Took all of 5 mins to collect my order and leave....

Click and Collect - easy & quick service

So straightforward. I ordered online, paid online and selected a delivery date. I had a message given bg a delivery time slot and the delivery was made at the appointed time. What could be simpler and furthermore, I’m very pleased with the product.

Brought a battery lawnmower from Winchester way Basingstoke today, and Andy helped me with which one I needed, even though he was really busy and needed to do something else, he helped me take the lawnmower to my van and also put the handles on for me, because I was worried I couldn’t fix them on my own, at home, I haven’t tried the lawnmower as of yet, but the customer service was brilliant, Thank you Andy for being so helpful, there’s not many that are like this anymore. Thankyou

I had the most amazing experience today at the store in Basingstokes. Lisa the salesperson could not have been more helpful to me. I was buying a small drill and she was helpful, knowledgeable, objective and in the end I bought the store brand over Black & Decker. I would give her a perfect report. Margaret at the check out was equally professional and pleasant and most helpful. She did a good job of representing the company. You have good service at this location based on the two people we encountered.

Trip to Homebase Basingstoke today and Andy @ outdoor garden section was a godsend! We had 8 x 20lt of topsoil which he kindly helped load for us. As my husband is disabled it was too much for me to do on my own. Thanks again, you star!

Extremely helpful lady assistant when I visited the store in Basingstoke on the 6th May. Would not hesitate to return.

Very helpful service from Andy in the garden section. After seeing me pick up some lupins he advised that they had a selection of newly delivered lupins and took me to them and helped me choose some more plants. Also took his time to find some horticultural grit that I required. As usual from the Basingstoke store the service was friendly and helpful.

We met with And and Susie at the Basingstoke branch of Homebase to discuss our new kitchen plans.

The 1.5 hours flew by with huge support from them.

Andy has been doing design work for many years which is evident from his knowledge.

I visited my local Homebase today for a replacement lawn mower blade from the shop I purchased my mower from originally. I bought my last replacement blade from this shop.
Qualcast products are no longer sold under the Qualcast name I have just found out, they are now owned and sold under the Bosch name which Homebase stock and sell. None of the replacement blades on show matched the part number on the old blade so I thought best to ask a member of staff...if you can find anyone. There were no staff members any where near the garden section so I asked at the customer service desk if Homebase still sold replacement lawnmower blades for Qualcast mowers. All I got in return was a vacant look from the person assisting who was quite clearly clueless as to what I was asking for. She had to call another member of staff who informed her they do not sell what I was looking for...sorry.
Fact is as I have just found out, you do sell replacement blades for my mower and you have them in stock. I'll be purchasing online as even with postage it will be cheaper than your price.
Homebase Basinsgstoke has over the years become a joke of a DIY store stocking less and less DIY products and has become nothing more than a showroom for kitchens, bathrooms, carpets and furniture.
Customer service staff could do with some training as to what you do retail.

Peta from your Basingstoke branch is always friendly and knowledgeable whenever I visit the store. She is approachable and will always give advice when choosing a plant.

At Christmas she involved my sons in preparing our Christmas tree which was a highlight for them!

I bought a large garden furniture set which I was surprised was in stock. Alex advised me and assisted from start to finish, even helped me fit the very large box into my car. Top service!

The queue to collect is very slow with only one till which for a Saturday led to quite a long queue.

Staff were friendly & helpful 😊

Denise was a wonderful help and happy to answer any of my questions. Nice to have a friendly approach in customer services.

I ordered a doormat that was not available in my local store, nor for delivery, so I decided to collect it from a store about 15+ miles away, that I roughly knew the location of. The drive was ok but I was disappointed that stocks of doormats were as low as in my local store, as I had thought of getting another one while I was there. I also checked on birdbaths.
Lilly at Customer Services was very helpful when I asked her about these, also low in stock, & I have now ordered one to be delivered to my local store, where I will pick it up next week.

Located so someone took the trouble to ring me and alert me. Very helpful staff. Had another model waiting for me in case it suited.
