Delivery fine, however the plant was way larger than I anticipated which was 1.5 to 2.0 meters, I obviously should have gone for the smaller one.

A caring reliable company
I was so glad to find that I could buy a particular terracotta window box supplied by this company. They were a pleasure to deal with — especially as when I discovered that the day the window box was to be delivered I was going to be out, they arranged for it to be delivered à day earlier. They are à small company who really care about their customers.

Nice plants!
The plants received are healthy, strong and beautiful,nicely wrapped up in net. The customer service was excellent in communication, keeping me informed of all stages of the delivery. However, the delivery driver left the plants exposed in front of the door in the porch and head off. They could have been stolen if we didn't hear the door knock.That was disappointing given we paid £15 for delivery costs. I can see from some reviews that this was experience of others so there is room for improvement with the delivery.
I would recommend the company and I would order from them again.

I ordered 5 Red Robin family hedging plants to replace / fill gaps in our existing hedge. I had previously used Garden Plants Online and been very satisfied so I used them again. It was easy to identify the species of Red Robin I wanted (two different types for different parts of my hedge), and could also order the appropriate height to fill my gaps.
The ordering process is easy and I was kept updated with the expected delivery date etc.
The delivery driver himself was extremely helpful in putting the plant pots where I wanted them.
All in all very good service and good plants too.

Nana Globossa Plant i ordered was obtained and despatched within the time frame specified, it arrived on the given delivery day within the time frame given and the driver dropped it where I asked. It's a lovely healthy plant in excellent condition and now happily living in a large barrel on my patio!

Wrongly labeled palm
Ordered a palm tree early December as a Christmas present. It didn't arrive. When I rang after Christmas to ask when it would be delivered I was assured it would arrive the next week. It actually arrived in March while we were on holiday. The palm tree looked very healthy and was a great size but there are different species of palm tree and this had 3 different labels attached. We rang immediately to ask which type it was and the lady was quite rude saying we'd had it a week. She said she'd get back to us and didn't. We rang again and were told grudgingly to send photos of the tree and their experts would identify it. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and have not had a reply. Have just emailed again with fingers crossed. I don't like giving bad reviews but it has been 3 months, £100 spent and I still don't know if the tree is what I ordered. I know different palm trees look very similar when small but it is not acceptable to attach 3 different labels to a tree when a specific tree has been ordered. They are supposed to be the experts. Will not be ordering from them again.

Regarding our growers in Italy, they are indeed experts and without them and their extensive knowledge their would be far less beautiful gardens in the UK.
Healthy looking tree
Although it arrived a day late, I had a very sincere apology from the company.
I particularly appreciated that there was a download with planting instructions for the tree.
One slight niggle is that the courier didn't ring the bell, but just left it on the front porch, so I didn't know it was there.

Eucalyptus Gunnii arrived as ordered.
Size is correct, plant looks healthy.
Delivery was not great.
Bush was left in front of the door, fully exposed and ready to be stolen.
There is a niche in the porch that allows deliveries to be stored out of site, with a clear label saying: ‘leave deliveries here’. Every other delivery company gets it. Disappointing that this one does not.

My Cercis Heart of Gold arrived in great condition and immediately started blooming its beautiful tiny deep pink buds directly from the wood. I gave it 4 stars just cos it took a few weeks to arrive. That may have been me not reading about delivery times as I think it was arriving from elsewhere. GPO kept in touch with me via email. I would recommend them :)

50 days with no order in sight, avoid
Should have read the reviews first, don’t bother with them. 50 days so far on a 5-12 day estimate and absolutely no idea on when my order will arrive. Zero updates apart from automated emails claiming it has arrived to their nursery (which they deny). I have to call them to get any kind of update and all those calls do is secure a promise of delivery the following week which falls through each time. Tried to do the right thing and avoid Amazon only to fall victim to incompetence manifest. Avoid.

As this matter has now been dealt with interally, I will respond on the basis that this negative review hopefully is removed by either yourself or by Trust Pilot.
Regarding the ''12 day'' estimate, this would not be accurate for our Terracotta Pots and Planters that are specially hand made to order in Italy. As listed on our website ''delivery lead time could be extended up to 3 - 4 weeks due to hand-made manufacturing process. Contact us to check availability, many items we have in stock, delivery lead time 3-5 days.'' Public holidays also need to be taken into consideration.

It takes time to make these products, however, we did offer an alternative that was in stock in our yard in the UK as a quicker option on the 24th of February via email. We did not receive any response from you.
An email was then sent to you on the 19th of March in response to this review by a staff member who is no longer with us.
We also have offered you a discount on future order and will get your product to you.
This review does however, unfortunately effect us negatively, as if the terms and conditions are agreed upon, delays would be in time to what is listed on the website. We just need our customers to take this into consideration before purchasing with us.
The claims regaring ''Zero updates'' also are not accurate as our Operatikon Manager and Customer Service agent contacted you directly to advise of the above.

Excellent service - answered phone quickly, helped me with delivery and kept me informed. Good quality tree supplied, very pleasant driver.
Just one thing to advise - I inadvertently bought a multi-stem tree thinking I was getting a standard one! It was not a problem for me, but think the website could make it a bit clearer in future.
