HiQ Tyres & Autocare - Worcester Recensioni 

Beware! You think you are dealing with a large organisation but they are a franchise and effectively independent! Now read my journey with HiQ ; I was in Worcester November 2024 and decided to replace 4 tyres at a cost of £600 +, I did this with the confidence that this was a large organisation and would be able to resolve any issues at any branch - wrong ! I live in Norfolk and from the first month two of the new tyres started deflating extremely slowly. Because HiQ are concentrated in the midlands and south the first opportunity I had to address the problem was whilst staying in Devon. I contacted Plymouth HiQ who immediately advised me I had to return to the Worcester HiQ as they are franchises, in addition he advised me that the slow deflation was probably a valve or tyre rim seal neither of which would be under warranty, when I said I may as well use any tyre garage to sort the problem then, he agreed. So the moral of the story is unless you live local to the HiQ that did the work you are on your own. In addition any problems arising from poor tyre fitment by HiQ such as valves and rim sealing will be denied under warranty! If I had known these facts I would most definitely have used a national name with respectable warranty and the ability to resolve any issues at any branch. Just as a footnote try and find a head office or a complaints department for HiQ, that tells you everything!

3rd July 2025 update. Used Kwik Fit for MOT and mentioned slow tyre leak OSR tyre. They, took wheel off, inspected tyre and replaced a valve because the valve seal had been split on fitting (Fitted by HiQ) - didn’t charge me ! Now that’s what I call service and that’s exactly what HiQ should have done. Don’t need to say anymore as my journey says it all !

Car was booked in for a mot and full service today, no complaints to start with all went well, but, I had to call the centre to see if mot was done to see how the car got on, passed, (great news) showed back up slightly early to see car still on mot ramp having its service done, (again no complaints as I was early however... this is when it all went down hill...
Full Service says as quoted on website.
1. Washer Jets wasn't hitting the screen before service, they wasn't adjusted after either
2. as quoted from the website. Remove wheels and inspect brake pads and discs**** my wheels wasn't removed
3.Service book stamped. Ours wasn't stamped!
4. I asked to have the wheel alignment done, giving them extra money. This also wasn't done.
To top it off, I asked to have any service paperwork as I need to put it all through my business and was told no paperwork as the mot tester did the mot and service. Amazing, so from what I can tell is the mot was done and just oil and filter (maybe) and Air filter ( again maybe), so all in all paid for a full service and got a oil and filter change and no additional check as no paper work to back anything that's been done on the car.
Past 2 mots I've had the same issue with top mount noisy part (till this day still haven't been changed), every man and their dog can hear it when I'm driving but not the mot tester? Now if I come to sell the car looks like a dodgy mot has been done and dodgy service has been done and I have nothing to prove everything has been changed or checked.

I have just seen your reply on Trust Pilot about my complaint.

I did not remain on site at all. This can be proved from receipts from restaurants and shops from the high street in Worcester, and I am actually extremely annoyed that this lie has been told. I have also got screenshots of the HiQ number which I dialled in the afternoon, asking if the MOT has been completed. I was told it would be done within the hour (this was at quarter to 1), so I headed back over, reaching the centre around quarter past 1. The car still wasn't at quarter to 2 so I then left again to head to a tavern down the road (which I can also provide receipts for), then I received a phone call informing me that the car was now completed. This was around quarter past 2. I did not stay on site at all.

Wheel replacement was declined, as we had already got the tyres changed before the MOT and service. The alignment was requested when we reached the centre to a member of staff, this message was clearly not passed on, and it most certainly was not offered and declined.

The previous professional you speak of did indeed take the car and speak to the staff on site, as I have had multiple past bad experiences with men working in a garage. This does not alter the complaint I have made about the service received for MY CAR.

Friendly staff, fairly priced tyres, quickly fitted, and expertly done - perfect.

My car needed a new battery . I rang and got a quote that was over £100 cheaper than kwik fit ! Within an hour Hi Q had ordered and fitted the battery. Excellent, efficient service.

Great service x Dropped my car off no problem with plenty of off road parking. Job was carried out as promised no problem. I was contacted in a timely manner after completion of the work required. Friendly too.

Went before Xmas for four new tyres, was dealt with promptly and professionally and witnessed great customer service to other customers whilst waiting (shout out to Andy). Was looked after and so was my dog who was with me - all the fuss in the world. Had an issue with tyres losing pressure the day after. Was taken straight back in for the first appointment of the following day, the issue found (flaking paint on the inner lip of the wheel from a previous refurb). This was cleaned off and tyres refitted FOC - no issues since.

Excellent service provided when I had front tyres replaced recently. Also advised during visit that one of my alloys had cracked (visual evidence shown) and that my rear tyres also needed replacing as close to limit. Very professional and friendly service, special mention to Liam who was extremely helpful.

Andy and Gary have just put 4 new tyres on my i8. Great professionalism as I expected and the price was more than fair.
Will be back when my brakes need sorting. Thanks Guys.

I have used hiq Worcester a lot with no issues - today I lost all trust. Basically I needed a mot - whilst looking for the number to call I notes I could book on line so I did. The slots I wanted were available so I booked. The messages came back saying someone would call to confirm. I chased a few times but the Worcester branch never answered. I had other e mails al indicating I had a booking. I turned up this morning to be told I didn’t have a booking because no one had called. They also suggested e mail system was a problem for them all the time and they had been too busy to answer the phone this week. The upshot was they could not help me and I was left without mot. This is a customer who tried and I feel badly let down.

Rude staff and waiting times are awful.
One man said to his colleague, are you alright to put a tyre on this car? He said no necessarily, I haven’t eaten yet? I’m a nurse and we can go all day without eating. Just wrong attitude when people are spending money!
