Mike was fantastic and helped us pick the right gear for us. Really appreciated his input, he gave us genuine advice and showed genuine care and attention to our needs.

Was given some stellar advice and support from Richard and Mike. What a lovely couple of lads!

Matt and Jacob were the best, helped me find a great pair of hiking boots and gave me heaps of advice on the best pair for my hike. Big upps to the team, especially Matt and Jacob.

I went to the Leeds Store to buy my son's bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition kit. Lucy served me, and she was amazing, and she made a daunting experience pleasant. She also had great knowledge about the clothing required. It really helped that she had experience by participating in the expedition in the past. Thank you.

I visited Go Outdoors in Leeds to buy all the kit needed for a trip to Peru and the Incha trail. The store had everything I wanted with a great range. All the staff were amazing with a special mention for Jimmy. His customer service was exceptional and he patiently helped me choose everything with great knowledge. Can’t recommend enough and ask for Jimmy if you visit.

I was looking for a running bag/belt to carry my gels and bits for the London Marathon. Jimmy and the staff were extremely helpful, I found what I was looking for which I'm sure will do me well on the run in a few days time. Thanks team.. 👌🏻👍🏻

Just wanted to thank Mike for all his help and advise with purchasing a jacket & a hiking bag for my son. He went above & beyond to give us some excellent advise, which we certainly needed . The whole team were friendly. Was a pleasure to visit the store.

Matt served me. I explained I’m walking up Snowden in June and needed help getting kitted out with what I need to stay warm and dry. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me great advice. Highly recommend him.

Sometimes it isn’t about what you’ve spent but what you’ve saved that makes you a customer! I want to say a massive thanks to the young gent Luke on fishing, he saw me walking around and start chatting to me, showing me where everything was when I believe he clocked on I was in fact wanting to fish on the river at Kirkstall. At the point he realised he kindly explained to me that it’s closed season and if caught fishing I would receive a hefty fine and potentially would have my gear taken off me. I have only just come back to the UK from many years living in France and I totally forgot about the close season. You might not have gotten any money from me this time but the honesty and integrity Luke showed to me knowing I would leave the store not buying anything has certainly made you my go to now for when the rivers open up.

Amazing experience from the minute we walked in. Partner and I went in like a deer in headlights looking for walking boots. Mike was beyond helpful, so incredibly knowledgeable and he helped us picked the perfect pair of boots and socks to go with them. Nothing was too much trouble and we ended up spending two hours walking round picking all our camping equipment to go with our new boots. Can’t fault the staff or store, already said we’d be back next weekend to get the few final bits and more recommendations from Mike for a good cafe and pastry out near the Dales! Thank you so much, from two now slightly more knowledgeable people armed with everything we need for a fantastic weekend in gods back garden!

not really a review writer but i visited your Leeds store yesterday and was served by a very fine knowledgeable young man called Sam, he was very courteous and patient with me as he helped me purchase a metal detector for me to enjoy in retirement, he guided me through the tech and helped me make the correct purchase, even bought some extras, thank you Sam 5 star service.

There I was, armed with a flask and sandwiches, essentials for when my hubby is choosing walking boots. I’d just got settled for the day when Lewis appeared. What a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable member of staff you have. Within 15mins we were heading to the till. Lewis recommended the perfect pair of boots. Thank you Lewis for your superb service.
