An amazing experience at Volvo Edinburgh

I only needed some brake work doing. The centre is like a furniture store, it looks amazing.
Ruirdh Walker the service manager kept me fully informed and gave me a voucher for a full breakfast at the premier inn next door! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Called in to Volvo Edinburgh with tyre inflation problem on XC60. Although no appointment staff took time to check and explain. Have waited a week and problem has not repeated.Special thanks to Ruairidh for his help

Had a great experience at John Clark Volvo. My sales executive Thomas was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. He helped me with the Road tax, picked me up from the airport after I dropped off my rental and then explained how the car worked. He phoned me the next day to see how I was getting on with the car and then said if there was any problems or concerns with the car to get in touch. All in all a great customer service

I’ve been visiting dealers for about 2 weeks looking for a suitable car and obtain a fair price for my px.

Aaron at Volvo was a breath of fresh air, I was greeted at the door, he gave his name, arranged a test drive and was at all times exceptionally helpful. Whilst we were unable to do business on this occasion, both Aaron and Stephen were fantastic to deal with. I have already told friends and colleagues about my positive experience and I hope that we will be able to conclude some business in the future.

Recently bought a used car from Volvo Edinburgh. The customer service was excellent. Dealership staff were very friendly, informative with pleasant facilities. Sales executive was well informed, friendly and approachable.

Both I and my wife recently bought our new Volvos at John Clark Edinburgh and could not have been more pleased with the overall service provided. Thomas made the experience a very pleasant one with the minimum of stress involved.

I've been looking nationwide for either a Volvo XC60 or LR Discovery over the past 2 weeks. Thomas Van Meijeren at Volvo Edinburgh was by far the most professional and efficient salesperson I spoke with. Very responsive and always provided clear and helpful information, which was much appreciated.

The garage are very professional and courteous. Very friendly and always helpful. The garage go over and above to make your purchase as easy as possible. Thomas who served us is an asset to the company and will go far

We purchased our XC40 remotely and Stuart was superb in providing all the information on the car as well as the arrangements for payment and collection. We exchanged a number of calls and emails and Stuart sent a number of personal videos to showcase the car that we were buying. We collected our car a week or so later and the handover was carried out by Jennifer who had everything ready for us and provided an excellent service. Jennifer ran through all the controls and features of the car with us and helped us with paperwork and temporary insurance. I have no hesitation in recommending Volvo Edinburgh and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

This is the second negative experience I’ve had buying from a John Clark garage. I mistakenly gave them the benefit of the doubt but will not make that mistake again. The attention to detail when preparing their used cars is poor, their sales men are excellent at befriending you and getting your money, they are absolutely shocking at helping fix problems and honouring the agreed deal (which was impossible to get as they do not budge on negotiations). Despite having their personal number and calling and messaging for weeks nothing has been sorted. We spent £20, 000 on our new used family car it took 8 years to save that money, the second most expensive purchase we have ever made (1st being our house) and they could not care less now that they have our money. I’m disappointed to be writing this review as buying a new car should be fun and exciting and you should feel you have gotten a great deal. This review could have been avoided if the same care and attention that went into the sale went into the after care.

I went to motor choice and had a car on my mind. I was greeted by an amazing staff member Darryl. He provided an absolute amazing service, and given me more knowledge about the car I was interested in. I did buy the Mazda and I am really happy with my purchase.

Ii have just recently picked up my new volvo xc40 from Volvo Cars Edinburgh,John Clark Motor Group.The Sales Executive,Jennifer Calderwood was brilliant,from her smile to the personal, professional way she conducted the handover.So was the technical expert, Martin, I think that was his name.who explained the ins and outs of the car,great stuff.many thanks to all.

They were so helpful when I brought in my Volvo Xc40 recently due to a small fault. I was met by a salesman who took me down to the Service Area where I was welcomed and seated instantly.
They kept me informed throughout the day and when I came to collect my car it had been cleaned inside and out-what a bonus!
I would recommend without hesitation.

Worst car dealership i have ever dealt with.
I requested a PCP to finance a car. Received docs, reading the fine print it was not a PCP. Salesman firstly insisted it was but finally accepted the terms were not that of a PCP. The interest rate was incorrect and not what i signed up to many months before. The correct deposit was not credited. Many phone calls and emails did not receive any response from the business about delivery of the car. Even tried contacting the managing director of Edinburgh and Dundee offering to provide my corres and docs but received no response. Despite waiting 9 months for my car i walked away having no confidence in such an unprofessional incompetent business.

Update 3/5/2022. In response to the email from julie jamieson. I tried to send an email however the email address appears not to exist. 🙄🙄

Quality, Efficient and friendly service.
Aaron was professional and friendly throughout, and called regular with updates. Delivered on his promises and a bit more. Would recommend Aaron and the dealership for any car purchase.

I am absolutely delighted with the purchase of my new electric Volvo XC40. I largely dealt with Craig and Malcolm at Edinburgh Volvo who couldn't have been more helpful. From initial purchase to delivery I was kept up to date and the team were helpful and a delight to speak with. I couldn't have asked for a better service or a more lovely new car.

Kept informed throughout. All questions dealt with. Car handed over exactly as specified on agreed date and no problems found.
