Took 3 older cars for their annual MOT. I'm not a mechanic but willing to "have a go". Thankfully, tester Vince is expert at showing and explaining the legal vehicle requirements. He's very professional and has the patience of a saint as I returned several times due to my own silly errors.
There was never any pressure to have HiQ do the work, it was always an enticing and valid option. They fitted one tyre for me and popped on a set of wiper blades they allowed me to provide. They went out of their way to help me retest a vehicle, fitting it in even though they were busy with heatwave aircon work.
I would gladly go back for servicing and repairs.
HiQ know their customer, and they know the local market. If you're unsure about what you car needs just speak to Geoff, he's down to earth and will find the right level of service to suit you, your vehicle and hopefully, your pocket.

Very helpful manager, his mechanics go above simply removing and replacing a tyre, they were seen to be polishing the tyre bead contact area of the wheels. Removing corrosion from the mating faces of the alloy wheels and the hubs. Asking if I had a preferred tyre pressure and finally, correctly torquing the wheel nuts so that they can be removed again without excessive force.

Manager presented a list of tyre options and prices, explained the performance details and ratings so that I could decide which to buy. Tyres were ordered and ready to fit the next morning.

They were absolutely 10/10. I found myself with a slow puncture and a flat tyre, and I was absolutely desperate for a fix. Geoff and the team were so kind to me; they fixed it in under an hour. I’ve had unpleasant experiences in garages before (I think due to being a young woman sadly but this is just my experience) and they were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t recommend more!

If there was a 6 star option, they would be getting that!
Geoff and the team are an absolutely class team, and have left me feeling so reassured about my car (which had so many underlying issues). I am extremely thankful for them. Couldn't recommend enough...

I needed to replace a rear Nexen tyre due to to a screw in the 7mm tread.
I rang them this morning asking if they could match the same make and size which they could.
They had the Nexen in stock and could fit immediately !!.
These were the only immediate source of the tyre I could find.
The staff were fantastic and I was sorted within a couple of hours of first contacting them.
What fantastic service !.
I would rate them very highly and recommend that if you need tyres do not hesitate to check them out before looking elsewhere.

Excellent efficient service and MOT
This is the first time I have had my car serviced here - Geoff was extremely helpful and my car was serviced within the stated time. He let me know in advance what was required; good value too.

Fantastic service! I had a flat tire late this evening and had to travel home to the other side of Manchester. These gents where very honest about my tire and found it didn't need replacing just fixing slightly. They checked all my tires for me and made sure the car was safe to get me home.

Absolutely wonderful service from start to finish. We were given a price for the work needed at the start and even with a few extra things required during the work the price didn’t change. The work was going to take a few days longer than expected so Geoff arranged for us to use the courtesy car (now named Polly!) in the meantime which was a god send!

A big thank you to the manager Geoff who sorted out my burst tyre on a very hot Friday after driving there with the help of the AA and a temporary tyre. I really appreciated your advice about which tyre to choose and for fitting it so quickly when you were busy. Very courteous and friendly and I don’t know what I would have done without your help when I was on a long journey! Many thanks and I thoroughly recommend HiQ Queensferry.

Twice I have had to go there for run-flats and twice they have provided great service. First was for a same day order-it-in rapidly to replace a burst tyre the second was planned-in to replace worn black circles. Very courteous.

I went to hiQ in queensfery (north wales) to replace my discs and pad brakes while doing the job somehow they did manage to brake my ABS wire… they have tape it and gave me the car back as nothing happened since the light was not coming up onto my dash board.
Two weeks later I am taking my car to a different service to do my MOT and Service my car and I find about this issue where the mechanic clearly explains to me that this wire has been damaged when changing the discs and pad brakes.
I went back to HiQ to tell them about it after so many back and forth conversation the guy from the reception agrees to take my car in to look at it and replace what they have damaged…
A few hours later am getting a call back from them to tell me that if I want the job to be done I need to pay them because they haven’t done any electrical works on my car and all they did was to replace the discs and pad brakes. I’ve tried to explain them again what has happened and even show them the video I’ve got from the other garage where they explain me what has happened… and the lad from the reception rudely tells me that he dose not care what other mechanic has told me that if I want to get the job done I need to pay.
So disappointing to go in with your goods pay them a lot of money to do a job for you and when u leave their places u leave with more damages to your car…

Tried to get in touch with HiQ customer service to take this further but I can’t get in touch with anyone….
