My husband and I are on the large side and the weather is in the high 30's. We called Melanie for advise on costume choices for XXL sizing and was treated with sensible , non judgemental advise. I chose a Cleopatra outfit, which I had to modify in the belt area quite easily and my husband chose the Irish priest. Thank you Melanie for making life just a little less stressful.
Worst customer service ever
I recently purchased an item from here online. They used Evri to deliver and the driver left my package on display and not somewhere safe or with a neighbour. When I got home later that day, the package was gone. I contacted them immediately and asked for a refund. I kept receiving the same response from their customer service team saying to give them 2 days to find out what’s happened and they will be back in touch. Each time I received no further reply and had to chase to be told the same thing again. After almost a month they said I had not replied to their email requesting information and refused my refund request. I asked for proof of this email I allegedly did not respond to as I had sent them emails every 48 hours and was not given one. I placed a data subject access request and asked to raise a complaint and both were ignored. I advised they were breaching UK consumer laws and their response was for me to contact Evri myself with a reference number. I did and Evri said they had nothing under the reference number provided. This is now taken well over a month and they have illegally withheld my money. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be raising a complaint with the ICO about not following GDPR guidelines and reporting them to trading standards as it is the seller’s responsibility to ensure the goods reach a consumer and they should not be making a refund request difficult for anyone.
AVOID!
Let down from the start by Evri
Yet again Evri are late with the delivery. Why do companies keep using them? Due to deliver yesterday, so I waited in. Then I get an email "Sorry, your parcel is delayed, we'll try and deliver tomorrow", now I get nothing from them! When there are so many good delivery companies out there there's no excuse for Evri's crap!

My order arrived completely crumpled by the courier, Customer Services had no hesitation in refunding my order... I had ordered the same thing previously without any issues, will continue to order from I Love Fancy Dress

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a world book day outfit.
I ordered an outfit for my daughter for world book day, with little time to spare. I love fancy dress went above and beyond, and thoughtfully sent us a size larger when finding my size was out of stock, alongside a lovely letter explaining they took the decision to send a different size knowing it was late for me to find anything else. They did not want any child to go without on world book day. I have never received such thought and kindness from on online company. The outfit fitted great and they saved the day!
Fantastic customer service

I contacted the company the same day and Donna's customer service was fantastic. Donna organised for a replacement which arrived the next day and in time for world book day. This is a company that values their customers and the product is great too. Definitely 5 stars and more.

had an order from them - evri ( as usual) messed it up - left on a door and was then stolen - donna at i love fancy dress was awesome - very patient ( i am not the easiest person to deal with) very understanding - kept me in the loop everyday even if want to tell me been refunded - kept me in the loop all the time - resolved the issue eventually for me. great service - thank you
The parcel did not arrive
The parcel did not arrive. It was returned to the sender twice. I got My money back but I lost time and I don't have them costumes for my daughter's show
Excellent customer service
I had to place an order of over 100 costumes for a college event. The customer service was exceptional with email replies within minutes, including sunday evenings. I was having trouble, so i called the number for help with the order and a lovely lady helped me through the purchase an got it ordered within minutes with reassurance (i didnt ask her name unfortunately). Ordering to the republic of ireland so i am sure they will arrive on time and what is expected. thanks a mill

Selection of costumes and accessories is brilliant. Order arrived within a few days of purchasing. Even when there was an issue with the order, they responded immediately with a solution. Overall very happy with the service.

Ordered a costume from this supplier that wasn't delivered (even though the courier claimed it had been). Melanie could not have been more supportive and rapidly arranged for a new delivery overnight which arrived bang on time. Very impressed!

Wow i was shocked at how fast it was delivered i was panicking it wouldn't come in time . Came day after so many thanks. There was a slight problem with Childs out fit 2 things missing i messaged straight away they couldn't apologise enough and sent the missing piece out straight away . Thank you so much. I always buy my fancy dress from theses great costumes, reasonable prices and look fantastic. I buy 6 outfits a years as I take my disabled brother away and they do a fancy dress night and we've won 6 free weekends so thanks again
Customer service is incredible
This is the second time I have used this store. I will say the website is not very good if you want to click and collect, it never seems to let me get past the sign in stage. However I have called up both times and there is always someone very helpful and friendly on the end of the phone who seems to go above and beyond to help and make sure I got what I needed within lightning speed. I will not shop anywhere else for fancy dress needs from now on. Customer service is incredibly good, it is nice to be greeted by a friendly, helpful person. Thank you very much.

I would like to thank Melanie for helping me out via email with a product that was unavailable. She very quickly responded and resolved the issue for me which was a bit of an emergency for a party. Thanks again. Highly recommended!
Great customer service
Great customer service. Went into the shop on the Tuesday for a last minute halloween costume. Told them what I needed and they were happy to find it there and then for me even though they were so busy for Halloween. Exemplary customer service. Will be using again for sure.
