Homebase - Hove Recensioni 

The assistants were lovely and helpful BUT the customer toilet was out of action with large boxes in front of it to make sure no one used it. I am disabled and on diuretics, which means I needed to use the toilet. ( You may think that is funny and not your problem but it is very serious). Even if you kept the toilet locked and opened it as needed this would help customers who are already struggling with life and health. We too spend a lot of money in Homebase. Very disappointed in your lack of care.

Very helpful staff member talked me through the BBQs, covers, gas, tools, etc
Convinced me to buy the BBQ I really wanted, and the cover to match it. Loaded it onto a trolley and helped me to the car too. All the while we had a nice chat. It felt like I had been shopping with friends. It was a really good start to my day! I’ve worked retail previously, and I know that it’s not always easy to be that kind, patient and helpful. So today was a very nice experience. I’ve only recently moved to the area, but will definitely be using this Homebase store again…. And again, and again, and again.

It was quick and easy to order on line then to go and collect the item at the collection point. The staff were helpful and checked that it was me that ordered the item.

Polite Staff - Decent Prices can't ask for much more! Staff were knowledgeable and patient with my paint query.

I ordered 3 mustard hanging garden planters with hooks, Item No 13975365, on 8 May. The system generated confirmation that they were in stock.
My husband drove to the Hove store today to pick them up and was given 3 of a different colour. He assumed it was the correct order and brought them home.
He had to go back when i told him the Homebase staff had made a mistake, only to be told that actually they haven't got any mustard and someone had just swapped in the other colour and hoped it would do. He had to get a refund.
Needless to say, it amounts to a waste of time.

The store weren't aware that when purchasing a new electrical item they would take in and recycle the one being replaced. It was necessary to show where this was stated on the website and only when a manager was called did they reluctantly agree to do so
