkte igennem dem. Jeg havde købt den via en af deres forhandlere. Desværre, ulykkeligvis, er denne forhandler under konkurs, så jeg kontaktede, for kort tid siden, Karup Design for at høre om de ville hjælpe med min reklamation. Det ville de gerne, selv om de slet ikke er forpligtet til det. De havde den ikke på lager, men fik hurtigt syet en ny til mig. Jeg er derfor nu den lykkelige ejer af helt ny puf. Jeg har derfor kun anbefale Karup design og deres helt ekstraordinære kundeservice.

Bed is little flimsy
The delivery is really smooth and customer service is very nice. However I am not really satisfied with the product for the price i paid. i bought the Japan bed ~4 months ago
Pros:
It looks like what you see in the pictures.
Good delivery and customer service
Cons:
It is super difficult to put together the bed on your own or with 2 people
The bed is kinda loose, not super tight fit and now i am worried to bring my dates home, if my bed will break💔 as funny as it sounds, it's real problem!!

Lieferung nicht optimal gelaufen
Lieferung nicht optimal gelaufen, wurde am Vorabend informiert, dass das Bett am nächsten Tag mitten am Tag geliefert wird. Konnte nicht vor Ort sein. Mit dem Fahrer der die Anlieferung gemacht hat konnte man sich leider am Telefon nicht verständigen. Bett kam dann ca 1,5 Wochen später. Eine Vorabinformation ein paar Tage vorher wäre hilfreich gewesen.
Qualität des Bettes ist mittelmäßig, Hölzer teilweise nicht ganz gerade bzw. verzogen, was den Zusammenbau erschwert.

Wir verstehen gut, dass eine so kurzfristige Benachrichtigung frustrierend sein kann – besonders wenn die Kommunikation mit dem Fahrer schwierig ist. Dein Feedback nehmen wir sehr ernst und arbeiten kontinuierlich daran, den Informationsfluss rund um unsere Lieferungen zu verbessern.
Auch deine Rückmeldung zur Produktqualität nehmen wir uns zu Herzen. Es ist schade zu hören, dass einige der Holzteile nicht ganz gerade waren und den Aufbau erschwert haben. Unsere Möbel bestehen aus massivem Kiefernholz – ein natürliches Material mit Charakter, das sich manchmal etwas eigensinnig verhält. Das entschuldigt natürlich nicht deine Erfahrung, und wir würden gerne gemeinsam mit dir eine gute Lösung finden.

JAPAN bedframe
The bedframe itself looks nice; however, the build quality is poor, and it’s definitely overpriced for what it offers. The bed slats are held together by a cheap strip of fabric, and when I tried to attach them to the frame following the manual, one of the strings broke. While I can’t fully assess the long-term durability yet, judging by the construction, I doubt this bedframe will last. The components may start to loosen over time, causing the frame to creak. I was genuinely excited about this purchase and expected more.

You’re right—the slats are held together by a textile strip. It’s a choice we’ve made to keep the construction light and flexible and not something that we normally hear any complaints about.
We’d really like to understand more and make things right. So, here’s what we recommend:

Wir haben das Bett Senza gekauft und sind vollkommen baff wie schlecht die Verarbeitungsqualität ist.
Das Bett knarzt und quietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Online findet man sogar eine How-to Anleitung wie man das Knarzen beseitigt - scheint also ein regelmäßiger Fehler zu sein. Leider findet man sowas natürlich immer erst wenn es schon zu spät ist.
Ich bin wirklich sauer, dass ein Produkt, welches so einfach zu sein scheint und dafür aber so teuer ist, dann auch noch solche Design Fehler aufweist.
Kann nur vom Kauf abraten.

We made a mistake when building the bed we ordered and had to contact the customer service for spare parts, and we had the best experience! They ended up sending us the spare part for free and helped us through every step of the way!! We are so thankful to Line🙏🙏
The bed arrived quickly and we got updates on that often aswell, so overall we are very happy with our purchase!
