The car was serviced and given its first M.O.T. and the brake fluid changed as recomended when I brought it in at 8am I was made most welcome and offered coffee and a comfortable seat while waiting. First class service and highly recomended.

In November 2022, I booked a 4th service and MOT appointment for this January as I was going to be out of the country for most of December. This was arranged for dropping off on 10th January with a pick up the following day.

When booking, I was asked if I would like a courtesy car. I said that I would appreciate one.

On the day before the drop off, I received a phone call from the service department advising me that the courtesy car would not be available until 5pm. I acknowledge this and said that I would delay my drop off to fit in with this time.

When I dropped the car off, I was informed that there was no courtesy car. I pointed out that this had been arranged back in November and that, in addition, I had received a phone call the previous day confirming that the car would be available to me about 5pm.

The response was just - rebook the car in for a different date – which I pointed out was unacceptable.

I asked to speak to the service manager but was told he was in another building. When I continued to complain, the service assistant brought another person who told me the same story.

Eventually, I was offered a pick up of the car from my home address the following day, which I accepted. I had to request that I be reimbursed for the wasted fuel.

Despite later emailing the service manager about this, he failed to respond to the issues I raised.

I have no issues with the actual service, just the front desk experience.

I was reminded that the service was due. IO was told it woulkd take about an hour and itdid. So I was happy with the efficiency of the service.

The Service Dept @ SEAT Dundee fixed my issue (that would have prevented my family going on a mini break) despite having no available slots and did it in double quick time. Their effort are very much appreciated.

My car was ready when they said it was be but it will did not get the usual valet.

Kept up to date on progress of car. Unfortunately wasn't able to do MOT due to an apparent puncture on one of my tyres (unsure why I wouldn't have got a low tyre pressure warning for that though??) So had to replace tyre and re-arrange MOT. Was also given an additional charge for something due at that service but was a shame when I asked previously how much I'd be I wasn't advised of that, only on arrival. Would have been able to budget better for it if I had, especially when then also had unexpected tyre to replace.

The service here was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Friendly helpful sales team and I didn’t feel any pressure at all.
