Efficient click and collect process for reasonable price paint

Click and collect worked well. Helpful security guard. Managed to find most paint and putty required. I understand it is not easy keeping all brands and types of paint because there are so many types. Managed to find enough of what I needed on the website to get started on the painting task.

Excellent service as usual in the Romford Homebase. It was late in the day and Janet was happy and kind when serving us. A very well stocked store and all the staff are always professional and helpful.

The staff at the till, Kevin, went above and beyond to provide an excellent customer service today. He took time to deal with me and help me pack the stuffs I bought cause I was carrying it by hand. Then I forgot an item I paid for and had walked outside the parking already. But he came running to bring the item that I forgot, which I didn’t expect at all. It is obviously pleasant when you receive that extra special service. Thanks Kevin

Nice friendly staff

Unfortunately I needed to return an electric fan due to the problem that it slows down after 15mins. using. As I was telling the issue, the tall till guy blocked me by saying "If it's working I cannot refund it." I was explaining further, he kept blocking me by saying its due to the weather which i don't get how it affects the fan. Just bought it last week. When his lady colleague asked him what's the issue, he clearly told her that "IT STOPS AFTER 15mins." Slowing rotation and stopping are two different things. I corrected him and he gave me this blah blah eye rotation. Then he was saying parts were missing. Told him to check the box, without checking, he immediately claimed it was not there. It was complete. He even kept a screw on his keyboard side which I had to ask back. Definitely the guy has no good customer service skills and rude. I visited Homebase Romford store between 10:40-10:52am. Good thing the lady was helpful and explained to us the solution. She knows how to talk respectfully to customers. I gladly took the fan back as the concern was sorted by the lady. But that guy is not good for front store...

Janet was helpful and put by some flooring until we arrived, to save us a wasted trip. Kevin was very customer centred by helping us out to the car with these items, thank you very much both 😊

Great service, I phoned in to double check if they had the item physically in stock. A lovely member of staff confirmed they did and if they happen to not have the item they would call me to let me know within the hour. Sometimes it’s easier and more reassuring to speak to someone rather than via email or text. Very fast survive of clock and collect plus it was free.

Only goy half my order.
