Nice chest of drawers - excellent customer service as well , we had an issue with a scratch but it was sorted out fast to our satisfaction. Very happy with the furniture quality as well.

BUYERS BE WARNED. I ordered a wardrobe from Island Furniture Co. at the start of June 2024, paying in full.

One was delivered on 24th July, but had a number of significant faults and was nothing like what was expected from its online description. One door was the wrong colour and the wardrobe had lots of scuffs, gouges, scratches and dirty marks. One panel on the side had black marks coming through as it had not been sprayed correctly. I filled in their online contact form. They contacted me by phone and apologised. They collected most of the wardrobe sections including two doors, the top and the base and said they would correct things, and sent me a pot of touch up paint and some cheap paint brushes to fix up any of the smaller scratches myself, which frankly I found very cheeky considering this is a £1600 wardrobe. The colour of that paint was wrong anyway.

They delivered replacement sections a couple of weeks later, but now it was even worse. Now, not one but two of the three doors were the wrong colour. A gouge in the base looked like it had just been hand-painted over, but again in a non-matching colour, indeed the whole base colour did not match.

I rang and explained the problems and was told there was nothing else they could do as they have already sent out replacements and are unwilling to do any more, despite the fact that they had sent me faulty replacements!! So I asked to speak to a manager, who at first said the same, but after I made it clear that this was not acceptable, and hardly likely to result in positive reviews, he acknowledged their fault and said they would send another replacement within 8-10 weeks and would collect the existing one when that was delivered.

After a further 15 weeks I had heard nothing, so I emailed them. They would not tell me when another replacement would be sent, saying only that it would be sometime in 2025!

I said that after waiting now for some 6 months it was no longer acceptable. I had been extremely patient and co-operative but was cancelling the order, rejecting the wardrobe, holding them in breach of contract, wanting a full refund and for them to collect the current faulty item. They have rudely ignored this and my subsequent emails.

Island Furniture have supplied me with an expensive item that was nothing like it should be, was of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for its purpose, and their lack of action to fix this has been wholly unacceptable.

As they have refused to pay the refund to which I am legally entitled, I am having to pursue it through legal process.

I recommend you avoid using this company if you don’t want any hassle or disappointment. It’s now been 7 months since I ordered and paid for a wardrobe that I never received! Save yourself the hassle and go to somewhere else like Melody Maison, Wayfair or Homes Direct 365.

The partners desk we bought was as described. It is well made and very good quality workmanship and super easy to assemble. Am happy to recommend Island Furniture Co. Good communication re updates about delivery time as well

I recently purchased a Versailles Corner TV Cabinet, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The unit took a little while to arrive due to our location on the outlying islands, but it was definitely worth the wait! It arrived in perfect condition, securely packaged, and was easy to set up and goes great with our existing French furniture - so thanks very much !

I ordered a dressing table the end of January 2024. Told a 6 week wait. Finally delivered in August. It arrrived very poorly packaged and broken. Waited another 3 months for a replacement. Luckily checked while delivery man was still there. Broken again badly and black oil on chair. Unbelievable. Wrote immediately with photos and asked for a refund which I am still waiting for and had no reply to my email. So, so disappointing. They really need to look at how they package their products. This arrived covered with a thin foamy sheet and very flimsy cardboard box.

My telephone bar was delivered just in time for my big party by a very helpful driver. Its a great design that can hold lots of drinks and it arrived in tip top condition

Poor quality chipboard furniture posing as premium and non-existent customer service. Avoid this scam company.

I recently purchase a Throne chair from Island Furniture
and I couldn't be happier. The chair is not only incredibly comfortable but also sturdy and stylish, making it a perfect addition to my living space.
I have had a previous order from this company a few years ago and all in all, very happy with my purchases

We order bedside lockers from this company in February 2024 and as soon as they arrived I noticed they were not the same colour as those in the picture. After some emails over and back with the Island Furniture they agreed to take the pieces back. After months of chasing them to schedule a pick up and refund they have kept our money and stopped responding to our emails and kept our money. I absolutely DO NOT recommend ordering from them under any circumstances as they experience and communication with them has been terrible.

Happy with our experience with this company. We ordered a sleigh bed for delivery on the day we got the keys to our new house and arranged for the delivery as late as possible in the afternoon. The bed arrived at an ideal time and the drivers set it up, so at least we had a bed to sleep in, in the new house. Would definitely recommend Island Furniture.

I emailed to ask for delivery timescales before i placed an order and was told "approx 8 weeks" so i went ahead and placed the order. We are now at 16 weeks and nothing. I am constantly being given new dates for when the item will arrive at their warehouse and that i should "bear with" them and that the initial timescales provided were not "guaranteed" - we are now double that estimate. I asked for refund - nothing. Finally they called this week to say item was ready for delivery yesterday - again no show. Dreadful. Never seen anything like this in my life. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

The bed took months to arrive. Was unsure why, as on arrival it looked pretty standard. Within a few months the middle wooden board snapped.

I had my previous identical bed for years with no damage. I was not expecting a bed at the price payed and apparent quality, to last less than a year.

I have emailed them several times since February. Nothing. Regretfully I'm giving up and writing a review.

I have bought 4 items over the last few years , I keep returning because I find the quality excellent and the prices very reasonable. Communication is usually good and was kept informed of any delays. The delivery men are always helpful which makes for a stress free experience.

We were looking everywhere for a mid-century design of dining table and chair set and couldn't find anything.
On one of our google searches we came upon the Malmo range from Island Furniture. We ordered a 180cm table and 6 chairs which arrived on time and was delivered by a helpful delivery company. The design has lovely clean lines and we are made up with the quality and colour.

I have purchased two pieces of furniture from this company over the past few years and I have been delighted with the craftsmanship and style on both occasions.
There were slight delays in receiving both items, however I was kept informed throughout and found the customer service to always be polite, friendly and with prompt responses to any email queries.
I'd highly recommend the Island Furniture Company and look forward to being a customer again in the future.

12 weeks and £327 later and we have nothing to show for it. We ordered a bench and we’re told it would be 8 weeks. We still have no update. I can’t log into my account. I chased delivery 4 weeks ago and was told a delivery date would be released that week. Nothing heard since… now waiting for a response to request a refund. I’d recommend you shop elsewhere.

What started as a great experience ended in disappointment the first time around. We ordered a throne chair and it got delivered the following week. On taking it out the huge box one of the back legs was snapped off. It had come that way. We were so disappointed. The team at Island sorted it that same afternoon and arranged for an exchange the following week. That went smoothly and we now have the throne chair. Its a beautiful chair. Thank you for sorting it so quickly, other companies could learn a thing or 2 from you. We were pleased too that they were selling an item they actually had in stock. Would recommend.

The photos and the description were as shown on the website. Delivery was on time and the delivery men brought in the furniture , unpacked it and took away the cardboard. Happy with the service

We have just had another delivery from Island Furniture. The quality is as good as our 1st order and we are very happy with the quality. Excellent service all around.
