Fairly good Web site, good availability of goods, friendly staff
One error, the picker did not pick the goods correctly.

Called into buy plants for outdoor pots and Nikki was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and charming.

Without her help, I would have wasted money buying something that probably wouldn’t survive in the planned location!

I recently purchased some item in the Newark Homebase store. I was helped by Dawn. She was incredibly helpful and had excellent knowledge of her store and the products. It's rare to find somebody so helpful and knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I highly recommend her and feel that Homebase are lucky to have such a superb employee. Thank you Dawn!

Laura K went out of her way to rectify a problem I had. I’d been the previous day to have some paint mixed but hadn’t been told it was available off the shelf (£10 cheaper). When I returned to buy some more Laura checked and explained and offered me the extra at a reduced price and was very friendly and helpful.

Served efficiently by friendly, competent Dougie, who made sure we had the right paint colour.

Came into the store to look at DIY bits,we couldn't get what we needed, Dawn helped us she was very cheerful and any queries we had she helped us,nothing seemed too much trouble, well done Dawn

Very efficient process, from ordering into my local store (Newark) and helpful staff when I collected.

Bought a mower on line. Competitive price, delivered to store when advised. Friendly lady in store.Good, easy shopping experience.

Once more visited to purchase paint. Becky saw me with about 8 different swatches and offered to match the background colour of the wallpaper , also advised on the finish as the wallpaper had a sheen to it. Great service - thank you once again!

She was very pleased with the service she received at the store very efficient staff.

Another visit to Homebase in Newark to see if Dougie, who had recently fitted the strimmer wire to my ancient, but hardly used strimmer, could establish why it wasn't working. Dougie tried a number of new fuses and re-visited the wire section again to get the strimmer to work, but was unable to get a peep out of it. So, I said I would look for a new one at Homebase, there and then. Dougie guided me to what he thought would be the best one for my needs and mentioned there would be something knocked off for my inconvenience of having to return. And there most certainly was - a very generous discount when I came to pay. Another very satisfying customer experience at Homebase, Newark. Many thanks again, Dougie!

Efficient as usual

Great service. I’ve had the pleasure of being helped by Becky 3 times now and she’s always friendly, knowledgeable and easy to chat to. A real asset to the store.

We came to collect our order on a day where the global IT issue had happened. We were greeted by a young man who explained it was cash only etc. He was extremely polite and wished us a nice day. He also saw I was having trouble getting my orders in the car, he started to come over to help but I managed it before he got to us. He then came and took my trolley back, again very polite and wished us a good day. The lady on the till was very pleasant also. All in all a good visit.

Really quick and easy to order, collect and the staff member on duty was really helpful.

I had the occasion to return the lawn mower I had bought at the Newark Branch as there was a faulty part.
Dougie sorted out the matter for me and I cannot compliment his help, politeness and professionalism too much. First class customer service!
I hope the mower works when I have the opportunity to use it.

The staff in this store are very friendly and professional. Someone named Dawn helped me. She was great--very helpful. Nicola was my check-out person. She could not have been nicer. People like Dawn and Nicola give the store a good feel.
