Great service and very helpful.

I attended Leeds York road shop. I haven’t been for a couple of years what has gone from a well run shop is now abysmal. Customer service zero. I won’t be using that premises anymore I would close it down it’s ruining your company name. Next time I want something I’ll try your Huddersfield or pudsey shops I hope it’s a massive improvement or it will solely be purchasing online.

Helpful staff, good range, plenty space and great parking and opening hours. Prices seem reasonable with membership applied.

Visited for the first time today. Shopping for a rucksack for our 10 year olds first Scouting trip. Met at entrance by Jimmy. Flawless customer service, very knowledgeable and experienced. 10/10.

To be honest I never write reviews but I thought I had to after visiting the tackle shop in Go Outdoors. After Bobco shut I thought it was over for local tackle shops with the likes of big brands like yourselves taking over but when I went in the other day a young lad, I think he was called Luke completely brought back the feeling of being in a proper tackle shop.

The experience he has at his age and the knowledge he was sharing with me and my lad was exceptional. He took time to show me how to make a couple different rigs as I’ve always used the same old hair-rig which he kindly explained isn’t a bad rig, but there’s certainly better alternatives that could increase the chance of putting fish on the bank - we even used it to catch my lads first double figure carp. An absolute gem of a fella and brought me back to my youth with how he spoke to me no corporate nonsense just relatable down to earth. I will definitely be coming back to GoOutdoors again as you’re my new tackle shop👍

We came initially to look for climbing shoes for myself, and we weren’t offered any help initially but it was alright, we knew what we were looking for and if we had been offered help we would’ve said we were fine. We spent over an hour there till we found the right shoes and were heading out, then Mike stopped us and apologised for not getting to us sooner. I explained that it took me a while to find the right shoes since I need to wear insoles and he told me about the brand Superfeet and how they could maybe help me. I wasn’t really interested in buying something like that but my mum was and Mike was very helpful, getting her the right size and being very informative and extremely friendly. I would just say that he maybe spent a bit too much time chatting and there seemed to be other people waiting for help, but overall he was both helpful to us while also assuring the other customers that he would be with them soon. Thanks for your help!

Called in to the Leeds store buy some walking boots for my 15 year old son.
Was very busy but I was every impressed with Mike who was running the footwear section.
His advice was brilliant-he’s clearly very knowledgable.
Also very impressed with how polite and attentive he was, despite trying to help 3 other customers at the same time.

Went in for walking trousers, Limted selection. 34w Long.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Mike. He had a great breadth of knowledge about walking shoes and boots and was friendly in his manner. I wasn’t at all sure about what I wanted or would work for me and my budget but he was able to help me make a purchase I felt really pleased with. Thanks

Came to purchase hiking boots, gaiters and sticks. I was impressed with Laurie’s knowledge and thepatience given to understanding my requirements. I came away with some very comfortable Scarpa boots, having spent more than I expected but confident I have an excellent buy. I also understand more about the variables and materials, plus a bit of history of the different makes!

Went in to buy some boots as my last pair from Mountain Warehouse had given up on being waterproof and comfortable after a year. Mike was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about shoes and their providers and all around a solid guy! Led me to buy the right pair of boots for my feet based on my requirements at work (walking around in boggy upland moors)
