Great experience at Granton branch of Go outdoors
On my recent visit to Granton branch of GoOutdoors I was welcomed warmly and served by a lovely member of staff. I found what I needed and had a nice chat with Jane who served me at the till. Overall it was a great shopping experience!

Great staff
I went to Edinburgh go outdoors for a new pair of boots. I saw some thermal cups and thought one of them would fit my car holder. I spoke to a staff member and he came outside with me to check if it would fit. I tried my boots on and took boots and cup to the checkout. Jane served me very efficiently. The staff made my visit a pleasant experience.

We always use the Edinburgh store for all our outdoor needs
We always use the Edinburgh store for all our outdoor needs and now for all our clothing and not using popular fashion outlets. On our recent visit, we found that staff were helpful and welcoming, the toilets were spotless and Isla, the young checkout girl remembered us and was so cheerful. Well worth a visit and you will be pleasantly surprised

You can only buy a bike here if Fraser the bike guy is in as he’s a Uni student!!
Tried to buy 2 adult mountain bikes from Edinburgh store today. After waiting for 10 minutes in bike section, eventually managed to track down a member of staff to be told that the Fraser the bike mechanic doesn’t work any day apart form Sunday so nobody could advise me on bike purchase. When queried whether I could buy bikes, was told yes but there would be no warranty or guarantee given as they hadn’t set the bikes up. I could only get that if I came back Sunday and managed to get Fraser to deal with me direct! What kind of a business model is this?

Shannah was a great help!
I went in to buy some new women's hiking boots, armed with just a bit of knowledge. Shannah really helped me out by being patient and allowing me to try on every single boot! I didn't feel rushed or pressurised and I managed to get a little extra discount on the last pair available. I've always found the staff helpful and approachable here! Definitely recommend and nice to have a shop that's local and not super busy.
