I ordered a Bankers Table Lamp having…

I ordered a Bankers Table Lamp having searched extensively on-line for a Swiss supplier. I thought that I had found this with HomeLoft and ordered as a result. The first that I realised that something was amiss was when I had shipment information from the US and then, when my product arrived, it was a piece of Chinese made junk which had a different voltage, different plug which promptly blew the bulb when I tested it. Had a wanted to pay over 150 CHF for some Chinese rubbish then I would have gone to Temu. I shall NEVER use this company again.

Hätte besser laufen können

Am 24.06.24 hatte ich einen Ersatzzünder für meinen Grill bestellt, weil der passende nur dort als verfügbar gezeigt wurde. Kurz darauf wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das Teil doch nicht lieferbar sei, aber ein Ersatz geschickt werden könnte. Ich teilte mit, dass der Ersatz nicht passen würde. Darauf hin wurde mir die Möglichkeit der Rückerstattung angeboten. Dieser stimmte ich zu. Eine Bestätigung von homeloft folgte. Kurze Zeit später wurde mir jedoch mitgeteilt, dass das richtige Ersatzteil doch lieferbar sei, ich stimmte wiederum einer Lieferung zu. Gleichzeitig wurde ich jedoch von vielen merkwürdigen Adressen mit Spam Mails zugedeckt, die mir die Lieferung ankündigten, jedoch mit einer Adresse in Australien (!) und einem völlig falschen Namen. Die Ansprechpartner von homeloft versicherten jedoch, dass sie damit nichts zu tun hätten. Kurz darauf erhielt ich einen link zur Sendungsverfolgung. Den habe ich jedoch vorsichtshalber zunächst nicht geöffnet. Am heutigen Tage erhielt ich jedoch eine Mail mit der Bitte, eine Bewertung abzugeben: „sind Sie zufrieden mit dem Artikel?“ Daraufhin habe ich den Link doch geöffnet und siehe da: das Ersatzteil wurde angeblich geliefert, aber halt angeblich nach Australien.
In der Korrespondenz mit homeloft habe ich mehrfach auf diese Merkwürdigkeiten hingewiesen, anscheinend erfolglos.
So leicht kann man sein Geld im Internet versenken…..aber jedenfalls nicht mehr bei homeloft.
Ich korrigiere: nach etwas umständlichen Mailverkehr habe ich nun mein Geld zurückbekommen. Das ist fair und entsprechend gibt es mehr Sterne.

Schlechter Service - nicht kundenorientiert

Wir haben am 10. Juni bestellt und die Lieferung bis zum 20. Juni versprochen, damit wir sicher sein konnten, dass dieser besondere Tisch vor der Ankunft unserer Gäste am 21. Juni ankommt. Am 18. Juni gab es noch kein Lieferupdate von HomeLoft, also fragten wir per E-Mail nach dem Status. Heute Morgen, am 19. Juni, erhielten wir die Antwort: "Ihre Bestellung wurde leider storniert, da das Produkt nicht verfügbar ist". Anscheinend wussten sie es schon vorher, haben sich aber nicht die Mühe gemacht, es uns zu sagen. Hätten wir nicht nachgefragt, hätten sie es uns bestimmt nicht gesagt. Ein wirklich schlechter Service, der überhaupt nicht kundenorientiert war. Das war das erste und letzte Mal, dass wir bei HomeLoft bestellt haben.

Buyer beware!

Contrary to what the name and site address implies, home loft is NOT in Switzerland, or the EU. I ordered a kitchen appliance, which is difficult to find, but I was willing to pay the top dollar asked. It took about a month to arrive. When it did finally arrive, the plug was not a European plug, and the power voltage needed is American 110, not European 220 norm. My issue with this is that this information was NOT given in the item description. Also not given in the item description was the fact that the unit was second hand. It arrived scratched from use, and with food debris embedded on the unit. I advise you to be very careful before ordering, and do not presume that power plugs/voltage are to your norm. Also do not presume that the item is new.

Tracking infos delayed

I received the tracking information 1/2 day later … so there was no time to react… so I could only collect the parcel after Christmas… apart from that I was satisfied.
