Very polite and pleasant young lady called Faith served us . Does make a change when people smile and have a conversation . Well done Faith!

Tyrell made my Bedford branch visit brilliant - but Go Outdoors needs to look after him.
I choose to shop in-store and pay extra because staff like Tyrell make it worth it. But with three heatwaves already this summer, the store has no AC, and it's a brutal environment for staff to work in all day.
Installing AC is a simple fix. Do it for the people who make the in-store experience worth showing up for.

Cannot thank the staff enough for their help at the Bedford store yesterday. A big thank you to Kate especially who’s brilliant advice helped me to select the right sleeping bag for my forthcoming trip to the Himalayas. 10/10

I was looking for some camping chairs and there were only black in stock on the shop floor, but online it showed the another colour in stock. Spoke to Brittney who was really friendly and helpful and called for Jan to check the wearhouse, which he did and found the stock, which he brought out to me. Super grateful as they are for a birthday present. I was then served by Ben who was also friendly. Excellent service from everyone, highly recommend Go Outdoors Bedford.

I asked the lady Liz if I buy a chair and get one half price.Can I get a further discount because I’m a member of different camping and caravan club .Liz explained that because of the offers you can’t .
I’m was happy that she explained it very well in detail.

Great shop, staff well informed. There is a limit of 2 hours parking, but you can extend this in store via their Qcode notices.
We didn't see the car park limit and got a penalty notice of £60 which we paid as the deadline before it rose was about to run out. We went to the store to say it wasn't obvious, and the cashier and particuarly Jay Juttla were very helpful, calming a potentially difficult situation and responding very quickly (same day) to us sending the fine notice and receipt, by saying the car park operator had agreed to return the fine given the evidence of shopping there. Jay really was outstanding, balanced and calm, and got on with it. Thanks Jay!

Found what i was looking for, great! 2 friendly staff helped at the till and renewing my go-outdoors card only took a minute. A member of staff recognised me from a previous place of work and took the time for a quick chat. That was a nice end to the visit.

Could not give 5 stars because of the ladie's attitude on the checkout, she is very abrupt and rude giving the impression she dislikes dealing with people and does not like doing till work, very unimpressed as we used this branch for everything needed for camping ( we stopped camping for the last 4 years or so but now camping again)

Staff were friendly and attentive without being a nuisance. Everything we needed was in stock and the membership discount scheme saves lots of money.

Great help from Tyrell, looked in the sale areas and the stockroom for me to find my trainers. Also checked stock online for another pair which I ordered. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience today with Tyrell, I was looking for hiking and walking shoes and he nicely explained about different brands, helped to try multiple options. Cheers for that, I will be visiting Bedford store more in coming weeks.
