I placed the 'click and collect' order for 3 items, received no confirmation of it being ready. after 2 weeks i went to the store to ask and was told it had been collected which was not true. they did eventually find the order, but it was slow and frustrating.

Shopping for hiking boots, and I have v wide feet so it's no easy task.
Kate and Ziggy were very helpful and knowledgeable about the boots most suited to me. A pair I hadn't even considered were recommended by Ziggy , and felt like slippers when wearing . Needless to say I bought the Keen hiking boots they recommended.

I was looking for an LC pop up day shelter, initially went to my local store that indicated that it had two in stock. Unfortunately this was not correct, so I contacted the Bedford store and spoke with Merv, very happy to help, confirmed he had one in stock which he put aside for me. Went to store and collected item, Merv was great, very helpful, pity it's not my local store.

Thank you so much James at Go Outdoors in Bedford!!! As a female, complete beginner to camping and camping gear, my anxiety when it came to buying cooking gear was through the roof! So many choices and I didn’t even know what type of gas let alone connections, regulators, gas bottles I needed to buy.
James patiently explained everything I needed to know, not once making me feel stupid. In the end, I bought a Cadac 2 Cook 2 Pro Deluxe with a Camingaz and James showed me how to connect everything. He also helped me choose a folding table. It may not sound like a lot but to me, James was very patient and was brilliant!! Thank you

Great store, competitive prices, and helpful staff, couldn’t ask for more.

Tyrell was exceptional helpful and talked me through what I needed to know about looking after my new boots. Certainly knew his stuff. Danielle on the till was also helpful and polite. Made getting new walking boots very easy.

Everybody was polite especially Dani and Helena Dani got all of the shoes for us and trust me the was a lot of requests and Helena was a great cashier

Truly a remarkable experience of customer service, could not have been more helpful. We could not find what we were looking for, not only did the assistant show us exactly where the item was but also, as we needed two, got another one from the stockroom and informed us that they had a special offers on camping furniture buy one get one half price. Managed to save a whopping £135 today. Top marks to the cashiers as well, two people in the queue and they opened another till. 100% satisfied, happy customers . We’ll done

Merv was really helpful at the fishing section he knew what he was talking about but then. I got to the till and the lady was not very nice I had my menders card in my hand and and she said give me your menders card which I third was very rude and not very nice to a customer

Was served by molly. Was wanting climbing shoes, the advice I got was helpful and helped to make a the right decision.

Jakub and Callum were very helpful, curtious and friendly members of staff who were essential in my purchases

The young girl on the till was extremely polite and friendly

Very helpful staff. My son was buying a new fishing rod and reel. He is a beginner so he had lots of questions. Merv served us and he was very patient and very knowledgeable. My son was very happy with his new purchase and loved all the helpful advise he gave him. Thank you

I had many questions at the store..all answered politely, promptly.
I had a late delivery by a courier, so I had to quickly buy the same items in store..when the original order was finally delivered, I returned them to a store, and the refund was done quickly..even getting my money back the same day

Superb visit to Go Outdoors, Bedford on Tuesday. Danielle is a great asset to the store. She is competent, offers great advice and gives exemplary service.

We managed to source everything we wanted before I spotted an ideal birthday present for my stepdaughter. It was a lovely T-shirt however there was only one in the size she is on the rail and unfortunately had a small stain on the collar. Danielle quickly reacted firstly checking warehouse stock which showed none then attempting to remove the stain herself. She had also called her manager who kindly reduced the T-shirt optimistic I would be able to remove the stain once at home.

Danielle is exactly the kind of staff member that ALL stores should have.

Her willingness to quickly resolve a problem and help a customer at all costs rather than saying ‘there’s nothing we can do’ was above and beyond and made the whole experience very pleasant.
Go Outdoors certainly need to keep her!

Had a good experience and found the customer service very good.
Was helped by a friendly staff member called Brittany who helped me pick out the perfect pair of boots for a hiking trip.
