Jagex stealing main accounts from players

I can no longer access any of my accounts after 17 years of playing... calling the password and f2a requirements egregious are an understatement for an online game. If I came to have fun the money involved drags any and all sense of it out due to the war on bots that will never be won. So let players suffer. That's a great solution...as I said... I can't even access my 2000+ acc with 500M bank... thanks jagex...

Customer support is nonexistent

Customer support is nonexistent, they don't care about you as a person. They fail to address any real issues in game. They do not ban bots as it helps inflate their player numbers and generate additional streams of revenue. I'm sure they are doing this to inflate their overall value of the company when the next sucker of a private equity firm buys them up. I am convinced that 30-40% of the entire player base is just bots. They only want your money to further the interests of the private equity firm that they graciously place a pillow to kneel down before for them.Their lack of customer support or willingness to help even some of their most loyal fans who have been playing for nearly two decades, make EA, Ubisoft, and comcast look like Saints compared Jagex. I hope you go under

Lets be honest.
Jagex don't have anything that is called ''customer service'' nowadays.
Its not in their mind to hire a human person to handle cases but internal affairs.
Its all an automatic filter because they don't got the guts or social skills to speak or write to an actual living person.

Please just be honest and state on you webside

Zero human support/tickets in 2023

6...7? years and counting now with utter lack of support. Everything is automated and appeals are ignored.

For the past year there's been a huge increase in FALSE bans by their archaic systems, disgusting for a company their size in 2023. These false bans would never be an issue if they had actual tickets driven by support workers with ACTUAL privileges to check appeals for evidence, which they do not.

Over 40 cases and counting now where someone got falsely banned, appeals automatically denied, and then after manual intervention by the MAGIC of twitter, reddit or direct jagex moderator contact, their ban is lifted because it was in fact placed in error.

Yet they fail to add any sort of safety net even to this day, we're talking accounts with thousands of hours put into them before this just randomly happens one day.

Fixing the issue "per case" is not enough, I've personally been involved in over 20 such cases with friends in the community to have them resolved, until their recent change in the anti-cheat department cut us off completely.

On top of all of this their joke of a support channel on twitter under "@JagexSupport" is run by people who aren't even working for the company seemingly these are 95% "community helpers", voluntary staff, ridiculous. Every single false ban case I've witnessed since 2015 has had the same fake-reply with lies spewed by said support account, stating that there's nothing that can be done about the bans when they're permanent, yet here we are with 40+ such cases resolved since.

Worst company ever

Honestly, I dont know if there was ever an important update Jagex didnt f**ck up. They really dont care about YOU and its all for member fees for them. My account just went ghost mode when i transfered to the jagex account management system and there is no possibility of getting it back because there is an error showing for 5 months and there is no customer support available.. Thanks for ruining the childhood game of many people with your utmost disrespect for your players.

Disgusting

Unable to login to my account on the Jagex Launcher - spent the last 30 minutes trying to find a way to contact Jagex to report the problem, but after seeing all of these negative reviews on here and across other websites, its painfully obvious that there is no way to contact Jagex. The only method to perhaps resolving a problem you have are a few pathetic articles written on their support centre, without any option to contact support in the case that your issue is not present/you still can't resolve it. Now I'm stuck without being able to log into my RS account, which has a paid membership I might add, and no way to report an issue, or even find out why I can't get into my account.

Truly disgusting, and makes you wonder who exactly the people running such an organisation are.

Don't play any of Jagex's games or give them your money. They have no customer service and treat you like you're nothing to them unless you're a streamer/content creator. Imagine a company that does not have a dedicated customer service portal where you can contact a human being about any sort of issues you may be having with the game. Also, the anti-cheat team is a joke. Letting bots run rampant throughout the game while they ban mains played by real players.

Why would you ban someone who botted a few levels versus the guy who has 50K+ kc at vorkath who has obviously made money from your game? So the person who bots for their own personal LEVEL gains is in more trouble than the person illegally profitting from your game? You guys are bogus and litearlly have no logic. I hope this company falls to the ground.

Have been wrongfully temp banned 3…

Have been wrongfully temp banned 3 times now and will most likely get the final ban shortly after my 30 day ban is up. Did no RWT or anything against the rules. When I finally found out where to write to them directly to tell them to unban me, I got a response saying that it was perm banned for macroing and that there’s nothing they will do about it. So I’m temp banned for RWT but being told it’s a perm ban for botting? Couldn’t be any more confused. Worst company to run a game in all of history.

Honestly overall bad company rather ban the players then the bots when it comes to rwt etc , banning bots would make it expensive asf which would combat trade but nah , they rather there players grow hate for them over time , then they will rebel even worse , gl with that honestly just makes me sad .

Jagex done goofed

Company has been ran into the ground for the past 2 decades. Criminals run this game now, botting is rampant and real players are getting punished for no solid reason.
Customer support has never existed so there's no way you can appeal a thing.
So do you live in a 3rd world country and wanna make some money? Just start selling runescape gold, jagex has been allowing it forever, they just want the money for membership.

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time. False bans are rampant and unless you are a youtuber or streamer who can kick up a fuss, you won't get unbanned. There isn't even a support system in place for players to reach out to appeal their bans except an automated service that just rejects the appeal.

Jagex.... fire your support team

I love Runescape but something about Jagex support really just grinds my gears. I was banned for macroing (June-24-2023) and botting even though I haven't played in almost a year (Fall 2022). I saw there was a ton of false bans around that time frame and the early birds were lucky. I hop on no less than two days ago and find out I'm banned, I appealed it and was denied. Really grinds my gears Jagex. I hope the Venezuelans RMT the grand exchange to death.
