Terry in the bike department at the Basingstoke store was really helpful with our bike purchase today, taking the time to check the size for my son carefully

Brilliant customer service from Aaron and Davy. Thank you your advice and your knowledge was outstanding both need a pay rise as it was very hot on the tent section. And they were running around like headless chickens as it was busy.

Really great experience - Paul, from the footwear department, was incredibly patient and helpful in talking my son through the need for well laced shoes for hiking, and teaching him an effective way to tie them. Thank you so much!

Davy (bike tech), make our purchase easy and save our time by expanding our bike service schedule. Great service, also james (bike tech) who answer our of our question on our first visit to the store.

Amber, who helped me select a new set of walking shoes was a delight, very helpful and patient as I couldn't remember the name of my previous walking shoes. We got there in the end without any sign of her getting disengaged or impatient. What is more I saved £20 on the normal discounted price.

Got served by Matthew ask to look at one of the hi gear premium thermec freezer as there wasn't one on show he went off and found it in one of the tents and bought it over to us so we can see how big and what it looks like before buying it he was so helpful and very polite

Liv was very helpful with helping me to pick out the best shoes for what I wanted. Would recommend.

Sophie was really helpful in helping us choose boots for the whole family, she gave us lots of good advice on how they should fit and was very patient and diligent in getting a lot of different sizes out for us. A good selection of shoes and boots and a pleasant shop environment at Basingstoke.

Great service when I brought my new bike on Wednesday. Cullen who is in the cycle section was brilliant and helped me choose the correct size frame/wheels.
Cullen spent the time with no sales pressure.
Once I decided which bike i wanted, Cullen made sure the bike was ready to take away by doing the post sale check.
All in all very happy with the bike which is very good price for the spec and very happy happy with the service.
Cullen is a great asset to the store. 👍

The shop were clearly short staffed however Ellie helped me pick out a pair of walking boots that were suitable and gave me advise on a subject I really have no knowledge on! I was greeted by Anya at the tills who served me with a smile.

My first visit to Go Outdoors and very impressed with the good selection of makes and choices. I like Mountain Equipment clothes and Berghaus and bought a replacement Berghaus Glissade ladies waterproof to replace one which I have had for 20+ years. Impressed with the selection of Craghoppers clothes too. This saves me purchasing items in the Lake District in a few weeks time. So good to know Go Outdoors is almost on my doorstep.

Another fantastic experience at the store with the knowledgeable staff. I was looking for some DOFE items for my daughter and Frankie was incredibly helpful. I’ll definitely be back! !!

I like GO and their products. My problem is with the SHOP app which, for me, failed to properly communicate, failed to give adequate notice of a delivery the first time when I couldn’t return home in time and on the second delivery they gave no notice at all. They need to review Amazon’s performance.

Amazing costumer service

Stan assisted and advised us today and we couldn’t have wished for better advice or a better advisor. My 12 year old grandson was looking for a rucksack to do his Duke of Edinburgh. Stan was excellent as he’d completed his bronze and silver DoE and was from his experience, able to offer pertinent adobe. He was exceptionally polite and knowledgeable and was a pleasure deal with. We joined as members and will definitely shop there again.

We were served by Nuriye today, who was fantastic, her experience meant our shop was made easier, she gave us lots of different options, explaining what they all did and the difference between them, it meant we left with everything we needed. Fantastic member of staff..
