The tour bus was nice, the guide polite, and on time. The cost was appropriate for the value received. The only unfortunate aspect was the bus never stops, so taking pictures was never really an option.

Our Rabbie's tour with Pete Falconer ("Wee Pete") was exceptional. Pete was informative, funny, and an excellent storyteller. He brought the history of Scotland to life and gave us a true appreciation of the land and its people. We saw so much and greatly appreciate how Pete accommodated our "wish list" sites that were not on the original itinerary. The housing accommodations were lovely, and the bus was clean and comfortable. We would definitely tour with you again and recommend your company wholeheartedly. Thank you for a wonderful adventure that we'll never forget.

Lovely tour guide. The distilleries were hospitable and informative. Going to a small and large variant actually added to the learning experience. We loved it.

Rachel gave a very good tour around the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle on New Year's Day. Very informative. My daughter made sure to hustle right to the front at each stop to learn every fascinating detail, and ensured we left a proper tip!

Oh, at the start, we did forget the rule about filming the presentation (only 1 minute at a time allowed for video), but Rachel was very kind in reminding us, and we took more still photos instead to share with family back home.

Our trip went without hitch from start to finish. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Unforgettable experience in Scotland! I was looking forward to seeing the Highlands and booked the tour with this company. We had an absolutely amazing guide called Mark. He told us a lot of exciting facts about the places we saw during these 3 days as well as the history of this great land. Mark is also an experienced driver and we felt safe with him even when we were going by narrow mountain roads. The landscapes of the Highlands were really magnificent. It was the best journey of my life!!!

I really enjoyed the tour, our tour guide Alan was brilliant, loved the scenery and folklore! Especially about the Isle of Skye. I want to go back soon! So thank you for a great tour!

An Unpleasant Experience Touring Orkney

The man giving the tour of Orkney and driving the bus was fairly unkind to me - I think he thought I was American? (I'm Canadian, if it matters.)

At one stop he told us to be back a the bus at a certain time, and at that exact time he quoted, as I was arriving back from the Ring of Brodgar, he was pulling out of the parking lot, intending to leave me there. When I pointed out that I was back on time, he said I was meant to be ON the bus at that time, and should have been back five minutes earlier.

Maybe this is a cultural difference. In future perhaps he could give folks the 'five minutes earlier' time as the time at which to arrive back at the bus.

The drivers shaming of me in front of the other passengers ruined this tour that was a bucket list item for me, and should have been the trip of a lifetime. I felt terrible and was afraid to leave the bus at our next stop, lest I be left behind.

The rest of the people I met, the drivers of the Orkney Bus and others, were very pleasant.

Great tour to Speyside. I am planning to go back with you guys again next year!

For us the pronunciation of the guide was a bit hard to understand.
Otherwise it was a great tour, many thanks for all.

Had a wonderful few days despite the appalling weather.

We've had a wonderful day! Everything went smooth. From the pickup in Inverness and transfer to the ferry and the connected tourbus on the Orkneys and visa versa. The guided tour was very interesting and the stops at historical locations were very worthwhile the visit. Stops were a bit short, but visiting multiple locations comes with a price; time.

The tour itself was great and the tour guid was excellent! However, I happened to be on the tour on an extremely hot day day and the air conditioning was out on the bus, as well as the radiators on the bus emitting a LOT of heat, which made it quite miserable. The guide/driver was doing all he could but nothing helped. Granted hot days like that are few and far between in Scotland so I'm not sure that there was anyway that it could have been prevented.

Everything was great except for one thing.
I booked the trip because it was supposed to go first via the Forth Bridge and Perth. I've been to Stirling and Doune before so I was not so interested in those places. I wanted to see Perth etc. when there was still light outside so I could admire the unknown views.
However, I was assigned to the bus that went firstly via Stirling. I found out when we drove off and the tourguide briefly told us the main stops. It turned out that out of 3 buses that day one went via Perth first but it wasn't the one that I was sitting on. It was a bit of a letdown because I chose this specific travel agency and tour because of the direction of the tour.

On time pick up at Inverness bus station. Efficient transfer onto the ferry at John O'Groats, allowing time for the JOG photo-op. Smooth transfer onto the guided tour around the historical monuments of Orkney. Very reasonable price for the trip.

And of course the sights on Orkney are very well worth the trip.

Great service - driver had a wealth of information and shared this throughout the day.
