Staff very friendly and helpful. Great choice of products, prices good for Go outdoors Card holders. Online needs tweeted, online saying card expired when it wasn't. Checked in store and was told it was a glitch in New system. Was told although I had set up a Card in store I needed to Set up an online account!

Jane was very helpful
Jane was very helpful. I called the store to see if they do Campingaz exchanges and she quickly said they do and checked that they had some in stock without me having to ask. I then went into the shop and she was on the checkout. Very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back

It is a nice big shop to browse
It is a nice big shop with gear for different outdoor activities. It is always nice to just browse the shelves and it's very likely that one will find something needed or a good present, especially on the sale sections. Jane at the counter was really friendly and helpful, full of great advice.

A well managed store
I was in store to collect a parcel that UPS had dropped off there, then I got distracted and started looking around! I was served by three different members of staff, all of whom were friendly, courteous and helpful. I don’t usually bother with writing reviews, but the staff here deserved it…Jane, at the checkout, deserves a mention for being helpful and thorough!

Maybe the worst online order platform I…
Maybe the worst online order platform I used.
They did not tell you on their website that they are out of stock.
I ordered an item and a week later I emailed them for an update as I hadn’t received anything from them.
They emailed back that they were “expecting stock from their supplier at toward the end of the week”
So that meant it would be 2 weeks before they had even sent my item.
Didn’t even bother to let me know that, I had to ask!
Poor.

Great ordering online and return experience
It was my first experience with Go Outdoors. It was a great experience ordering online. When a faulty package arrived I contacted the Edinburgh store for a return and replacement.
A very attentive customer service agent prepared a replacement item. I collected it today from a very friendly and helpful staff attendant. Shannah went the extra mile to get the refund and replacement item to me.
Great service and staff. Will definitely be back again.

I am very sorry that your order was not available for collection by the expected date and that you were not kept informed of the delay.
Having investigated your order, I can confirm that it has unfortunately been deemed lost in transit by our delivery partner. As a result, a full refund has now been processed for the order. Please allow a 3-5 working days for the funds to appear back in your original payment method, depending on your bank's processing timescales.
I appreciate how disappointing and frustrating this must be, particularly as you were expecting your order to be ready for collection and had not received an update from us.

Great wee shop
The customer service delivered by Jane on the tills was fab. She was very knowledgeable about the product and even advised my membership would end this week, and she was very pleasant and friendly.
The overall shop itself was nicely organised, clean and tidy. I used the changing rooms and they were very clean and comfortable.
