Paul F was extremely knowledgeable about all things camping. He helped us with a couple of things we were looking for and gave us some great tips and advice. He did not pressure us into buying anything and was really friendly.

Shop floor staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The cashier was also extremely professional, being particularly efficient and helpful.

Good quality product, could see stock online and pay to reserve for pickup.

Paul S was extremely helpful and showed us exactly the products we we were looking for and also helped advise us on the membership procedure. We were unsure of the brands so he also assisted us with good knowledge of the different options. Our first visit to GoOutdoors was very easy and pleasant. Thanks Paul

Needed advice on luggage, Paul F was a great help and steered me to a cost effective but good strong choice.

The shop was really big, well stocked with good variety of goods and had ample parking space. They have the rents pitched out in the garden so you can see it properly and decide before buying.
The staff were all friendly and helpful- especially Paul F, who went the extra mile to help us.

We went in to view some different tents today and a member of staff (Paul F.) came over to see if he might be able to help us. He had a lot of helpful suggestions and knowledge about the tents / camping.
He was very friendly and gave us some great advice and answered all our questions without a fault.
He is a great guy, made our experience in searching for a new tent easier!

My son and I went to the store to purchase items for his Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Paul F was absolutely brilliant. He was so helpful and knowledgeable with the items we needed. He really helped us a lot choosing the correct backpack, taking his time to get my son the backpack that was correct and comfortable for him. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend coming here with your list but to seek help from Paul F when choosing backpacks and for other items as well.

Went to the Southampton branch today to get some new walking boots. I was helped by Paul F. he was very chatty , friendly and helped me a lot with choosing the best boots for me. He had lots of good advice.

Had a few questions about self inflating roll mats, Paul F was a pleasure to talk to. He had great experience, was extremely helpful providing honest and informative advice on exactly what I needed!

We had a fantastic experience at Go Outdoors today thanks to Paul F. My friend and I were looking for gear for a multi-day hiking trip, and Paul’s expertise was invaluable.
He helped us settle on the right sleeping mats, even inflating them so we could test them out, and answered all our technical questions about R-ratings and sizing. When we asked about sleeping bags, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the different brandsand material; although the one he recommended was out of stock due to waiting for the new season, he gave us great advice on when to come back to check out the new stock.
He also gave us brilliant tips on backpacks and hydration. Even though we’d struggled with hydration bladder bite valves in the past, Paul showed us an OEX model with a twist valve that solved our problem. We’ll definitely be back to grab the 3L version when it’s in stock. Brilliant, honest service—thanks, Paul
