I like Go Outdoors as they have alot more choice of walking boots/shoes. Carol served us today, very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. I struggle to find shoes to fit, after trying on just about all walking shoes and different sizes, Carol must have got her steps in for the whole day, I managed to get some comfy shoes for walking (and socks). Carol certainly an asset to Go Outdoors. Am pleased with all purchases today. Thank you

Great customer service as usual with really friendly helpful staff.

First time at the store greeted by a lovely lady spoke to me and was very pleasant. I then went to the fishing tackle were a male staff member came after serving another person and chatted. I can only say how nice it was to visit a store with staff that were very friendly, polite and helpful the Scunthorpe store is a credit to you

Went in-store today for a gas bottle refill and some walking trousers. Had exactly what I needed in stock. Store was immaculate and great range of tents set up to look around. Perfect mix of being free to browse and staff being on hand to assist if needed. Served by Nicky who was really helpful and friendly. I really value this store and it's staff, thank you.

Was in scunthorpe store today looking for backpacks was helped by hannah. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable we purchased the backpack we wanted which was thanks to hannah.

I was in the Scunthorpe store today and needed a new pair of walking boots. I was helped by Carol who was very knowledgeable regarding the boots on display. I was a bit of a pain with trying on different pairs and different sizes which meant a few trips to the store room for Carol but she remained cheerful and helpful throughout. I did make a purchase eventually and found Carol to be a great asset to your team. Thank you very much

Carol was excellent with helong me find the right hiking boots and also some waterproof light weight trainers for work. Very patient while I tried on lots of pairs and went to the stock room several times as I was indecisive. Very happy with the friendly and chatty service. Same with Tanisha on the till who was friendly and polite, let me know my membership is due soon and also watched my items while I took my daughter to the loo! Thanks ladies! Top job!

The patience of Carol was amazing. I hate buying shoes and needed a lot of reassurance that I was choosing the right shoes. She even suggested buying special socks to hopefully eliminate blisters. I was with Carol for at least 30 minutes and she was extremely professional. She went out the back to get shoes for me to try on about four times and could not do any more to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

Everytime we have dealt with go outdoors the staff have been very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Bought an e-bike today. Knew little about them before but Zac was very helpful and obviously knew his stuff and explained everything. Very pleased with the bike. Thanks to Zac and manager Kurt.

I bought a pair of Mammut walking boots. I was served by Carol who was extremely helpful and very patient. I tried on three different brands before making my final choice. I appreciated her advice. Thank you!

Max helped us in store today to find the appropriate camping equiptment and advised us on which bundles to get and directed us around store. Sue was on the till and helped us set up a membership, she was lovely and patient and we ended up saving on a lot of money due to both of the staff members help, I doubt we could have saved over £200 online. We got a 4 man tent, chairs, bed, all sleeping bits, lights, a decent and large cool box, all for about £200 when it should have been £400. The staff were both lovely and helpful and we are very satisfied with our experience today.

I was on the hunt for walking sandals and discovering that finding a pair that fit well and don’t make you look like a retired geography teacher on a field trip is quite a challenge. (Bonus points if they don’t require socks)

Carol spotted my dilemma, took the time to help, and found a discontinued pair in exactly my size. They were also heavily reduced, making the bargain even sweeter.

She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being remotely pushy. She also pointed out the fantastic sale and discounts currently available, which may have accidentally led to me buying a lovely T-shirt that was so heavily reduced they were practically paying me to take it home.

Go outdoors in Scunthorpe is a huge shop. All the staff were helpful and friendly. My husband and I both needed walking shoes, Carol immediately helped us choose, and didn't mind us to keep asking for different shoes to try on. Carol explained differences between them all, and encouraged us to walk on the wooden bridge, which I wouldn't normally do, but it was helpful. She was very professional and patient. As usual after looking about Independently we bought more than what we intended , and received a discount after joining their club, well worth the £5.cost. we enjoyed the pleasant experience there today.

I was looking for some new walkers and Carol was so helpful and knowledgeable that I found the right purchase…4 weeks later and I don’t want to take them off my feet. Thanks again Carol 5 stars
