Sales girl reminded me to renew my membership - which I’d forgotten to do! Very friendly and efficient staff - gave us space to stash our new tent before payment - while we shopped for further items.

Tamzin was fantastic and gave me loads of advice

Leah was very helpfull, i went into store completely clueless and left with everything that i needed.

I went inside the store today with a specific purchase to make immediately I found two members of customer service who are able to point me in the direction I needed. The lady member of staff on the till was very friendly and we connected straight away. Very happy to have a local gold dose and can always find good customer service trustworthy.

Conor was enthusisiastic and helpful with my query on not just cookers, but also incredibly helpful with how to buy gas for each and every option and explain the pros and cons – and even found Time to help me make some calculations to help me with my decision whilst juggling other managerial duties.
All the staff were incredibly friendly on the phone and in store I’m so impressed and can’t wait to come back into the store.

I placed an order with Go Outdoors specifically because returns/exchanges SHOULD be easy.
I wanted to exchange 2 for different sizes, went to store and they only had 1. They refused to do the exchange or the return due to a new system!
I phoned Customer services and the automated message said ' RETURNS ARE EASY SIMPLY RETURN TO GO OUTDOORS STORE!'
If your going to change your policy be sure to UPDATE all means of letting customers know. Dont just put it on the Delivery note so by the time you find out its too late.
I had to pay for the items again in store (they are birthday presents otherwise I would have refused to give Go Outdoors any more money). One of the items was 14.95 online and I had to pay £33 in store! When I queried it as the labels are identical they said one was new stock!
I left the store, called customer services to arrange a return which I now have to go to a post office for! and said I wanted to make a complaint. The agent said I couldn't make a complaint!!!! I explained that every consumer has the legal right to make a complaint and will be making a formal complaint in writing.

Today I went to the Harlow store, the staff have always been so lovely, polite, helpful and professional, but oh my goodness the store is freezing and I had to leave without buying the item I wanted to look for, how the staff worked in that temperature is beyond me!

my experience was great dee and kris helped out alot by helping me find the right stuff will come back!!

Dee was extremley helpful and gave us information we needed in a freindly and informative way and took time to understand our needs
Warren on the till helped us join the go outdoors club and explsined every step of the way giving information all the way

Went in this morning with 3 items on my list. Left with 4! Kris was great: Very helpful but once he'd got me the sizes I'd asked for, he didn't hover or do any hard sell. As I was leaving to pay, he came up with a very good suggestion, based on a comment I'd made. But again, once he'd made the suggestion, there was no follow up hard sell.
