The order was delivered, but the company does not respond to emails.

I ordered a La Pavoni espresso machine for Denmark. The order was shipped 4 days after ordering and was delivered as it should.
The price was reasonable, but the service has been saved. On October 25 at: 10:37 - 2021 I sent an email regarding my order to info(a)italiankitchenaids.com but they never responded to the email. The email was on 4 lines and easy to answer and it is actually too bad that the company does not answer emails. This means that I am very nervous about the service that you get if you should experience problems with what you bought here. Failure to respond to emails is a sign of poor customer service.
How would ItalianKitchenAid even feel if they wrote to their supplier and got no response?

I ordered coffee machine from…

I ordered coffee machine from Italiankitchenaids via their website: La Pavoni Esperto Abile - Espab.
Price was ok and they deduced the VAT. They dispatched it after 7 days with DHL. I assume that the delay in dispatching was due to the COVID-19 difficult times.
The machine arrived after 15 days to me, looks new and packed with the original manufacturer package, as I ordered.
Today, I will read and follow the machine Instruction Manual, and prepare my first cup of Cappuccino coffee.
Today, I sent my thanks to the team of Italiankitchenaids for their efforts, and especially Mr. TOMMASO for his good responses and efforts.

All super good!

Very friendly, competent, and professional staff. They know coffee and they know the products they sell inside and out. Very fast shipping! My wife and I have purchased a Gaggia Cadorna Prestige, an extra milk attachment, and a few different coffees. Each time the transaction was smooth and fast. I would highly recommend them for anything coffee related!

Worst Customer service experience I've ever had

False advertising, ignoring your emails, not doing what they say they will and withholding refunds. ItalianKitchenAids offers all the above. I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews here..

It all started with their website confirming they ship to Brazil, I have recently moved to Brazil to live with my girlfriend so I went ahead and made my purchase of a Gaggia Carezza Deluxe and paid the extra EUR 136 in shipping for Brazil. Boy was I excited.
It was the next day on 23 FEB that I had my first email response from MATTEO.... This is where it all took a turn for the worse. (If you have to deal with MATTEO as his email signature says then you may as well give up on ever getting any issue resolved). Anyway, Matteo responded that they didn't actually ship to Brazil and asked if I had an address in the US… No.. Surprisingly I do not… I responded asking if he could make an exception for me since their website offered Brazil as a shipping destination and I had even paid for the shipping but he came back again saying no it’s really not possible…
Ok.. At this point you’d probably ask for a full refund from ItalianKitchenAids but you may not know that Brazil has a tiny selection of espresso machines and their pricing is quite ridiculous. So I did some research and found a company in Austria who could receive and then send on my package to Brazil. Problem solved, smooth sailing from here on right? No.
I told Matteo of my research, giving him a new shipping address in Austria and asking that he send it there and refund the difference in shipping, he said ok and to help out shipping is free (Shipping is free within Europe on the ItalianKitchenAids website). I reply great let me know when its shipped.
A few days later…. Nothing. I follow up to no response. A few more days later Matteo says yea sure we will send it tomorrow….. Doesn’t happen. I follow up again to no response for a few more days. I follow up again… and again…
Finally, about 2 weeks after they FINALLY send it on 5th MARCH. But no refund or invoice.
I pester them every couple of days asking for my refund and invoice and finally on 10th MARCH they refund me.. Partially and no invoice (which I need for my customs declaration for Brazil).
At this point the machine is sitting in Austria while I wait for the invoice which I need… SO I continue pestering them every few days asking for an invoice which I finally receive on 23rd MARCH (one month purchase anniversary yay?), which also confirms they have charged me for shipping to Austria… which is inside Europe….
SO here I am… 20th APRIL… waiting for the rest of my refund on the shipping..
At least the machine arrived....

If you have skipped all of this to the end just take note that you SHOULD NOT BUY A COFFEE MACHINE FROM ITALIANKITCHENAIDS.COM.

If they come back saying I pestered them a lot, why yes, yes I did.

EDIT:
They've responding talking about the VAT reimbursement which I never even asked about and they never mentioned before.

They also started replying to my emails again (surprise surprise) saying they'd refund me the shipping costs they owe me if I took this review down... I'd rather that any possible future customer is warned about them than receive the refund.

as a premise we are sorry to read the lines you wrote;

we have carefully documented the incident and we understand that you have purchased a Gaggia Carezza, with a request for delivery in Brazil, on February 23rd.

Our sales manager explained to you that we could not send the goods to Brazil and asked if you had an alternative address where to ship the goods.
You replied that you had a friend in Austria where we could ship your Gaggia Carezza and that they would take care of the export to Brazil.

We then sent the machine to Austria to the address indicated by you.
We have reimbursed the shipping costs you paid for the non-EEC destination - we did not reimburse the VAT amount - as the goods remained within the EU territory.

The goods arrived correctly in Austria and we imagine they were exported to Brazil by your friend

To proceed with the VAT refund, we need export documentation stamped by the customs of destination, which certifies that the goods have been exported.
We are sorry but as of today we are still waiting for your stamped invoice.
You have been informed on various occasions about the process necessary for requesting a VAT refund, which involves registering the export invoice at the VIES - virtual VAT office - which, once the information has been received, authorizes us to refund.

we therefore understand that you have received your car in Austria, and we are and will be at your complete disposal to fulfill the administrative part to get you back the VAT amount.
Our organization respects the community rules, the Italian law on taxation and VAT obligations.
It is not possible for us to derogate from the laws as for us the penalties on these issues are very severe.

