The Go Scotland Tour was excellent
The Go Scotland Tour was excellent, everything promised was delivered at a cost @ 50% less then the cruise excursions. Highly recommend for value, experience and traveling with 14-15 participants is so much more personal and relaxed then a bus of 50+

Fantastic trip - as always! I've used Go Scotland Tours before and highly recommend them for bespoke tours. They professional, patient and highly knowledgeable in fully accommodating your requests while offering sensible suggestions to further enrich your experience to make it stress free, while delivering the full itinerary. Guide / driver was highly personable, flexible and enthusiastic while the vehicle was perfect for the trip i.e. very comfortable and spacious for luggage. Great trip
Great trip. Loved every minute of it despite the arctic winds. Guide and driver very competent and the sites chosen also good. A visit to Sromness would have also been good even if very brief.

One day in Edinburgh
My husband and I enjoyed the tour of Edinburgh and the guide was very knowledgeable. We were hoping to see more of the city except out of the van windows, and because we were right in the back seat you really could not see much of anything from the van. Going to the castle and a walking tour of the old town was very good but that left no time for shopping which I was surprised about. We spent alot of time going to a small church because it had been in the Davinci Code...granted the church was nice, but there was no need to be there over an hour.

We are sorry that you felt Mike spent too much time at Rosslyn. The chapel has not only the connection to the books and movie ‘The Davinci Code’, it also holds some of the most sought out masonry work to be admired in the world with a strong connection to the knights templar and most like to enjoy at least an hour to take in the copious amounts of carvings and intricate details to be found in the stonework as well as the vivid and intricate history of battles, legends and religion in our country. We advertise for an hours visit to ensure that you can visit the chapel and the grounds at a pace suitable for all.
We were made aware of the back seat issue onboard and a 50% discount was offered and accepted on the tour so we do hope this is a satisfactory conclusion to this matter.
We are also concerned with your comment about not being allocated time to shop on the tour. The guide advised this was a group decision and a discussion was had at the time on the tour to either shop or spend more time on the walking tour and the tour was unanimously agreed? As you were on a group tour we must go with the majority of our customer's wishes and I'm sorry you felt this wasn’t the case.
I would more than happy to arrange a private tour for your next visit to ensure you saw as much or as little as desired.

A taste of the highlands
We had a great highland tour with our guide John. We visited the Glenfiddich distillery, Ballindalloch Castle and Balnuaran of Clava.. We traveled from Aberdeen to Inverness and it was a great day. There was 12 in our private group. I would definitely recommend Go Scotland tours.

Go Scotland, Here I come!!!
1. The tour operator was professional to the core, he knew what he is doing
2. Reception was good and boarding was at prominent place.. you can never miss it
3. all through the tour, the guide was enthusiastic and had interesting dotes.. funny ones too
4. Shame that tour ended swiftly
5. But could NOT enjoy much at LochNess or Valleys as the bus did not stop enough.. 10 mins- that is just not enough!
6. You spend more time in bus rather than places.
7. Better go by own vehicle...

Fun for young and old
My 7 year old daughter and I loved our Islands and Highlands tour! Our driver was both knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like she knew the best spots to see and I could really relax because everything was taken care of. My daughter even said the bus was her favorite part.
