Shore excursie geboekt, bus al vol, geen hulp
Ik heb een shore excursie geboekt ook bevestiging van gekregen. Maar op de dsg zelf geen bus, gebeld en bus is volgeboekt. Blijkt dat we voor een landexcursie zijn geboekt (45 minuten verderop) bus wil niet wachten. Geen taxi mogelijk. Na heel veel zelf bellen geen hulp, geen alternatief geboden, alleen geld terug en zoek hetzelfde maar uit. Nooit boeken bij dit bedrijf!

Not enough time to see places out of the bus, too heavy accent

The tour was mostly a bus drive (10 hours tour!), with short stops to photograph. I would prefer less driving and more time exploring places by foot.

Our guide had a heavy scotish accent, and he was aware of it and talked about it. I think that a tourist guide should be able to speak clearly, so that non-English tourists could understand him. On our trip we met many Scotish people, some of them tourist guides, and we undersstood them all. On this trip, we didn't understand much...

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear the tour did not live up to your expectations. We would love to be able to make more stops on the tour to give you more time for photos etc, however we wouldn't have been able to take you to so many lovely places. This is something we need to look at and I will absolutely pass your comments onto the guides and drivers as feedback for their upcoming tours.
With regards to the guide's accent, here in Scotland we have what we refer to a “gid Scottish brogue” and this can at times be challenging if you're not used to our local dialects. Certainly some more than others. So I will also pass on your comments.
We do hope to see you again and please do think of Go Scotland Tours for your next adventure in Scotland.

The 8-day highland experience was…
The 8-day highland experience was amazing. From Edinburgh to Glencoe; Loch Ness; Ft William and Ft Augustus; Inverness ; Oban; the Jacobite train to Maillag; the ferry to the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Lewis and Harris ..ending in Culloden was outstanding! We had 2 tour guides; Rory and Tommy. I couldn't ask for better guides. They brought Scotland's history to life through stories, song, food and drink. They showed us the present Scotland through its industry and culture. The accommodations were great - took in so much that its day 4 and we're still going through photos! Can't wait to return. Thanks for the great adventure!!!

Amazing tour of the lowlands combined with stops at Melrose Abbey, the distillery and Roslyn Chapel. Our tour guide was outstanding and provided an animated history of Scotland. Highly recommend

Very let down
I booked a tour from Glasgow. Arrived early at pick up point only to be told by the tour guide that I did not have a reservation. Apparently we were booked on a tour from Edinburgh. Go Scotland Tours blamed the the tour operators and vice versa. The confirmation that I had been sent stating that I was booked on this trip from Glasgow was worthless and not correct. This was all very stressful and infuriating especially after planning and organising a trip in advance due to the very limited time I knew I had in Scotland. Go Scotland Tours said they would look in to the matter and call me back but didn’t. I would avoid this company in future.

Hi Tess, Thank you for your review. Your feedback is important to us. Unfortunately because of less daylight hours in the winter we are not able to stop at the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The description on the website specifies we only stop here between April and October. Sorry for any inconveniences.
