Found the staff helpful and friendly when looking for a hat for my grandson and was able to make a welcome saving after having the advantages of a Discount Card explained to me. Many thanks Steve, Alex and Jake for a pleasant shopping experience.

Purchased a new Rab jacket from this little Halifax store and was really happy with the jacket and the service I was given from Cass, Steve and Alex, will most certainly be back before the Black Friday deals end

Reserved an item for collection in store, I receive a text message to say that the item needs to be collected by the evening of the next working day. I work a full time job and their stores are only open 9-5.30 every day. On the same day I receive another text message me to remind me to come and collect my order. I ask my manager to finish work a bit earlier so I can go and pick up the order. I then arrive at the store 15 mins before closing time and I show the text messages to the shop assistant and she says 'those messages are sent from the head office, it's got nothing to do with us, we normally keep the orders in for 1 week' Well I say can you see how stressful it can be receiving those text messages one after the other. Please review your policy and please stop sending those type of texts to your customers as they can be very stressful and create a negative experience.
I then get to pay for my item and they wanted to charge me the full price. I say that online there was an extra15 Black Friday code I applied to my order. A bit reluctant the manager applied the code. Had I not said anything would've I been charged the full price?! Very strange shop, this was a Christmas present for somebody else but I don't think I'll ever shop here unless it's a present for somebody else. Happy to provide proof of the text messages.

Both Jake and Steve were immediately at hand to provide any assistance. Made the transaction seamless with a freindly customer focused atmosphere.

The staff in store when I was shopping was really knowledgeable and helpful, I told them what I wanted but wasn't sure on which brand would best suit my needs, the help I got was great. I've shopped in this particular store afew times now and every time I go in, there is always a warm greeting and staff going above and beyond every single time. I'll most certainly be shopping there again

The Halifax store is only a small store but had plenty of items in stock to chose from. As always the staff were very helpful and gave constructive advice on what was available both in store or could be ordered in.

My daughter needed some walking shoes and Emily was very friendly and helpful in finding the best ones for her. She also explained the benefits of the membership scheme so we made a small saving and can use it for a year.

Purchased a new pair of walking boots, assisted by Emily who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Steve was on the till and gave more advice on after care. Both were very friendly and I would recommend Go Outdoors Halifax.

Staff were so helpful. Jake knew exactly what I needed gave fabulous advice on washing and care of the coat. The person on the till was again really helpful with proving me the information for the membership (think his name was Sam). Would highly recommend this store.

We went to Go Outdoors in Halifax, looking for a pair of lightweight walking shoes. The staff, EMILY and STEVE, were very helpful and pleasant, giving invaluable advice and assistance. We came away with a great deal more than we went in for, and all of it of very good quality and at brilliant prices!
