Jagex is a terribly ran company. They can always raise the price but having any useful form of customer support is too expensive.
Jagex’s “nonexistent” Customer Support
there’s a huge reason this is one star rating and will continue to be one star for a lot of people until Jagex does at least SOMETHING.. i mean ANYTHINGGG to give the paying customers help & support with any and all issues they may experience with(in) the game. i understand this isn’t a small job, but i can’t name a single company that doesn’t have at least some form of customer service that allows you to speak with someone directly to address and discuss any problems, concerns, or suggestions. they claim to have different social media accounts and even more specific accounts directed for support specifically (ex. @jagexsupport on x/twitter). which i’ve wrote to multiple times on separate occasions and received no replies whatsoever.
God forbid you get banned in game or even worse, WRONGFULLY banned, and you can’t even talk to anyone to clear up the issue - let alone find out what you did that actually caused the ban. you can submit a ticket to appeal your ban id that’s the case and ask whatever questions you have or whatever you’d like… but you won’t get any reply… it’ll just show that they either accepted or denied your appeal. my main issue wasn’t getting any ban reversed. i just wanted to know what occurred that triggered this ban because i wanted to know what triggered it. i feel like i was wrongfully banned and i wanted to see why i was banned besides just their word. i wanted to know what caused it. plain and simple. if i was wrong, i’d want to make sure i’d never do whatever it was again. unfortunately, i STILL have no idea and doubt i ever will on why my account was banned. the reasoning is another story - my point is that as a paying customer and long time player of old school runescape, i feel like if something happened to me and i felt cheated out of something i earned, the least i should be able to do, is speak with someone about it.
if you click the “contact us” button on the runescape/ old school runescape part of the jagex website, the only thing that comes up are 5 of their FAQ’s. i wish this was a joke but i am totally serious. at the bottom of the page there is a thumbs up and thumbs down button so you can rate how helpful they (jagex) has been by answering your questions or concerns with one of the five frequently asked questions. …are you kidding me? i want to CONTACT SUPPORT. i have an issue that STILL needs to be addressed as it could potentially lead to a lot more players getting their accounts hacked/scammed & losing all progress on their accounts. if anyone from jagex sees this, i am BEGGING you to reach out. more people are no doubt getting scammed every second i don’t speak with a jagex employee. i am trying to help. i have a SOLID amount of information, screenshots and an identical website URL that is scamming players right now. i would hope jagex would want to see and deal with this ASAP because its putting their customers at risk. i lost everything today and i can’t even contact jagex about it to see what i can do. their customer support is nonexistent.. it’s such a shame. they have such great potential and they’re ruining it by not being there for the people supporting their games. it’s more than a slap in the face when you’ve been as dedicated as long as many others & i have been with jagex. i have never felt seen or appreciated as a customer. their enormous lack of any type of customer service is pathetic.please just try to do better.

There's ZERO customer service, Jmods that use bots ingame to snatch RSNs and sell for money from players and now promote young, inexperienced players to work for them which have access to everyone's account and card details. The game is now a shambles while they increase memberships above the rate of inflation. Played for over 20 years and had to say goodbye to the game. It's just not worth it anymore.

It is impossible to contact them. Even after making a support ticket about my account, not only did I not get informed that there was a a reply, I only got an email that the ticket is going to be closed because there is no reply from me. But that's only a start. The email seems to contain link to the ticket, but it leads nowhere. The raised support ticket is impossible to find
There's also no live support, the web domain is such a convoluted mess that contains no valuable info and might send you on circles back and forth.

False banned on my account. It was a premiere membership with over 100 days of membership remaining.
I tried to get in touch with someone to review my ban but no one responded to my inquiries or appeal.
It wasn’t until I submitted a ticket to refund the remaining membership on my account. They didn’t refund the days and refused to provide more details on the false ban. I requested all three of my accounts’ membership to be cancelled. I followed up about half a dozen times and received no response.
A month later my card was charged for membership even though I requested cancellation.
I had to open another ticket to obtain a refund and Jagex finally cancelled all three of my memberships.
Still no acknowledgment concerning my false ban.
So unfortunate that I was a dedicated customer for years until this entire situation ruined all of those years. You lost a loyal customer Jagex. Truly fumbled this.

Absolute trash. On my main account, I'm glad that I don't have to use this kind of mess and can just login to RuneLite. But with a new account, I MUST use the Jagex launcher and it's horrible, because on whichever computer I use, all the time I start up the computer, the launcher doesn't work, repairing doesn't most of the time work, so first must remove, then install again, set account again, so once I can play we are 15 minutes ahead!!

Lost my account due to dump alias email change. Been in email contact swung around while offering undeniably proof the account is mine. Even called my bank for details of payments made years ago and they will not help me at all. One Mod even asked me to answer these questions on email and then after my full on detailed email they simple referred me to the system to recover the account while not even looking at the proof. I am so disappointed Mod Jake and Mod Jakhar if someone likes to help please do so

Seems its very difficult to get a hold of jagex when it comes to appealing 'unappealable' bans. Kind of crazy they just ban you out of the blue for something no quesitons asked. Crazy because even the worst murders still get trials and chances to appeal. Goes to show how jagex only cares about money. They'll just put an AI bot to auto deny any appeals you send out because 'its too expensive' for their staff to follow all the appeals. in other words its too expensive to actually have a support system in place

Imcompitatnt Company With No Understanding Or Customer Serice in 2024
What a joke where to begin, before I start if you're thinking of contacting Jagex for any reason understand in 2024 they still do NOT have a customer service team!
No Live chat
No Contact centre
No Common sense
So I wanted to do the simplest of requests.
Remove an email/account that I don't use / never used.
Now the account I wanted removed had the following conditions:
The email I sent the request from was the account I wanted to remove.
They then gave me 72 hours to cancel my request.
I sent it to the email I wanted to remove.... nothing to do with my main account.
Now because I was logged into my main account when I sent this email they decided to delete this account? Due to me being logged in and playing.
Again makes no sense they should have emailed the account they were set up to close. Right?
So I played both versions of the game got max on one of them, and poof all gone, forever.
No way of getting my account back apparently with no compensation for the same time I had left on my account, I even had a year's subscription.
They took my money all my hours and gold achieved.
Terrible service I've never been banned, botted, or brought third-party services.
Don't trust these people with your money time or services they employ people who make mistakes and won't amend them due to their processes.
10/10 Worst Customer service available, company must not make a profit to employ competent people.