The 12 euros you paid are related to the shipment of the product to Austria, as mentioned we are available for the VAT refund according to the law, but we are not willing to violate the law because we are a serious company and we want to maintain our seriousness on the e-commerce market.
Waiting for your stamped invoice to be able to proceed with the refund, we remain at your disposal and best regards.

Well the whole experience was pleasant in exchange. Maybe there was a bit of a communication issue, but I have to say we did resolve it fairly quickly and yes thanks Matteo and Tommaso you came up trumps!

I ordered a coffee machine that turned out not to be on stock due to the corona virus, but I was offered another machine that was a little more expensive instead for the same price or to get full refund. The service was very good and the coffee machine was pick up by the forwarder in Bergamo on Tuesday at 13:30 and I got it delivered in Reykjavik on Thursday at 15:20 in the same week.

Customer Service

After I purchased the Nuova Simonelli Musica along with a Mazzer grinder I ran into a bunch of contradictory reviews about the quality of the products from this site and the customer service overall
Though I had my concerns, I did receive both items within 10 days intact. The delay was due to the fact that one of the items did not exist in my colour of preference for which Matteo notified me.
I believe the customer service and overall communication can be further improved, I believe there are a few barriers due to the language. Another problem seems to be the phone number showing under their site, if you try to call, you ll be prompt to leave a voice mail and no one ever responds
Apart from the above, Matteo was providing me with answers every time I was emailing him and up till now both machines seem to work just fine

Refund received

I orders 3 days ago a Gaggia Babila. I received the order confirmation email stating that the item will be shipped in 24 hours. 3 days later no response to my email no possible to reach the call center. What’s going on here???
Update, I got a call from Marco. He said we never shipped to Nepal before so we need to check the rate and today you will hear from us. This should be a simple API connection to DHL right on checkout.
Finally I received a full refund

I have been read some bad reviews, but I can clearly say I had no issues, communication was perfect, the package arrived and the machine is of course new as expected. Only a small delay on shipping day, but there's nothing to complain about.

SCAM!! STAY AWAY!!

I wrote another review few days ago under Budi Djohan. I wanted to have a follow up review but don't know the proper way to do it so I decided to do it under a different name.

I bought a Mahlkonig Vario III coffee grinder. It took them 8 days to finally send my order. Instead of brand new grinder I received a USED grinder with wear and tear typical of multi years of use. Scratches on the side body, stainless steel metal that has lost its luster, residues of coffee all over including almost the whole length of the cable, and plastic wrap that somehow shows rust stain. The manual shows a production year of 2011.

When I complained about this to Matteo, he told me that it is typical that a brand new grinder will have a residue of coffee because they are factory-tested. I told him this is not the case. He insisted it's brand new. After few email exchanges I sent him photos of the product and, predictably, he insisted, again, that he sells only brand new product.

Please stay away from Matteo and his company. He is a scam.

this customer which is the same customer on the new review just posted below is extremely rude: we sold him a brand new Mahlkonig Vario, all the Mahlkonig product are tested with COFEEE before being packed and eventual residual of coffee powder can be inside the package this is also state in the manual.
Customer is pesting us stating that is second hand and demo product, we 've even check the serial number from manufacture to calm him down the product is brand new. for anybody interested we have all the details of the conversation and the extremely rude tone of this "person" which reflect exactly the person he is.
Now we are going to notify this abuse to trustpilot

Awful customer service. Things were okay until I paid. Then I heard from them nothing for two weeks, had to reach out several times. I called and they changed my order with no explanation. Just announced they've "upgraded me to a better machine". This sounded very suspicious. Turns out they've sold me something they don't even have. At this point I wanted to cancel my order and get back my money. They were rude to me and hung up the phone when I told them this.
After looking for answers elsewhere, I've found out the machine I originally ordered isn't being made anymore and they want to sell me a newer model instead. Nobody told me this, but whatever.
I decide to give them one more chance. I say yes to the newer machine. They promised to dispatch it "immediately" but apparently they have no idea what the word means. Two days after that I asked for a shipping number, which they promise to give you on the website. I got "we will send it tomorrow, max Monday". Turns out they don't even know the days of the week. I send another email on Tuesday. No reply. It's Wednesday, still no shipping number. I called, I was told rather rudely to send them an email. Dude, I just did that a day ago and got no reply. I was told rather rudely to wait for a reply to the email.
I'll try to resolve this until the end of the week and then try to get my money back instead. Wish me luck.
This company should go bankrupt. No customer should go through this. I wish I had found these reviews earlier.

We offered a new more performant release of the item originally ordered AT THE SAME PRICE (it was 700 euro more expensive) we've been EXTREMELY patient with this customer even though was extremely stressfull, we always attend any call we explained about COVID-19 and difficutlties on transportations during these days ! After all this job and time invested we faced on this extremely nasty review which represent exactly the person which we are dealing with ! We've been extremely nice and polite ! Unfortunately not everyone understand how hard is working during this covid days and not everybody is nice and patience and understandeble.
Anyway for anybody interested we have all the deal with this person the super price provided and the amazing unit shipped ! shame we spent to much time on this after what we just read !
