Second year running we have booked with Hays, usually book online.
It’s nice to go in store and chat to someone and everything is taken care of including check in. Much more personal.

Before we went into Hays we knew our holiday destination and approximate dates to travel - 3 nights in Lisbon staying in the 5* hotel, which our son recommended as being central and in a ‘flat’ area (important as we both have mobility limitations) after his city break in the capital last year. Then 1 week with family at their house further south in Portugal. Emily was very helpful with a friendly approach. Luckily the hotel was available for the days we requested, plus outbound flight from Bristol and return flight from Faro were at convenient times. Emily answered all our queries so we were happy to pay the full amount as the holiday is imminent in 2 months. The whole procedure was carried out within a short period due to Emily’s efficiency, experience & professionalism - thank you.

Our travel agent made lots of suggestions for us based on what she knew from our previous booking. She remembered us as previous customers, remembered our last holiday and things about our booking. Superb customer service.

Plenty of helpful pleasant and friendly staff. I prefer to book with a person than do it on line. I’m fearful I may miss something important and miss a booking which might suit my needs better than that I had first thought of.
And- I’m less likely to be influenced by the advertising we are all bombarded with
