Not very helpful

No courtesy from staff. Despite me saying please and thank you the member of staff serving me did not reciprocate . Just rude.

Asked for help from a man behind a counter with a high viz jacket on.so rude.although he told me he didn't work there.he was so rude I actually thought he was joking.he must of been a delivery driver but to me he still represented the store. Another young gentleman was of great help but the cashier just grunted and never made eye contact

I ordered and paid for a new, unopened and preferably unused item, what I received was a package poorly sellotaped together, and the item had clearly been used before.

All fine except for huge collection sticker that was not peelable put right in the middle of actual product it took ages to remove it and then the sticky residue also

Due to nil stock in all my local stores, I had to journey from Bangor to the Antrim store who had some stock of the Christmas lights I wanted. I called the store just to check and spoke to Sam.
He was so helpful and even though this product wasn’t Click and Collect, when I asked him could he hold three boxes for me, he did so agreeably and without hesitation.
Fantastic customer service from Sam and a major reason why people like him keep me coming back to Homebase. Well done and thank you once again,Sam - top man!

No box, no packaging and no assistance with it. 'That's just the way it is' no wrap to prevent it breaking in transit and already assembled so cannot check the quality of the bolt used to connect the two pieces so difficult to judge to carry in that way.

I am so pleased I did click and collect as there was only two sets of lights left in stock.

I had been in other stores to began with trying to get these as I first saw these in another hardware store and I was so lucky Homebase had these last two in stock!

Homebase has a better selection of lights compared to other stores that I bought another set off lights while I was in store collecting my items.

These lights didn’t get good reviews online but I’m so glad I purchased them as they are brilliant quality and working. Exactly what I was looking far! I’m so happy and grateful to get these last two items!

A very polite gentleman staff member on the till around 3-4 o’ clock very pleasant and very helpful. He was excellent at check-out service and excellent at click and collect service.

The only thing that spoiled my visit which wasn’t the store’s fault at all is children going mad in store shouting, screaming and crying damaging Christmas decorations and playing with Christmas decorations which is totally unacceptable. A hardware store is no place for children to be playing around in, parents please get a babysitter or do something to avoid children causing distress in front of customers in hardware stores as it’s very unpleasant and ruins being in the festive mood.

Click and collect is a very easy process. Text received in minutes of order and goods were waiting for me when I arrived at store.
